It's good to know what to look for so you don't pay thousands for a a fake one but man! If you have to scrutinize a bag this close to see whether it's real or not, it makes you wonder if paying thousands of dollars is worth it. Also, the fake one looks kinda nicer. Thank you for the review.
Agree. As a non elite and ordinary person, we just want a durable bag in a reasonable price. So having this fake bag is not a big deal at all.
I have an authentic and after time they darken so cant even tell the difference now
the fake is getting better and better cause its actually the cost of it for them to make it is the same cost of the authentic ones and i also notice that luxury bag now has poor quality issues..

Ya it’s so shiney but you can see the quality in the stitching is a lot nicer on the shiney one. If you pause it at 1:16 you can see a huge difference in the bottom left of the front pocket on the fake one the stitching looks wonky, that shit don’t fly at Louie

Lv isn’t as consistent as it used to be so wonky stitching happens with authentics as well. Alignment on the psm made from USA has also been incorrectly made. I’d rather buy a fake even though I own authentic lv pieces unless the quality of Louis Vuitton goes up again, but I don’t see that happening.
When it comes to LV canvas , the authenticity is always in the feel if you know the brand . Pictures today and even videos , unless you know exactly what to look for and how it should feel , the untrained person would have a very difficult time being able to tell these 2 apart , with LV quality not being what it once was ,it definitely has to be that much more difficult . Very informational for the person that truly doesn’t know the brand .
Thanks for this vid!! Been wanting a palm spring mini but can’t get my hands on one. I’ve considered buying second hand. I found one that looks promising however, the seller’s date tag is in a different location than the one in your authentic Palm Springs mini. She said it’s from 2018. Does the location ever change depending on the year the bag was made?
When I was in the LV store a month ago, I had my choice of the PSM made in Spain and France.
If you are in America, there is a chance you are getting a Made in USA one. I’ve heard these ones tend to have more issues, so would recommend a Made in Spain or France one if you can

I personally think LV need to step up on their products, they charge enough for them! By having a hologram authenticity or something unique on their bags. Because counterfeits are getting better. 😲
The only way to guarantee its authenticity is from buying it yourself from L.V directly.
The fake one looks a-lot more authentic than the one you are calling authentic. The monogram looks way too bright and yellow on the “real” one. I have real Louis bags bought directly from LV stores and none of them are THAT bright. Just sayin….

Depop or DHgate. I recommend DHgate. You’ll be wearing weeks/months for it but it will be worth it, I’m sure. Just do your research first. I.e read reviews/ask seller for photos etc and don’t go for the first seller you see 😊

My Palm Springs mini just arrived from the LV online shop and it looks like the fake one. It’s smells like plastic. I bought the nano speedy and it has a leathery LV smell. I’m concerned now.
Hi there. The Palm Springs is made from Canvas not leather so it won’t smell very much like leather. If you ordered from Louis Vuitton directly you should be fine :)

Handbagholic I sent it back. The handle are leather so the leather components shouldn’t smell of plastic. It has more leather than a nano and just smells gross.
I bought a LV Neverfull in Damier and it also smelled like plastic. I returned it. LV quality is not what it used to be that’s why réplicas look just as nice but cheaper.

Just via a local website for pre-owners - there were several red flags I ignored( like she did not appear herself and sent her "sister" instead, she wouldn't pick up the phone saying she couldn't talk right now... I am now only realizing how smart these people are. Still shocked( But hey, it's okay - someone worked on this bag too, maybe someone who had to feed his/her family... I will keep it anyway just as a lesson for me. This situation definitely made me think about the fashion industry in general.

i got the palm springs mini and its made in the u.s that looks like the fake one you got ebay .. and had to return it cause of so much quality issue you cant really tell anymore cause alot of replica bags are good quality than authentic ones

Can’t believe how many people are asking for the fake one!!! What’s the point of getting a fake? If you like the design then support the brand, if you don’t wanna pay so much money then look into getting something similar from a cheaper brand. Not only selling fakes is illegal, it also make you look stupid in my personal opinion. If I can’t afford something I really like then I won’t get a fake just because I want it, it’s not fair for the designers and the seamstresses that work on those bags. Also, if you just wanna flex you got a designer bag then you have the wrong mindset.
Hi Herdzale, I agree. I know some people love fakes because they're a lot more affordable, but to me, they're a waste of money. You can't re-sell them, they aren't worth anything but they're still expensive and you have no idea what potential criminal gangs use this money to fund. I have fakes and real. I use the fakes when I don’t feel comfortable taking it out that day and same with jewelry. Celebrities do it all the time. Personally I think it’s smarter.
