Yes! Super light touch especially left hand. Most people would do like you do. That's so normal. That's why guitar playing is so difficult if you want to make sounds so special.

Yes, both of you are correct by saying why should I have to sound like some one who is already great at what their doing, in this case of course Dereck Trucks who actually had to fill in for the late and great Duane Allman and then adding his own style into the process. What I believe Ahren is trying to say, is instead of the slide try using your fingers instead and build up and create something a little different and unique. Again thanks for sharing! Cheers
