Nice content & great video . I'm a new XP owner ,.. 08 MXZ TNT 500ss . What's the benefits of an R-motion skid over the stocker ? If I were to swap down the road , is there an R-motion skid in the 120's ?
Rmotion is like riding on a cloud. A lot better in the bumps and stutters. Yes they did come in 120in not sure if the track is the same between the 2 - that you would need to research yourself.
Actually that groove in the brake pad is to allow the gases that build up between brake pads and brake rotor when braking to escape so you dont get brake fade
ideally you would just get XS 129 brackets and rivit them in the same holes that the xp bracket came from. in this case the local dealer screwed up and sent me the same brackets from and xp so we just put them in the spot where the skid lined up
Its a night and day improvement over thje stock SC5 120" and I like it even better than the SC5 137" that was in my renegade - Much better on the trails and I didnt really notice any difference in the deep stuff. Thanks for watching!
I did this to my xp and when I hit big bumps the track hit the rear of the tunnel only in the center by the flap. Its bent it up. Any thing I can do about this?

Nice video but I didn't see how you determined where to relocate the rear skid mounting brackets. Is it just a measurement from old position?

2 seasons later and still working great! Did a tunnel extension (need to do this) and then added x package shocks and a tunnel adjuster for rebound

I am sure the front mount will haave to move like this. Get the skid and then see how they shape up.
