Legend. I bought a used Tiguan over a year ago and I think I just found how to fix my issues with the sunroof drains. It is supposed to rain tomorrow where I live so we will certainly find out. THANK YOU!!
I had this issue with the drivers and both sides in the back. I ended up going to lowes and grabbing three long skinny funnels, cutting them down to size and made the tubes flow into the funnels. Seems to be working well!
Good job dude, it does appear you care about your work and your customers. This is the 3rd possibility. Other 2 being a clogged drip vent, what that hose went into, and the other being. Apparently behind the wheel well cover on the firewall. Where firewall to floorpan seam. Sometimes the factory doesn't completely seal the seam, and H2O will get in through that route.
What is the size of the inner tubing you used? I am urgently needing to all four tubes today and thankful for your video. I have 2 inches of water in my front floor boards
Here is the rear drain video. th-cam.com/video/nT6RwFlkjGc/w-d-xo.html&lc=UgwUyHXcoA2IMtg9UQV4AaABAg

Thank you. This was my issue and now it’s resolved for much cheaper than the $6000 the garage quoted me to repair

Thank you and thanks for watching
Thanks for posting this. This was my problem too and I fixed it for $9 in parts.
Very nice video. What is the id of the hose? Would a 1/2" pex or pvc coupling work?
I think that is a hair to big.
Thank you so much. I can do mine now.
Good job, solved my issue!

I think it was 8mm
nice. i need to do this also.. where did you get that piece of hard plastic to attach both hoses
That was a left over piece from a PCV hose assembly. But you can use a piece of copper tubing.
I have water leaking at that exact same spot on my golf. hoping its the same easy fix
have you ever had this seen issue with the passenger side? I haven't attempted to access that one yet
No not yet.
