I am telling this based on my past experience with VW Polo GT TDI, you cannot drive this car sedately 😂. You will feel like revving it. This is a very true review. We can't expect more than 8.5kmpl. Heck, even i20 CVT cant give more than 7-8kmpl in the city.
Great ubiased video... At last someone spoke the truth. I hope VW & Skoda improves the mileage in their new models. 6.5 kmpl is too expensive. Maybe its not the car to be driven in bumper to bumper traffic.
True man it is not meant to be driven in bumper to bumper traffic at all. Or else you will ended up paying more then car itself in running cost in decade time.

Half of the kms covered just for fun due to very low running cost and just enjoying smooth silent and quick drive it has to offer due to being an EV.
I own a virtus gt + MT and polo 1.2 MPI. I get both my cars filled with 91 octane 4 tanks 2 each and i get them filled before the reserve lights comes so polo takes 3300 max for polo plus 2 bottles of proctane 580 each and virtus gt takes 3500 max 2 bottles of proctane 580 each total comes around 15920 16k aprox on fuel and i get 500-580 pure city in virtus gt and 400-500 in polo so all together i get 11-13km/l in virtus gt and 10-12km/l in polo.. dsg gives less fuel economy when the car is new while MT gives good average from day 1 guess. The day i got my car i got a fuel economy of 19km/l on medium highway traffic. I drive sedately 90% of the time thats why i get good fuel efficiency seriously GT MT gives better fuel efficiency compared to dsg in city. With time you will get better fuel efficiency. Btw black GT looks crazy my family doesn't approves black car otherwise i would have gone for black gt
My Taigun 1.5DSG getting mileage of 7 to 8.5 km/l in bumper-to-bumper traffic, 11 km/l in medium traffic, and 17 to 19 km/l on highways. same for other cars as well in this segment. Unfortunately, there are no vehicles that offer excellent mileage in both city traffic and on highways except Hybrids,EVS..

I think there is going to be no substitute for diesel engine in terms of power+efficiency combined.
