  • In this first episode of my Travel in West Africa with my Motorcycle, I will drive from NIGERIA to BENIN. Starting from LAGOS city, I planned to drive all the way down to COTONOU in Benin and finally reach Ouidah before the night. This is a ride of about 200 km between two countries in AFRICA.
Talking on the side of the road with locals, doing the school pick up with the motorbike, driving, crossing the border, buying a SIM card, seeing a traditional voodoo celebration, finding a hotel and finally settle there after a good meal... you won't miss a thing of this first day of travel at the handlebars of my Okada (Nigerian motorcycle)
I hope you will enjoy this first episode.

this is the first episode of my west African trip on a Okada" I really hope you will like it.
I am sorry that i made a video of 1h30 minutes, but it was really hard for me to cut that day in two parts, as it is one full experience.
I hope you will like the series coming, starting in the country side of Ouidah with some really nice people I met in villages.
PLEASE help that video to travel around, and be seen all over the globe.
two ways, they both are free of charge and full of love for the small work I try to put together for you :
1.share the video on your facebook, create an account and reddit if you don t have and do the same, send it to your friends grandma, boss, colleagues,
    2. come and share a nice talk in the comment section with the community, the family...
thanks so much for your constant support !
see you next week for a long 4.30 hours uncut drive, and the second episode shorter i promise !

Ludo it has been too long since I rode with you. I thoroughly enjoyed this ride especially traveling through the local communities, giving a ride to the two boys on the way to school and talking to the store owner while stopping for a cool drink. Several questions came to mind: Why are there so many checkpoints? What happens at the checkpoints? Why do the boys have to travel so far to school? If they are unable to hitch a ride, how do they get to school? How many miles is it from where they live to the school? These are just some thoughts that came to mind. No answers are needed, so don't trouble yourself. The view crossing the bridge over the river was wonderful. Benin looks interesting and so far I like what I see. Good choice for staying overnight in a nice, quiet, beautiful area with simple but comfortable accommodations. Dinner was delicious! This was a great ride!

Il a dit exactement ceci: "This is foreign Passport" et moi de lui répliquer " So what is writing on the cover and in this Passport?" et lui de me répondre "Nigeria". Alors je lui ai posé la question "What is the meaning of foreign passport?"

Ludo, it’s so crazy for such a short travel distance within two neighboring countries to have so much check points. It’s ridiculous! Frustrating. Not conducive for commerce. All these check points are just set up to be extorting money from traders and tourist along that route. It happened to me on my way going from Cotonou to Lagos. It was so frustrating that I decided never to visit that country anymore because of the exorbitant amount I had to dish out from my pocket. It’s far better when you get to the Republic of Benin. I really appreciate and applaud your touristic efforts. Take care, and safe travels.

Very nice, I've watched and enjoyed many of your videos. I live in Brazil and sometimes the places you go look a bit familiar to me. Also the way you're welcomed everywhere you go, I feel like that sometimes here and I have to keep telling the people "Hey, i was born here, I just look like a foreigner." because for some reason they seem to think that way. My favorite video is the one where you take your kid to the beach, she's a cutie. Anyway, thanks for the great content, hope you continue to be safe and happy on your trips, take care.

A lot of people there are just trying to latch on to you to see what they can get from you or how you can help their situation, once you have nothing for them they drop you sharp! It's good to interact but becareful. Some are also genuinely happy to be talking to a white person for the first time and discovering that you are actually humble. You need certain skills to leave in Nigeria. Affluent neighbourhoods is different though people are not so desperate there.

Really interesting journey with great presentation and commentry. Compared to your previous drives, this one has a great deal of your actual appearence which makes the film even more interesting and informative. I dont usually like music in these travel films but this worked just fine in the speeded up timelapses, and the music was nice and ambianced. I think your films are the best modern travel films showing how life in West Africa is like today.

I also thought the boys travel far for school. Hope they succeed. Then the check points. I lost track counting. I’m thinking are they that incompetent checking to have soo many back to back in one area. I can understand maybe two. To top it off, the plain clothes officer ordered you to take you to the office. Did not ask. For safety reasons, I would also give the ride...but damn🙄. Anyway...Great job sharing with us😊

      MANUSIA PERTAMA - RUPA GAMBAR TUHAN ( Kejadian 1 : 26 ) .
      Terkena DOSA di dalam TAMAN EDEN ( Kejadian 3 : 4 - 6 )
Akibatnya ROH KEMULIAAN RUPA GAMBAR TUHAN terlepas dari mereka sehingga mereka TELANJANG ( Kejadian 3 : 7 ) . Dan mereka menjadi ORANG .
MANUSIA PERTAMA menjadi ADAM , dan PEREMPUAN - TULANG RUSUK menjadi HAWA .
Di luar TAMAN EDEN mereka melihat hewan-hewan saling kawin-mengawin , maka mereka mencontohnya , sehingga lahirlah kita semua Anakcucu ADAMHAWA dari SPERMA PERSETUBUHAN seperti hewan-hewan saling kawin-mengawin ( Kejadian 4 : 1 )
MANUSIA KEDUA - FIRMAN TUHAN ( YOHANNES 1 : 1 - dstnya ) - TUHAN YESUS KRISTUS dicobai dikenai DOSA di PADANG GURUN oleh si IBLIS ( MATIUS 4 : 1 - 11 ) . Tetapi TUHAN YESUS KRISTUS berhasil mengalahkan menaklukkan si IBLIS .
      .
      .
      .
      .
