"Take My Love" I first heard on 94Q back then, as well as on the Weather Channel's "Local Forecasts." "Sellin' The Store" was also featured on an episode of Miami Vice called "Florence Italy" from 2-14-86.

The ultimate 1980s sax.
I picked this up in the dollar bin at my local record store because I thought the cover was cool and I LOVE the saxophone. What a great find, I love it.
Surely when they were creating these masterpieces they knew that decades later someone might stumble upon it and appreciate just what they were about...and here we are, this couldn't be any more what it is. 8D
‘One Tear’ has a film noir-ish feeling. I like! ❤
Sellin’ the Store is outrageously funky
Take My Love might be my favorite song of this genre/era. An absolute masterpiece and the only album that I have backup copies of.
Cliff is a Grammy nominated composer, video editor , adding to hs recording artist repitore . He has recieved a Emmy, Telly and numerous Addy awards. His credits include; The Sorpranos, Espn ,CNN, The Weather Channel,Budweiser, Microsoft and Best Western just to name a few. Great sound from a great time in jazz.
Sellin' The Store is my favorite track. This album is really under the radar.
I love this cover. It reminds me of the excitement of going into "The City" to see a show or art gallery with my folks when I was a kid in the late 80s.

I remember this album for its creative cover and energetic tunes! The artwork and design mean so much. Not unlike the others, I loved the tune "Take My Love;" it's a real keeper. Looking at Mr. Sarde's cd cover and hearing the songs on the project really makes you appreciate not only the great music of the Eighties but also the distinctive and unique illustrations that graced the album covers. It's truly an art form that gave another dimension to the joy of the music itself. Thanks again for another musical home run, Kyle--not to mention, a great cover.😊 Blessings to you & all!

I bought this brand new and sealed on vinyl a couple years ago and sadly the first track has a skip. Bought a 2nd copy brand new and same thing. Probably a factory flaw in the vinyl pressing. So glad to be able to finally hear the whole album
