15:00 that "water" is just the same swamp from the great plateau. and yes that water was orange because of the sunset. neither of those areas were new or changed from botw, and there's multiple swamps in BOTW. link does not purify them into swimmable spaces. its meant to make you use cryonis and magnesus
I think that links hand has a certain amount of power in it, allowing him to use the green power. And the vials may recharge his hand after using the powers too much to keep it balanced. I think you’ll get more vials throughout the game allowing yourself to use the green powers more.
because it's like the magic meter of old, yes! didn't think of that until now, but absolutely. I am still convinced the energy is timeshift power like the stones in SS tho
I think that these vehicles may have like a weak point for enemies to abuse, like if they knock out the engine the vehicle might just explode that could be annoying but also a good way to balance it so you make new vehicles and protect the engine
When you look closer at 22:30 this "plug" is actually the wheel of the vehicle in the next clip. That means we somehow must find the different parts to assemble the vehicles
Yeah, probably a great way to force us to explore hyrule, with those pieces falling out of the sky, we might need to find them in rorder to craft vehicles to make our way up to the higher islands
@@BowlOSoup6661 I was thinking about changing it since I doesn't reflect my personality, for me people with gigachads pfp and names are a bit unmature but I think I've grown a lot since then
The big bat like enemies are kargoroks. In TP they were known to carry other enemies around, and there’s even the one point where Link himself gets a ride on one.
15:08 I noticed that next to the river is actually the Typhlo Ruins, except the darkness surrounding it is gone. I also think that the power energy things around Hyrule are actually TotK's version of Shrines. The one we see in Hateno village is right where the shrine in BotW was. I also don't think Zelda is going to die, I think she's that glowing figure, and her powers just grew to be able to stop Gannon, or she got Goddess Hylia's powers, as we do see in the second trailer that on the murals that Zelda was holding hands with a mysterious figure that I think is Goddess Hylia. And since Zelda is a human reincarnation of Hylia, maybe something happens underground that causes something to happen with the two.
Just a theory but... In the first "official tralier" on the stone art its shows what appears to be zelda lying down or even falling. This could be representing zelda falling in this new tralier. Later on in the first official tralier it shows zelda cupping hands with another hand. This could be refering to link holding the other figures hand in this tralier. This could mean that zelda did die and became Hylia (the endless cycle that has been already theorised) and gave her powers to link.
I do wonder whether it's actually the Goddess that Zelda is talking to here, given her connection with her after awaking to the Triforce of Wisdom in BotW. We never actually see Link with the Triforce of Courage in BotW, nor is the master sword required to beat Calamity Ganon. Maybe now that it seems the true Ganon is alive once more, Link will need the Triforce of Courage, as per previous titles.
Imagine if zelda died and we get link voice acting but its just him crying over her death and we dont get any more voice acting from him after that, i would cry so hard
That thing you were talking about a malice pool, was always on muddy hole. I recognise that little wind sticking up because I had to stand on it to use magnesis to solve a puzzle.
Ya know seeing how all enemies have all sorts of weapons stuck in them makes me think defeating them is gonna be the way to get the weapons now instead of just finding them in chests or stealing them form the enemies like before, soooooo getting weapons now might actually be harder than before and I bet they'll still break...
Love your analysis. One thing I noticed were arrows on the X,Y, Z axes on the motion control puzzles. I’m really hoping this means they came up with a more user-friendly system than the Apparatus Shrines of BOTW. 🤞
To me, the gameplay so far looks like sonic frontiers. Think about it, the floating areas in the sky resembling an ancient civilization kinda makes me think about sonic frontiers
I guess they will go with the idea of Zelda being the goddess Hylia... That's why they launched Skyward Sword. We see some glimpse of Skyloft in the trailers.
that “malice lake” at 15:31 is actually the pond on the great plateau that you can’t enter. it’s like mud lake or something. it’s right by the magnesis shrine! I think the orange color of the water was just the reflection of the sunset
No I don’t think that 13:14 has anything to do with the Yiga, if we look in the corner of the room while Link looks surprised, you can see a right side up Shiekah symbol. my theory is that Hateno Village was attacked by Ganon’s forces and they evacuated to Kakariko Village. This shot most likely involves a new set up that Purah has to help Link.
I actually think the divine beasts are returning, we haven't seen them anywhere and i feel like they wouldn't tie in to TotK's story. Plus, they have already fulfilled their duty.

The Legend of Zelda Tears of The Kingdom looks good for Nintendo Switch, and yes, we finally got to hear Ganondorf's voice. I can't wait for its May 12 release this year.
And what if that underground part with the trees and “sap sacks” is actually one of the “breath of the wild style, open” dungeons? Like this could very well be this games iteration of a forest temple, perhaps even linking to the missing Great Deku tree.
Dude, the mooks just have different horns right now, they're not weapons sticking out of their heads. And in fact, it seems like every tier of mooks will have their own horns, even among the same specie, unlike in botw.
I really can’t help but think somehow midna or her descendants might be making an appearance in the game considering the last trailer showed Zelda and another being holding an orb of some sort almost like mirroring each other
Theory time..... It could be that weapons you see sticking out of the enemies heads are there representing the weapon you previously killed it with. For example if you kill a Moblin with an axe, the next time the blood moon triggers, he returns with an axe sticking out of his head. The stronger the weapon you kill the moblin with, the stronger he becomes after the blood moon reincarnates him.
Or she could tell link to lend her his power. Maybe we will finally control Zelda and she is the one who defeats ganon once and for all at the end of the game
I’m calling it now! We can craft weapons from monster parts. Notice the bone shaped horns coming out from there heads, we will be able to use them to make weapons.
The passage when corrupted bokoblon is mining can be purely underground, and IS simply underground. The "trees" that we see are mushrooms (and they can developp underground, without light), plus, you can notice an echo when the Boko is beating this special mineral, the type of echo you have when you're in a cave, underground.
Idk if you know this, but the “malice lake” you talked about on the great plateis called a posoinis bog and was in both. Also I don't think he pulls the plug on it, I think that that's a wheel to the car thing and he is pulling it out, which would be useful info for when we play this game.
The malice lakes are just mud. We had that in the first game as well. Also, all those weird symbols are Zonai patterns. They were a warlike tribe that you can find armor of in BOTW
I dont think the plug in the water was really a plug but rather a wheel that link used to create the car, they both have the same arrow like shape on them
Theory: Link's hand is fused with ancient energy and somehow fused with the tablet he has in breath of the wild (the sheikah slate). It seems too coincidental that all of a sudden he has a new arm and the slate is missing now. Perhaps zelda has it because she is seen with it, but it's just an odd coincidence for me. The 'plug' from the lake is one of the wheels on the car btw, so your crafting theory is also pretty valid! The green stuff is interesting but it's really close to 'ancient' energy's blue color, so it'll be interesting. I don't want to really get too far into it because i am trying to preserve that surprise factor.... thankfully there's nothing in the trailers that really reveals much.
15:10 the second shot Is of the muddy area on the great plateau next to the magnesis shrine. Mud was in the first game and it’s definitely different from the orange river.
I had a random thought while listening to Ganon being more active in destroying Hyrule but what if Ganon on occasion sent his own phantom to threaten us as an invasive force.
If we don't actually get to see rehydrated Ganon, that voice over gives me a bit of a sence for Link's very first big boss: Demise. If the theme is "rebirth and death", along with the Master Sword being so decayed (which if most who played Skyward Sword remember, it sealed away Demise), if the amount of malice from the mummified Ganon was plenty enough for Demise it would make sense that he brings about his ultimate revenge. The mummified version Ganon is but a vessel for Demise to use for his plans if we don't even get to see him given that Ganon reincarnated so many times over and gave in to hatred more and more. Just a thought though.

23:03 okay but i need to know what's going on with those GIANT HOLES IN THE ROCKS just to the right of Mt. Lanayru ! Near the Pillars of Levia I'm guessing???? The words of Tears of the Kingdom could mean that sells actually dies in this game and the kingdom in a ways in tears of her death so you could be right about that.
Dude, I commented on a previous video of yours but the parallel theory you gave (or time) looks correct. Notice when Link stands on his first "fast travel" and the robot arms come up it goes to a bright blue sky thereafter. ... Blood moon like with Mask...end times and limited. Maybe Link has to hurry through to another portal back to light.. then back again. I think you may have called it correctly! Think Mask but instead of only the ocarina there are travel points. To a 2 + dimensional time traveler the world is parallel.. so to speak.

23:03 okay but i need to know what's going on with those GIANT HOLES IN THE ROCKS just to the right of Mt. Lanayru ! Near the Pillars of Levia I'm guessing???? INTERESTING to me that Kakariko/Sheikah are so tied to the guardians and ancient tech and we haven't seen that area much in trailers at all 🫢🫢🫢
Craft a car??? I want to craft a Shiekah Tank!
those "underground" trees.. they look like the trees in the golden realm in SNES link to the past.
It looks like you were right about the Yoshie course in Mario kart deluxe good call.
they should add a climbing set that lets you climb during the rain
1:28 ...flying Lizalfos?? THAT LOOKS LIKE A FLYING LIZOLFOS TO YOU????!?!? WTF do you not see a flying frog?? lmoa
Thats a tyre for the land vehicle he pulls out of the water, not a plug.
Great video though! Loads of things I hadn't noticed. Thanks!
18:41 it looks like the Elephant divine beast but in a different mode.
I think the square is Lomei labyrinth island and the orange light is some form of ancient Sheikah enemy
4:16 I think that square is just Lomei Labyrinth Island
15:45 I think the stuff on there heads will change because of its rarity
