This exhibits how important the automation is.... If possible pls do a video on how you manage to set up all those libraries - I presume through via VSL Ensemble Pro....

    Thank you for posting this short preview of what you teach online and in the classroom. I grew up playing classical piano and started writing music in middle school, but I’ve never been comfortable writing melody first. When musical ideas come to me, they’re chord progressions, textures, rhythms and arrangements. Melodies rarely come to me, compared to all else.
    Is this a detriment I should strive to overcome? I don’t consider myself a very good melody writer, but maybe it’s because I’ve never really worked hard at it. I would love to know your opinion. Thank you in advance!

    • @CinematicComposing
      @CinematicComposing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The way you compose music... the small little things that make you different from every other composer, your "detriments" (as you put it)... keep them! Don't fight them. That's what makes you unique! :) Just keep composing, practice, write music worth sharing! 💪

  • @yishihara55527

    You are destroying yourselves as "composers" using DAWs and sample libraries. What you will subconsciously end up doing over time is write only for the samples that sound good, tempos that are easy to play/imagine, etc. Technology is designed for progress but in the music world it actually sets us back. Sad but true.
