The combination of the ride between the sacred forest and the lake with that wonderful song was almost hypnotic! Well done too for rescuing voodoo from Self-satisfied western condemnation. Chapeau!
Thanks for sharing. As a Nigerian, I find the streets very clean unlike most cities in my country. Though Nigeria is a beautiful country and beautiful landscape..
Fascinating. I'm Jamaican and my DNA is primarily from Benin/Togo. Ironically my Mother is from the east in Jamaica in the parish of St. Thomas, which in Jamaican lore is the "Voodoo" capital.
Thank you so much! I cannot begin to tell you just how much this video means to me as an African in the diaspora, raised Christian and told that the voodoo religion of my people was pure evil.
I am sorry to tell you but voodoo is pure evil. I am a deliverance minister living in the Caribbean. According to the bible God says that we should worship no other god besides him. When you worship deities and idols curses come into your bloodline. We call voodoo in the Caribbean "Obeah". I have seen families who pratice obeah suffer from curses. Their children die of cancer and other sicknesses. Their children suffer from psychiatric problems and end up in the mental hospital. I would encourage everyone reading this to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and stop worshiping other gods. I love you all. God bless you

What about crocodiles @Adesuwa? 🐊 My mothers peoples in Delta State in Nigeria still worship the ancient Egyptian crocodile god Sobek which they call Iyeoji today. Something like the black one or something if the translation isn’t to me. They also worship pythons too and both animals are highly venerated and no stranger can harm them in their communities and they don’t harm human beings too. Crocodiles in all the rivers and never harming people. It’s living ancient magic. Colonialism failed to completely wipe out our ancestors way of life and I am very happy to see ancient Nigerian religion still thriving in our sister nation BenIn 🇧🇯. The Christian church there showed the failure of colonial Christianity to wipe out indigenous religions in these parts. In parts of Nigeria the colonialists made the people burn all their gods and gave them the statues that sometimes find their way to Christian European countries, the same peoples who asked or bullied some Africans from worshiping their ancient gods. Some just refused and kept their gods and identity. To loose it is to severe all ties with one’s ancestors. The very worse thing that can ever happen to Africa after slavery and colonialism. Long may voodoo worship survive for those that believe in it! Free world. ✊🏽

@Ludo, love this series. How is the garri tyre fix holding up. That was amazing just to see that quick fix. What is the underlying issue with the air leaking from the bead? I've ridden motorcycle for decades the only time I seen that is because of a defective tyre or the rim is bent. It really does not look like it is bent. Thanks
the fixing he did with the gari is still working. I don't really know what was the reason. the mechanic there told me it may be due to the road i did the previous day, long drive on a very hot asphalt, with a dry dusty tire, he told me the problem comes from the fact that the tire is dry.
