This news could change everything about the premium AS credit card for me. Especially if we're talking companion pass on miles internationally, which are already a great deal. If it is cash for the companion pass, then miles to top off the difference, maybe not. Even cash domestically with AA would be worth the $395. We're going to be flying directly with Alaska, LAS to ATL, or LAS to Honolulu every year, so it even makes sense with Alaska itself.
The news about the companion pass on Alaska sounds very promising. If you can, let’s say get a 40,000 point credit towards an international business class flight on condor or some other partner…? That would be pretty slick.

So it sounds like there will be two, one on Anniversary, and another on Spend. The Spend one sounds like the bigger one…
