Thank you so much for talking about the Final Cut Pro app working on the iPad mini seven. I think you’re the first presenter to talk about this important issue. Thank you.😃👍
I have a Mini 6 cellular and now got a Mini 7 cellular. It’s my favorite on the go device after the iPhone. For GPS/CarNav, drone flying, and doing basic work on the go the Mini 6/7 cellular is the best.
Same here… Had to mini 6 in 256 gig cellular and order the 512 gig mini 7. It’s definitely my daily driver sometimes over my iPhone 16 Pro Max, which my mini 6 will be my on the go device or like you said using it as a GPS and other basic needs and the mini 7 will be for home use especially for business and some lite power usage.
I am so happy to see Final cut pro working on Ipad MINI 7, really happy to know that y0u spoke about editing in this Ipad,, KEEP IT UP.,Love from INDIA
I can’t believe they didn’t mention this…. I was just about to buy the Mini 6….. You are an amazing TH-camr and you will become top 10 I believe in you.
I would have bought the mini immediately if it had support for the Apple pencil 2 that I got with my iPad Pro 2018. That would have been so easy to do for Apple.
Just bought the iPad mini 7 mainly for content consumption but it looks like I can actually get some serious video editing done on it now if I grab Final Cut Pro & connect it up to my 4K monitor, mouse & keyboard. Thanks for sharing. Subscribed.
@@rorobeckley It was worth the wait. People spent 499.00 for a mini 6 with 64 gig. There was a 150.00 difference between that and 256 gig. On the new I pad there is a 100.00 difference. I bought the 256 gig as I plan to have this iPad a long time. My 128 gig mini 4 lasted 9 years. With AI, you don't know how much memory the other apps are going to eat up so you are covered in that regard.
Wish Apple added more high resolution cameras to IPad Mini 7 so it can function as a secondary camera device. It’s not as bulky as the bigger IPads so it’s manageable. But I guess doing that would impact IPhone sales.
Agreed! There’s still so much they could have upgraded but it’s a constant juggling act for Apple not to harm their own product sales. I forgot which model but there was a year the iPad mini had the same specs as the larger iPad and the mini outsold it. The mini has been vastly underpowered ever since lol
very informative and well put togather. definitely give us some full on video editing episodes. and one thing that makes me not use Resolve on the mini, is the virtecal video editing workflow. do you have any suggestions?😶
Thanks I appreciate it! I’m working on some more in depth editing videos as well so stay tuned. As far as vertical editing workflow, I’m still figuring that out myself. I’ll share if I figure out a better method.
I got the 512GB WiFi/cellular. Wanted more space since I’ll be doing more productive work and first time in a while I did cellular for an iPad because I feel it makes more sense to have it for the mini.
I’ve had only a few crashes so far that were mainly from pushing it too far with some effects like intense noise reduction or a lot of motionvfx texts. Or trying to see if auto captions worked. Also all this done in 4K projects. It’s been pretty steady when working in HD
Salute King, great video. Thank You for diving deeper into the features that I haven't really seen many other creators speak about. Continue Being Great. #NewSub #YoungSinbadlol
Just finished editing a project on a 128gb Mini 7 in FCP and worked like a charm. I’d recommend working off a drive if you can if the file sizes are large. But if not you’ll just have to be smart about how you manage the rest of your storage.
for my use case of reading pdfs, gaming like Marvel Snap and Ragnarok and light video editing on Capcut / Final Cut Pro, Goodnotes along with web surfing of course, which memory should I get? im torn between 256 and 512
I’d say look at your usage now if you are upgrading from another iPad, and that usually will help gauge which choice is best. But for me personally, I always recommend going for higher storage when it comes to editing videos. With how high-resolution video clips are these days, it can eat into your storage quickly, and having some extra cushion relieves that stress and future-proofs your investment a little more.
May you make an in-depth video of how fluent it is editing videos at 8k. What's the max the ipad mini can handle, and it's battery consumption as well. This will convince me or many of us whether it's worthy of a purchase.

He definitely is! Finally a video that actually gives some great info! Thank you!!
Of course! I knew if I was excited about it, others would be too!
I'm here for Davinci. You win the iPad Mjni 7 TH-cam war. Keep pushing videos about how well it works and you will gain many viewers.
Oh awesome thanks for that! I will definitely keep them coming!
I’ve watched like 20 iPad mini 7 videos and you brought up multiple cool facts about the device that others did not!
Thanks! Figured if I found these features important, someone else might too!

Of course! Glad I could share some insight.
Great info thanks for the video. I already got mine, but it makes me feel even better now.
No problem!
Watching this on my mini 7, an upgrade from my mini 4.

Can we get a Final Cut Pro review for iPad mini 7?
On the list!

What storage option did you go with?

Does it crash often? I have found my ipad mini 6 has a lot of crashes with Davinci Resolve

How much memory space you need to run FCP. Is 128gb sufficient. 256gp cost more 100$. Thanks

@@rorobeckley Thank you so much.
Wow finaly a review i really looking for, but one question, can it use the Face Refinement effect ? And how about export setting?
Thankyou in advance
I’ll try all those out in the next one!
Great video man! If you’re ever in NY or Nashville, lmk. Would love to collaborate
Appreciate it! That sounds awesome and likewise if you’re ever in LA

Sooon iPhone 15 Pro max I bet you 😅😅😅
If logic works of course Final Cut will work 🤦♂️
Sure, but Apple isn’t publicizing that info, so it’s always good to confirm for people who might not have thought so.
