I have my second interview with this company tomorrow. I’m excited that these guys have such great values and I hope to be part of it.

I really like the message this owner has. Focus on being better, be a good team player, be responsible for your own happiness and the prosperity of the company and leave all the baggage at the door. I can see myself enjoying working at this company, I just need to move to Idaho first!

Hi, the first to arrive goes to n.1 if it is better. Is it a podium?

Interesting discussion. I do find it interesting that 'lean' drives us to find solutions in a more self governing way; bring me solutions, change is driven within not from top-down, and yet we still accept top-down driven governmental systems without much question. I can't help but see numerous parallels between the principals of self-governance and lean business practices. Hopefully this paradigm can open some eyes to other possibilities outside the workplace as well.
