what are the bearing numbers for the front track drive shaft? left and right side as well as idler wheels for the r-motion skid on a 2016 900 renegade. not looking for ski-doo parts number but actual bearing numbers.
6010 is the number for the left drive bearing. Left jackshaft that is pressed on the shaft is 6008 and the upper chain case is 6205. Uppers (6205) and rear idlers (6004)
Thanks for all your videos, very very informative!! Only question is with the XR is it okay to leave the sled tilted on its side for an extended period of time? Any negative effects on engine oil going where it shouldn't? Thanks again!
I just put in a new track on my 2012 polaris pro r rush 600- I went with a camso intense cross country. The arrow on the track point up towards the rad(front of the sled when i roll the track around to the back where i can see the arrow), but the labels (camso) on the track are upside-down which is throwing me off. Did I put the track on backwards? I just followed the arrows that the previous track on it had.
@@markusvt1 I know this is a very old video, but do you have to remove the driveshaft to change the driveshaft seal in the chain case? I have a 2016 Summit and it drips every so often.
Great Video! I am getting some abnormal wear on the leading edge of my drive wheels where they contact the track clips in the windows. Is this normal? When installing a track do you have to align the drive wheels into the center of the track windows, or is this an automatically aligning deal when tightening the track to the proper tension?
+axleech You need to align, (center the track) as part of the tightening process. Drive sprockets will show wear, nothing to worry about for 10K-20K+ miles.
awesome vid! I've got a 2011 GTX SE 1200, I could not get my break cover off due to the foot rest, am I going to have to drill out the rivets to remove the foot rest first?

Your videos are awesome thanks so much i wouldnt have known how to do my track change without this video!
Perfect!
Great Upload. Sure I could have figured it out, but you just made it way easy! Easy is good!
Yes, easy is good!
Great video, I've got the 2013 version, put C&A Razors on it,Evans waterless coolant, and use Shellbourne Fuels 91 enhancer.
Thanks.
Great video! Thanks!
Welcome!

Glad it was helpful!
Damn good vid and damn good background music
Thanks!

+Mike Wieland Never had an issue at all, and we have done a few of them :^)

Arrow points in the direction of travel, so looking at the top of the track, it points to the front of the sled.
Have u changed a track on four strokes if u have is there any difference thanks
Aside from the reverse on the chaincase, it is 100% the same.
Great video...what is your day job?
High tech managing and wrenching :)
Hey Markusvt1 did you change the seals in the change case for the drive shaft?
I would if it is leaking or has >10K miles, else-wise it would be fine to leave. It is a very durable seal.

It would give you a lot more room to work with.
markusvt1 yes I did have to remove that foot rest, fairly simple two10 mm bolts in the back side and two Rivet's to drill out, thanks
Is there any tricks to taking the brake pads off? That Allen head bolt just keeps spinning and spinning.
+Riley Tucker Once the threads are backed out, just give it a tug and it will come right out.
where did u find all the bolt torques for doing this? I'm doing mine this weekend.
All in the manual.
Do u have to remove the skid to remove driver shaft?
Yes for sure.
I have an 08 600rs, is it the same for that model? I would imagine so but am not sure.
Same except for the removal/install of the lower gear. You need to use the BRP tool or make one from a bolt and 2 nuts.
how do u put the rotor back on the shaft since its pressed on?
Not pressed on at all. Rotor slide on and off. Caliper is pressed on sort of, the bolts pull it back on as you tighrn them.
Do you have the part number for the brake tool??
+Rickasurus Rex 529 036145 and 529 036 150

How about 1 guy, somewhat mechanically inclined, while drinking a few beers?
On as Saturday, you can get it done :)
haha this comments worth millions

Installed Ice Ripper.
Do u have to remove the top gear in the chain case?
Makes it way easier.
