This is our last video of the South India series 🇮🇳. We hope you enjoyed the journey! We still might have one or two more things to show about our travels in India, but they requiere more time to edit and we know many of you are a bit tired of this loooooooong series.
So, what do you think of Mahabalipuram? Got you interested in those ancient monuments and the hindu temples? Leave a comment if you'd like to visit Mahabalipuram and what excited you the most!
Thank you fopr watching and for your support! 🥰🥰

The descendants of Pallavas were the rulers of the entire South East Asian countries. Cambodian Angkor Watt temple was based on the architecture of Kanchi Kailasanathar Temple in Kanchipuram. Kanchipuram was the capital city of Pallavas, near Mahabalipuram. Do you know? Even the SEA language scripts were inspired by Pallava Grantha script. You may search yourself about the relationship of Pallavas with SEA countries. Author and Historian William Dalrymple is currently working on a book that explores the relationship between Pallavas and SEA. Even Bodhidharma (Dámó) who brought Zen Buddhism to China was born in Kanchipuram. Xuanzang, the seventh century Chinese scholar and monk had written a note on Kanchipuram in his travelogue. Kanchi was/is the city of arts, temples, education and silk. You guys are so lucky and will be proud of visiting Pallavas' land. Please visit Kanchipuram once. You'll wonder at many more temples of the illustrious Pallava Kingdom.
