Political system. You missed the importance and acceptance of compulsory voting which means elections re won at the centre. Preferential voting is an important advantage rarely found elsewhere.

You really deserve hundreds of thousands of views on your videos. Your observations on Australian life and the collective Australian approach to things (touch one, touch all) is spot on. It must freak foreigners out that the Aussie you met 10 seconds ago is prepared to take a bullet for you to defend your right to fair treatment. Is it unique to Australian culture? I don't 100% know, but I do know that the two Australian girls who died during the London terrorist attacks sone years ago, died because instead of running away from the danger, they ran TO the carnage to administer first aid to those who had been stabbed, putting themselves in harms way. It was also described by the two Afrikaner couples who survived the Boxing Day helicopter crash on the Gold Coast a month or so ago. They were staggered that with the very real possibility of both helicopters exploding into flames, Aussies came running in from all directions to pull survivors out of the wreckage, risking their own lives in the process. Phew, that's gutsy! We also see ordinary Aussies rugby tackling thieves, knife wielding maniacs etc, pinning them down until police arrive. No such thing as bystander effect in Australia! Keep up your great work and I hope more people discover your excellent channel and the wonderful information you provide people back in SA thinking about making the move.

Hi Nicholas, thanks for your kind words and I'm glad you enjoyed our video! We just love the running to help vs running away mentality of Australians, and it makes people feel safe and welcome. I assume you are Australian? You might enjoy the video of today, our take on 5 reasons people might consider NOT moving to Australia!
