LOL. God bless me because I listened to the whole thing. I just set up mine today and I am not sure if I even want to use it. Things for sharing your story.
Thank you for blessing me with information. I won't sign up for any of them. I just tried a 2.00 transaction and that got complicated...anywho... thank you so much for your story...Smh!!!
Bank of America offer a service to the people they are the one that is responsible the need to screen their workers because some of the workers could be a scammer too
So basically the system has no confirmation system, one person on the comment section had a good idea of sending $1 before to verify it reached it's destination.
Now a days you need to recieve a security code to your phone and you will need to punch that code to establish or change any accounts assiociated to that number. This security mechanism will prevent your number from beeing hijacked.
Sounds like a class action lawsuit waiting to happen. I wonder if lawyers could obtain that information. I hate that they cover for thieves. It makes you wonder how many people have lost their money in this same situation, and didn't take the extra steps you did. I bet the phone number change happened on the same day as the transfer, which is probably why they refused to tell you.
Hi thanks for this vlog. You have given me ideas how to help my daughter who is only 20 years old & still in college. Her situation is the other way around. Her money in the amount of $3500 was transferred thru Zelle wherein she was not the one who executed the transfer to 2 different emails who are in recipient list. We just received the letters from Chase stating that there were no fraud & they're legit transfers. This is my dilemma, I can't be involved to help her cuz this account was used to be under my account when it happened last week. When she reported, Chase closed the account to prevent anything & open a different account where I have no access & not under her account.
I was doing other things while listening to your video. Sorry to hear about your frustration, but it was still a cool story. I am interested developing skills auditing information systems so I actually enjoyed the details. Although I plan to do some different soon, I actually do investigations in the alcohol industry so the investigative work is similar. Much longer story. In either case, thanks for sharing. Especially since I just sent money to a friend's phone number today. So will definitely be following up with her to make sure that she actually receives the funds. Thanks for the headsup....
No thank you for this information because a lot of people would next tell you. But the Bank is the MOFIT itself. Thank you for your help the company Zelle was about to go through name change and a new president if you would have gone to a new report with this it would have cause problems and keep Zelle from open up. That why President Obama told them no you are going to pay this money back. Whatever happens to your business partners and I have subscriber to your channel
Is Email safer than Phone # bc than they can’t access ur email right? Email’s n Social Sites have a Two Verification security, 🤨why then does something as an Online banking payment not have high security or Tracking Confirmations? .. this is mind-blogging! 🤯
So should I then provide the bank my mobile number when signing up for online banking (on the computer, not a web app on the mobile phone)? I keep getting a prompt to provide my phone number every time I log in. Would this be a good security measure for them to have my phone number?
Yup! I wired $200 for an event to promote my business. The event didn’t go thru, I requested a refund and the fucker wouldn’t give me my money bank. I tried getting it back from the bank, after 5x trying to get it back, my bank sends me a letter saying they couldn’t help me and that the complaint was closed. So I lost $200! NEVER AGAIN!!! Don’t use Zelle!!! They’re worthless!!! 🤬
Thank you for your information regarding this scam. If it wasn't for all the investigative work you did, you never would have found out what happened to your money. Apparently, there are all kinds of scams everywhere and it's unfortunate that it's getting more and more difficult to find out the source of the scam. Also, not everybody has the time and knowledge to go about doing investigative work. Good for you! At least you got your money back 😊.
So i am using zelle to pay back a family member i just signed up for it and having said family member sign up for it is it safe to do it once both phone numbers have been confirmed security codes an all?
More than likely, someone had your phone number before you did and had previously signed up with Zelle. The person perhaps lost that phone number and then it was given to you. So in reality you probably had never signed up for it yourself. If you did, you would have been able to check the date of the confirmation email you received on the day you supposedly signed up for it. The fact that you were solely relying on the bank to tell you when you signed up. Tells me you were not signed up in the first place to begin with.
No because chase was able to verify that I had signed up when I opened my account. The suspicious part on Chases behalf was that they acknowledged a sign up, then acknowledged that I wasn’t signed up at the time of the transfer, but said they had no information on when I was unregistered...
Very informative and helpful. Just a little constructive criticism, try not to breath so loud into the microphone and try not to make smacking noises with your mouth when talking. Couldn't watch the whole video.
Your story does not make sense. Those organizations cannot see the transaction between each other. You and your friend where trying to commit bank fraud. Don’t lie.
The banks don't see personal information, sure, but in this case Zelle had a name of a recipient and confirmed that it wasn't either of ours. The law prohibits them from sharing that finding with any of the other banks involved without a lot of red tape being ripped off.
Bank Fraud is a serious accusation, and should not be thrown out there without serious proof ( especially not on social media where people are just waiting for opportunities to troll or hurt others )
Autohitch Zelle is P2P and works on Blockchain. In order to set it up you need the Phone number associated with the bank account for peer sharing. Y’all doing a Jessie Smollett.
Thank you for helping people by sharing this , God bless you too. May these scammers rot in a putrid pile of filth
LOL. God bless me because I listened to the whole thing. I just set up mine today and I am not sure if I even want to use it. Things for sharing your story.
I said it before and I'll say it again nobody's more gangster than the bank💯
what I learned, always send like 10 cents first to test
You're a good person for making this video. Thank you.
Your friend had a wire fraud case. He should have file a report with the FBI and gave them the information you just stated.
You sir are on to something big .
Why not get a lawyer and force them to tell you the day you were unregistered? You may have a big lawsuit on your hands
Thank you for blessing me with information. I won't sign up for any of them. I just tried a 2.00 transaction and that got complicated...anywho... thank you so much for your story...Smh!!!
When I’m going to get money, I first ask the person to send me $5 to test it
Moral of the story. Don’t use your number, use your email 🙃

Wow, so I was thinking that my clients can send me money through zelle, but thinking twice🤔
Thanks very informative.
$1,500 , I thought it was my employer that didn’t send it and I quit my job , what to do ???

Why do you keep calling it Online BillPay when you are referring to P2P money transfer apps?!?!
How do I register my phone number to my online bill pay? And do I register it on the zelle app or my bank?

I agree with John Cole.

Is it pronounced zell or zelly?
pls help me to get my money back, i have exactly same problem, i called them and the bank said they will do an investigation for about 45 days,...
Bill pay isn’t the same as zelle. Wells Fargo doesn’t have zelle in there app.
Damn thanks for the info

@@Autohitchcouldn't your friend see any account information as to who received the money? or did it only show up as a phone number

Chris scott if you’ve never been in this situation you wouldn’t understand

$1800 a large sum of money? Bahahahahahaha. Where do you live in a third world country? A nice TV costs more than that
