2024 Lexus GX 550 | Atomic Silver | Premium Plus & Overtrail

Again I really fell for Atomic and I wanted to focus some on what I believe is a Premium Grade vs the Overtrail. Luckily I got a bit of both.

i normally don't like silver....but that atomic silver looks great on the gx. it almost has a nickel hue to it...? also Nori green is 🔥

This new GX is breathtaking. I saw one in a really pretty cloudburst grey, and this interior but had a panoramic sunroof like the Venza. I instantly thought of I had to get another vehicle if anything happens to my RX this would definitely be in the lineup in black with the brown interior.
Nice! That looked like a Luxury Plus in nebula gray over to the side. Can’t wait to see it.
The 2 tone seats are growing on me. Would’ve preferred all one color or an additional tan colorway
There's a lot of cheap interior plastic for what will be a $80k SUV.

Toyota/Lexus has done a great job with this 550. I like the fact that the "boxy" rugged look is more pronounced. Hence the reason the 2024 4Runners are still sharp rugged looking SUV's that stand out in a sea of monotonous rounded, low-to-the-ground crossover//SUV's.
So glad they kept this color around for the new gx

Those 20inch rims are horrible i hope they change them when they go into production. For a 65-70k car the rims needs to look better than that hot garbage.
Exterior looks great while the interior looks only ok but for a Toyota and not a Lexus. Interior looks cheap and not luxurious at all.

The exterior is great! But, The interior is inferior. It looks pathetic.
As long as I can get one in dark green with a tan or peanut butter leather

I absolutely love the new GX overtrail! For my personal taste, I think the interior is great. Kudos to Lexus for not falling into the trap of putting a ridiculously huge center stack screen that stands up 6" above the dash. I hate that current trend in "luxury " autos. I hate anything sticking up above the dash because it interferes with visibility. People are trashing Lexus for the new interior not being"nice" enough. I personally think it is just right. Thanks for the video.
Overtrail looks great but no third row? Fail.
You mentioned those are prototypes. I think those are no longer considered prototypes.
They are prototypes and won’t be sold to the public.

MAZDA CX90 HAS BETTER INTERIOR THAN LEXUS GX550 OR TOYOTA CROWN IS WAY BETTER INTERIOR. WHAT HAPPENED TO LEXUS? WHERE IS THEIR SIGNATURE WHERE THEY STAND OUT.

Awesome! Not sure if I like the body colored mirrors and door handles more than the black??? Usually I would always prefer color matched paint, but the Overtrail looks fantastic. Or does it? lolol. Overtrail with color matched door handles. Perfect.
I agree with you on the confusion. I like both. Traditionally I like body color but my tastes must be changing
Beautiful car but I don’t like the V6
I am the biggest lover of V8's but since when is a twin-turbo V6 a bad thing? Especially a modern Lexus version! People just have a hard time letting go of old school ideology and preconceived notions. These aren't turbo's from the 80's!

The dash cluster reminds of the 2023 KW truck. It has a very close resemblance in opinion

Just realized the front and rear lower bumper is different in overtrail and regular models (additional silver plate look vs just black), that gives the overtrain little more aggressive look. When I looking at the premium model in local dealership recently, I felt like some muscular look is missing and finally I find out, hope we can replace the bumper later to get that aggressive look in regular models.

@@miked6523 The new one has 50 more hp and even more importantly 150 more Torque, PLUS a much better transmission. Night and day difference in power and acceleration in both casual driving and pedal to the metal.

exterior gets an A, interior gets a C-. color schemes are pathetic.
Color schemes are perfectly suitable for this tough yet beautiful vehicle. Silver or white or Nori green, maybe even the dark blue with the Saddle tan interior is fantastic. It's not a sports car...if you are looking for candy apple red with white interior look elsewhere.
@kevinbreese5739 He's right about the interior choices. The colors are lacking and the two tone seats are tacky.
