Great review, Minnie! This was my first LV purchase and I have this bag in the reverse monogram with the original zipper design. Love love love this bag. I must be in the minority bc fortunately I haven’t had any issues with the zipper. Mine opens smoothly. I actually prefer this design over the newer version with exposed zipper.

I use the small pocket for the same exact things, except I leave it open. And that works. The items won’t fall out because of that flap❣️😍

great vid. I had mine chged due to flaking of the glazing. 😭love this bag but I totally agree that it gives me anxiety opening/closing. Nonetheless no regrets buying it. never used the tiny pocket too hun! 🥰💕very functional in terms of the amount of things that it can hold
I love this bag so much, packs a punch and don’t need to worry about canvas being damaged . The zipper I agree is difficult to open so I ended up putting a ring charm which makes it easier to open now lol. So yea I totally love this back pack till death and it will definitely stay with me for Long term 🥰.
I never like this bag until I saw your review and modelling shots. Looks very good on you. Now I am thinking of buying the new version one. Never imagine to want it all along. You have a convincing power lol.

It's similar to the Palm Springs mini, but slightly bigger and has a clasp closing instead of a zip closing.
You can also carry it multiple ways like the palm springs. Its adorable! And I highly reccomended it!! 👍 I was looking into possibly buying the Palm Springs, but once I saw the Clapton, I knew the Palm Springs was a goner 😂

If you have an extra LV lock and key, attaching the lock to the zipper is a LIFESAVER-So much easier to zip/unzip the bag when pulling the lock vs pulling the little zipper tab. Scratching the zipper tab is minimal too. Highly recommend, Minnie!

I have the old version as well but made late last year, the zipper wasn’t that fuzzy compare to my palm spring pm which was made early 2019. I feel like the old version but made late last year wasnt too bad. I used my Mini more than my PM because of the zipper and mini is just so darnie cute!! 🥰

I bought this bag before, after watching your review, haha... I put a keychain on the zipper and it makes it easier to use, not fuzzy at all. I put my pillbox in the front compartment.
So glade I waited and bought the new version. It’s so easy to open and close. I think they LV so get rid of that extra flap in the tiny front pocket too. Why do it for the main compartment but not the little one as well?
For me the hidden zipper is a pro than a con, just because since it sits on your back, pickpocket wont be able to open it easily 😅

If u look inside the rings of the bag you will notice reverse canvas in the inside of the hoop well at least on the newer version I wounded if the older version is same

Hi, I have a question: I have been looking for crossbody bags that can be use as a handbag, like the Gucci Marmont Small/Medium, Chanel boy bag, etc. What are you top favorites or do you have any bags that you can recommend that can serve both purposes without the strap being too long. I am 5'1 and I find most crossbody bags too long for me if I wear them on my arm. I'm looking for something with the double strap that can be worn both ways but doesn't hang down past my hips. I have the Chanel WOC and its so long on my crossbody that I usually double up the strap to make it short and wear it on my shoulder. Hoping you have a few bag suggestions I can take a look at! Thanks!

Hi! Love your videos and I recently subscribed to your channel! In regards to this video I have to tell you I purchased the Palm Springs mini the new version with the padded straps, I have to say is very comfortable to wear BUT that little pocket.... is completely useless, if I use it my fingers get murdered every time... I have been debating if I should return it because I do love pockets and this backpack doesn’t offer that... I would pretty much just keep it because is cute... I don’t know I’m torn, but my question to you is if the bag wasn’t a gift to you, would you have purchase it? ..... by the way I love your videos!!!! I’m stalking for new ones (not in a creepy way) haha

I love this bag so much. I love the look of the old version. The new zipper doesn’t appeal to me. I have the infrarouge mini. I just wished the loops where the straps hang were thicker. I didn’t mind the fraying, I’m just scared it’s on the verge of ripping off. Bottom loops were fine, but the top loops are starting to stretch and feel thin. I’m scared to ask a boutique to repair it cause they might just offer a replacement to which I don’t want... cause I love the older zipper look, on top of that... it was the limited edition infrarouge one 🥺

Love your bag! have the reverse monogram that I bought 2 years ago. The leather loops on the back where the hook go for the straps are starting to rip off in the edges. 😭 I did use this bag the most out of all my bags though. By far my favorite!!!!

V ROB mine is made in USA and nothing wrong with it. I seen some MIF and they complain the bottom zipper isn’t smooth like the top but mine is smooth .

The straps drive me nuts when I need to adjust them and it’s not often I need to do it. I love using it cross body. I like to wear it side ways on my hip. I use one hook at the top and one at the bottom. I rotate all 4 hooks.
Hi Mink, you mentioned in the video that if you’d like, you could bring this older version to the LV store and trade it for a newer version. Could you tell more on what is the process of doing so? and yes i agree with you regarding the open zipper, that is the only con i’ve found about this bag, other than that love love love ❤️

I’ve been in love with the PSM forever every time I go to purchase one it’s unavailable and I refuse to purchase from the preloved market or personal shopper oh but one day I will own one.Great video Minnie very informative thank you.
If you stalk the website you can find one fairly easily. It only took me 3 days of serious searching to get one.
Also, I suggest following LV CAs on IG. They post bags they have in stock and you can order from them. They often have PSMs for sale.

I feel the pain I am also in the same spot I’ve been trying to buy this bag since October when I was over in Italy no luck drove me nuts. ever since I’ve been back to the states nothing I keep checking the website and check it every day and it says call for availability. I have even set up notices, nothing. I’m going to try to reach out to an sa here in Portland Oregon and see what happens but just with the whole virus thing I don’t know if I’ll get it anytime soon😢 GOOD LUCK hope you get yourself soon 🍀 also I agree. I’m not buying it preloved either. They want too much. Prefer to wait.

I agree about the little pocket. I have the new style and I am really struggling to love it because of that dang little pocket. It just isn't functional and it really frustrates me because of the price tag of this bag!
Awesome awesome review!!! I also bought the mini Palm spring almost 3 years ago as a 40th bday to myself. We don’t have a boutique in our city so my hubby n I drove down to MN, but I do still get worried about the stuff that might happen to the bag because of the issues that I have been watching. And the funny thing is I do have a CA in Canada n I told him about what if I come across an issue with this bag etc and he said I could send it but I do have to pay if I were to get it repaired. But my CA in MN said I shouldn’t worry because they’ll take care of it which made me feel relieved but having said that I have to drive for 8 hours to pick it up if ever. It’s a great bag but it’s hard not to worry about the issue.

Hey ! just want to say this was my dream bag for years and i was never able to afford it because its a crazy price but i eventually had enough money to get this baby last year for my birthday ! I still love it today and i have the older one (aka the hidden zipper) and i prefer this one too especially bc i never had a problem with the zipper. So don't give up it took me years to finally get it, you will get yours too !

Kelly F I’ve been eyeing the Croisette for a while, but I think the YSL LouLou (small) and the Gucci Marmont Camera Bag (small) are better suited for everyday use, compared to the Croisette. Just my opinion. Good luck on choosing the best bag for you!
I find this a bit fussy to access while you're wearing it but i like my stuff inside lined up vertically too. And so you have to put stuff on top of each other unless you will only put card case, keys and the rest are soft and can be on the bottom. But this is still more good looking than the croisette.

Minnie, im 5'5" too and weigh 140 but I think this bag looks tiny on my frame. I purchased it from my SA in Vegas so I didn't try it first. I am thinking of returning it. if you don't mind me asking, what do you weigh?
I don’t know if this is too late to say or not but I’m around 5’7 and weigh 200+ I know the bag is mini but I LOVE it so much. If it makes your heart sing keep it. If you really feel like it is uncomfortable because of your frame to the point where you won’t enjoy it return it. ♥️

I have the new version and my wallet was stolen out of it within some seconds as the zipper is so smooth. I only wear the bag on my left shoulder crossbody but the zipper ends on the right side of the bag, there's no way I can wear the PSM NM without worrying pickpockets..

I have been very disappointed in my PSM. I have owned it a little over a year, and I have a lot of bags so don’t use it a lot. So far I have loss of some of the glazing on the black strap holders, fraying of the small tabs, and white wear on the lip over the main zipper that makes me feel like it will crack/peel. I have brought it into the store and been told it’s normal.
