  • Learn how to set up your rMotion rear suspension correctly.
    The rMotion rear suspension from Ski-Doo is the benchmark for comfort, capability and adjustability. While it performs extremely well right out of the box, making these two or three simple adjustments will ensure it performs its best for you and your riding style in nearly every condition.

    Very good guide! Always thought it strange those pro 40's on the skid have compression but no rebound adjustment.

    My '13 Renegade with 1100 miles sags back down a bit just with it's own weight after I lift up on it, does this mean I need to stiffen it first or should i take my pre-measurement anyways?

    Do I need to remove skid to adjust torsion springs if I do not have the quick adjust on an 2018 XRS?

    Great video, however, it would be nice to see a same video for t-motion. Thanks in advance;)

    No mention of center spring preload?

    How come there was hardly ever any emphasis or information on front end SAG? I’ve heard 20% of the front shock travel, would you agree?

    Great video, but it would be nice to see how to adjust the centre shock spring and why.
    Thanks

    Can you do a video on C-Motion? That would be really great. This was helpful for my dads 2021 MXZ XRS. Would be helpful for my 2021 Backcountry XRS 146. Please and thank you!

    What do I need to adjust if I am bottoming out a lot? I am riding the 2015 Ski Doo Renegade Adrenaline 900 Ace. Please give as much detail as possible as I am new at Turing suspension but want to learn more...

    Hey guys I have a 2014 xrs 800 and I find the suspension very rough I had the dial down on 1 and I still find it very stiff and feel every bump small or big however it does only have 200km on it but should I turn it up to make it smoother? Help!

    • @RocketNothing
      @RocketNothing 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      There's no reason they wont ride smooth out the box if set up right. Hard to say what you're doing wrong from such a vague description. Which dial have you got on 1? The rear spring preload, the rear shock compression or the 5 position block for the rear spring preload? There's also centre spring preload and centre shock compression adjustments. I know the XRS has hard suspension because it's the racing setup but with everything on the skid set to softest it should be soft enough that you're bottoming it out. I think you're missing something somewhere

    As with measuring the sag and setting the spring preload on a dirt bike, the rider should be in full riding gear (boots, helmet etc.) as the extra weight will alter the height. Half full tank of gas as well to average the 'as-running' actual weight.

    My suspension sags soo much and I'm worried somethings wrong. The skidoo sits low to the point where I'm worried that my tracks is going to scrape against the tunnel and that the mudflap is too close to the ground when I sit on it.
    Anybody know what's wrong? Is this a common problem? I have a 2013 skidoo renegade backcountry x 600.
