3:10 - How did they finish off the bottom under the porch, to hide the flashing tape? That's what I need to know. I need to re-do my french door with a sill plan because I've got some leaking coming in the corners of my door.
What's the process to do something similar in a finished shed with electrical wire and insulation already installed (going from standard shed door to French doors)? Thanks!
Does anyone know when I’m preparing the cut out 72x80 steel French doors. I have two plates 2x4s still part of new framing. Do I cut both out or leave one for the Threshold? Any comments??
That was a non-realistic view of installing double doors. I'm sure they try to oversimplify it so more people think it's easier than it is. Most door openings aren't square or level and even if you made your own openings the dimensional lumber you get from the big box stores the lumber is pathetic at best. So you won't end up with a precise square and level opening.
I am Shocked Lowe' would post a Video, that is FLAWED! These open IN instead of OUT. So, you have a couple of feet of usable space behind the door swing area. You can't even put a she shed table in the middle of the room!
"Aluminum is the American and Canadian spelling for the silver-white metallic element (number 13 on the periodic table) abundant in the earth’s crust. Aluminium is the preferred spelling outside North America. Neither term is superior to the other, and both are etymologically and logically justifiable." 🤓
I wish all instructional videos were this comprehensive and concise

The only type of commercials Lowes particularly has
wait so the shims around the door stay there forever? or do they come off when using the foam spray?
They stay there forever. The foam is a sealant but the shims are what hold the door in place.
What are they called or does anyone know where you can get french doors that are already on a frame ready to fit in ?

3 -5-6-7-8 boom you have a finish shed!
Now offer them where they swing outward, and you have a customer.
You think maybe they installed it backwards?
Exactly doors must with out on the shed
Why would you want your doors to open in ? Bad idea.
A door that opens in has the hinge pins on the inside, preventing someone from the outside from removing them
@@pinupspanky It's a shed. Nobody, I mean, nobody put doors swinging in for sheds
can you hire Lowes do this for customers????
I wish

What's aluminum. Do you mean aluminium.
