The 2022 MG5 Alpha was the original Gamechanger, arriving in the country in 2019 with enough tech and power to make its rivals quake in fear. In this Filipino car review, we take a dep look into the 2022 MG5 Alpha, to see if it still has what it takes to compete. The 2022 MG5 Alpha was ahead of its time, but now, newer models from other carmakers are catching up. There is the Geely Emgrand Premium, the Nissan Almera, the Honda City, and the updated Toyota Vios GRS. Despite these newer offerings, the current 2022 MG5 Alpha is still a compelling choice, but with the arrival of affordable crossovers in the segment, like the Toyota Raize, the Kia Stonic, and the Chery Tiggo 2 Pro, the MG5 Alpha is facing stiffer competition. The next generation MG5 Alpha needs to come in here to re-establish its dominance of the value subcompact sedan segment.

i going to buy it in a couple of days and just reviewed your video, am confused about noise control and steering, here in saudiarabia we have to drive 150,160 km/h for 2 to 3 thousand km sometimes, so what u suggest me, is it good for that or i shhould look for another options now?

Can you pit it against all or any MT in its segment? wala kc gumagawa ng review or comparo sa mga manual...cge na po please... especially na darating yung "upgraded" vios.. para at least alam natin if nag improve ba talaga bagong vios kung lalabas na.. wala talagang nag rereview ng mga manuals.... salamat marami! more power!!

Had the opportunity to take a look at the Geely Emgrand and compared to this specially with the price, the Emgrand really stands out. However, did you trying going up the ramp in your condo Rey? Was it able to pull itself up that steep ramp?

Hi, can I ask why the design here on Philippines for the MG5 2022 is not the same with the other countries. Other countries had already the facelifted version for a more sporty look on the MG5, even the interior is not the same. Am I missing something?
