I have such a history with this bag that goes all the way back to 2017 . Due to wear and tear issues I now have the new zipper version and you are 100% right , I wear mine all the time and a lot more than 2 times per week ,atleast in the past 2 months I’ve worn it alot ! I also have 2 in the larger PM size ,1 in reverse monogram and 1 in the limited edition Infarouge (black & red canvas )that I love just as much for those times when I need that extra bit of room . At 1 time I even had the reverse mini , but I definitely grabbed for the regular mono way more and I have since sold the reverse mini . I was able to find mine in 2019 online at about 4am in the morning , so in the middle of the night is definitely a great tip ! Thanks for sharing , enjoy that cutie ! For sure my favorite bag of all my luxury bags, hands down ! 🥰🥰

I also have a vintage 1997 Montsouris GM backpack that is style going , I use it mainly for travel , the straps are super comfy and I also have the LV sperone regular size not the BB and it’s so beautiful with rose ballerine microfiber interior but because the interior is microfiber if I fill that one to the brim it can be uncomfortable on my shoulders because it has thinner vachetta leather straps . Wish it had the webbed style straps like on my Montsouris gm , but you can’t have it all right? lol ! I also have some Lv totes a beautiful Chanel GST tote , and Lv petit Noe , my collection isn’t insane like it used to be , I have down sized so much recently . Going with “Less Is More” mentality
@@leeleelv You really are a backpack lover! The rose ballerine interior is beautiful but I'm such a klutz I don't think I could maintain a light colored interior that well. I love to stuff my backpacks too! Larger backpacks are so much more comfortable when the straps are thicker. We're definitely on the same wavelength when it comes to collection size. There are only so many days a year that you can wear bags so I'd much rather a smaller collection that I absolutely love and can wear often for a long time.

I loved your video! I just got the Palm Springs Mini this weekend! I am currently in Paris so I went to the Louis Vuitton at Galeries Lafayette and asked for the sake of asking and they told me that it wasn't available but then they gave me a list of like 4 other Louis stores in Paris that had it and luckily the closest one was only a 30 minute walk from where I was. So, since it was a sunny day, I walked to the store and it was there

Hi Kate! I see myself wearing this long term because it is a very convenient secure bag that I use for so many occasions (errands/travel/vacation) and can throw around without worrying about wear and tear. At least for the next 10-15 years I do see myself continue to wear this consistently and it works particularly well with my casual off-duty style. Since the straps are convertible to a handbag style, I think it can transition with my style when I'm older, but I don't expect to get as much use after 20 years or so. I wouldn't put this in the same class as a forever classic bag like the Chanel classic flap, but the reason I think it is worth the money for me is due to how much use I have gotten (and expect to get out of it in the next 10-15 years), quality of the bag, and the ability to resell this in the future at a reasonable price. Have you had a chance to see this bag in person yet? I think it is really helpful to make your decision once you start seeing the bag on your body and think about how functional it is with your daily style. Hopefully this helps you with your decision!

Thank you for the video and review, very helpful. The current 2022 model runs for $2,440. they hiked them up in price a little bit since you got yours in 2019! But it has some slight differences, like the main zipper is no longer concealed and the leather is a tiny bit thicker - IMHO the new one looks slightly better overall! They also made the straps a bit easier to operate - a huge plus! My local store had one today and I picked it up for my wife after watching your review :) I'll surprise her with it later! For now its hiding in my closet :D

Hi Anne! Did you purchase it from the Louis Vuitton store directly or a third party resale website? If purchased from LV you could ask the Sales assistant you purchased from directly to see if the straps were missing. However, if you purchased online from a reseller, it may be that they didn't fully authenticate the bag and you might be able to contact customer service and challenge the authentication of the bag. The only reason I can think of is that in the newer models of the Palm Springs they may have changed the location of the date code. If you're looking to make sure, you can try to go to an LV store to see if they can help you authenticate the bag. Hopefully this helps!

Hi Jade! You may be able to get a dustbag replacement by going to a retail store and bring in the bag/reciept to show that you purchased it directly. If you want to replace the dust bag, as long as you find a dust bag larger than the bag measurements (6.7"L x 8.7"H x 3.9"W) then it should work well! Alternatively you can also use a spare 100% cotton pillowcase to store your bag.

So recently, they've actually updated their bags to include RFID chips so that you won't see any date codes. However, stores will be able to find it and scan it to get all the information. How have you been enjoying your bag?
Hi there Diana! Mine was actually made in Spain. I think there is a wear and tear chapter in this video and nothing has changed since filming, even though I’ve been using it very consistently.
That's a great point! For my bag the small front pouch zipper logos lined up quite well but the main zipper does not. Based on my research, there can be some small inconsistencies in LV bags in their production, so misaligning logos can happen. If this bag was readily available I definitely would have taken my time finding a bag that had the logos lined up but because it is so hard to find I didn't think too much of it. If you're using this as an indicator of a real vs fake I definitely wouldn't use it as a sole factor, I would weigh the materials used and the date code more highly.

So recently, they've actually updated their bags to include RFID chips so that you won't see any date codes. However, stores will be able to find it and scan it to get all the information. How have you been enjoying your bag?

Hi there Diana! Mine was actually made in Spain. I think there is a wear and tear chapter in this video and nothing has changed since filming, even though I’ve been using it very consistently.

That's a great point! For my bag the small front pouch zipper logos lined up quite well but the main zipper does not. Based on my research, there can be some small inconsistencies in LV bags in their production, so misaligning logos can happen. If this bag was readily available I definitely would have taken my time finding a bag that had the logos lined up but because it is so hard to find I didn't think too much of it. If you're using this as an indicator of a real vs fake I definitely wouldn't use it as a sole factor, I would weigh the materials used and the date code more highly.

@@StylemeWorthit girl I was in lv store and I asked them to showed me this bag because it’s kind of "trend" these days to wear this palm spring bags they showed me and I was left shock of how small it’s was and I didn’t even know how you could fit your water bottle inside the bag can’t even fit a Louis Vuitton wallet inside the bags itself
Then I continually showed them the same image in google wears girl sort of trying to make this bag look big Etc by placing a lot of stuff in it I was no I want this size... because on my phone this kinda bag sort of look bigger on phone screen and my sales person sort of laughed hes was like it’s was this one... I was shock with the lie girl trying to make it look big on yt Lmaoo I kind of embarrassed as well
@@Masha-kd2im haha yes you definitely have to be a master at organizing stuffing your bags to be able to maximize the space out of this one. If you’re still looking for a backpack but want a size up you can try the montsouris PM it might fit more of what you want.
