Yes we did brother but I wished you'd visit bayero university kano, they would have provided you with a full history and origin of Gano people. I have no doubt there is connection especially if we go back to the history of arrival of Islam in the northern states you will find that its brought by traders from Mali and senegal,Moreover Some of my friends and neighbors are in gambia right now for trading purposes .thank you brother 🤝

During my time living in Turkey, I had the chance to meet Nigerians from various regions. I observed that those from the northern part of Nigeria stood out from the typical portrayals we often see on TV. They had a calm, friendly demeanor, were easygoing, and carried themselves with a deep sense of respect. Their outlook on life seemed strongly influenced by their cultural values.

The Hausa people also have a very rich culture, and a great business mindset. Nigeria as a country has great potential. It pains me that tribalism and ignorance is keeping the nation from taking it place in the world. I'm from SE part of Nigeria, I do wish everyone well, I belive that most citizens are good people but the criminal politicians use religion and tribalism to divide and rule, there by keeping the majority of the population in extreme poverty, especially in the northern part of the country.

You feed off the wealth of the niger delta. Coming here to talk rubbish. Wealth inequality in what sense? Talking rubbish as if they are no southerners in the north whom have license to mine gold and other precious metals. You have nothing, absolutely nothing to say. You can carry your hatred and envy of northerners to your grave. They don't care. The lime stone is in ogun state, why didn't you invest and open up a cement factory in ogun state just like dangote has done. Is anyone holding you back? Jealousy is the last class you attend before graduating to witchcraft.

Kano is truly a hidden gem with so many remarkable achievements:
Highest population in Nigeria and Africa (over 9 million).
One of the richest cities and a major center of commerce in Africa.
Has the 2nd largest movie industry in Africa (Kanywood).
Home to some of the richest men in Africa, and the only city that produced 2 of the top ten richest men on the continent.
A leading hub for textile production, with Kano's dye pits being one of the oldest and most vibrant in Africa.
Host to Kurmi Market, one of the oldest and largest markets in West Africa, known for its vibrant trade in textiles, spices, leather goods, and crafts.
A city of rich cultural heritage, boasting historical landmarks like the ancient city walls, the Gidan Makama Museum, and the Great Mosque of Kano.
A leading center for Islamic scholarship in Africa, with many prominent Islamic scholars and institutions.
Yet, despite these impressive credentials, Kano remains relatively unknown to the world-a paradox that continues to surprise me.

Some of my family came from wales and germany. Very different. Ancient ancestors crossed ocean to north america more than 300 years ago, 1736 from germany. Jesus christ watches over all people in the world!!!
