I never got that "orcs in space", apart from the fact they started with Warcraft 2 engine. In fact Warcraft 3 was a Starcraft in "orcs and stuff" fantasy with all the creep, summoning buildings, moving buildings etc.

I genuinely enjoy spell effects of Reforged more than the original Warcraft 3(most of them at least), but that's all I like about it, I just can't stand the unit redesigns there.

What we'd really need is an W3-like mode for SC2 with heroes, creeping, etc. We already have a lot of heroes as we can see in coop missions, we'd need to include them in a proper game mode.

@@Bagginsess First of all, this is in the SC2 engine, so as long as the terran isn't blind, they won't let the blur in. Secondly, you've seen how bad death knight has it with killing the depot wall. Now imagine another melee hero that can't deathcoil the worker doing the same.
@@朕是神 so then mirror image instead. And DK doesn't do anywhere near as much auto attack damage as blademaster. Orc builds a hero shrine before any other building. Terran builds a depot then a barracks then another depot. I don't know how long it would take to create the hero and run over but I think it is more than possible to get it there in time with the windwalk speed boost. At least in time to destroy the barely constructed 2nd depot and then the marines, level up and get mirror image and go to work on the scv's. Send in a few grunts as follow up. There are no creep camps after all so the orc has to level up somehow. I also bet blood mage and arc mage harass would work fine and they are ranged units with nuke aoe spells. I can't wait to see grubby try it out because I bet he will do cheeky rushes.
HARSTEM - Why didn't you use abominations or meat wagons with the plague cloud upgrade?? That would've been amazing against Terran. 1 hp damage per second wasn't a big deal in WC3 with units have a lot of health - but SC2 units have much less HP, not to mention the constant hp drain would drain his medivacs energy. Abominations also have 1175hp and regen 2hp per second off of blight (creep). I imagine Meat Wagons would one shot clumps of infantry and two shot mech units - except the Thor maybe.
Imagine zerg or undead capturing the other's worker with banshee/infestor. You could see necromancers giving unholy frenzy to ultralisks, and then a dreadlord nearby with vampiric aura.

There is the entire Warcraft 3 campaign made in Sc2 engine. It's an amazing experience to play old campaign on new engine. It's called Warcraft: Azeroth Reborn. You can find it in custom campaign and I think it would make for amazing content/stream

Or watching them try to CnC unit spam Swarm Host and Broodlords 😂. Maybe just as a joke to show how much better designed Starcraft factions are to pretty much any faction from the CnC games, and don't get me started on Warcraft vs CnC and how much a slaughter that'd be, like watching a 4 year old try to box Mike Tyson.
From my perspective, it seems that nova needs a debuff to range, as it can be cast from halfway across the screen (7-8 range), down to 5. Also, Harstem, if you play as Undead again, try haunting mines in the corners since you don't need a necropolis.

Dispel doesn’t exist for Terran, NecroWagon has no counter if stay away from ghosts to not get EMP.
