Hello Nick it's me Tobi Stevens son
Love what you do
When soldering, it's better to clean the tip before use, and leave the solder on it when you set it down. This will help prevent oxidation of the tip and extend it's life.
Looks great. Was thinking of you spaced the wood fronts with a couple of washers then you could have ran the led straight along each level with only one connection. Keep up the great videos. All the best
The LED lighting is delicious! Fitting it in the van vault is genius!
Shout out to the LED in the drawer! You are putting in some serious hours and thoughts into that van, Such a lovely thing to do for a give away. Massive respect to that! I also now know how to put lights in my van drawers now 😂😂which will be a huge game changer for the winter.
Nick, as much as I know this is for views and clicks and to promote your channel, this is a really lovely thing to do and will offer an apprentice a real step up in their career.
Using your viewer base to do good for others is just fantastic and hats off to you. I know this is taking time out of your available time to complete electrical jobs, but it really is time well spent.
Good man ❤️ will continue to like and comment on your videos to help the cause 👍
Another thought, maybe reach out to one of the TH-cam detailers and see if they fancy a collaboration, either a smaller channel looking to grow themselves, or something like Autofinesse who do some great work.
Looking good inside the back now Nick, just need to spray that bulkhead cabside.
Will be doing the LED tape inside the Van Vault to my slider 👍
Maybe some deadlocks to add that extra layer of protection and some cool white led headlights for the next episode would be a good shout
Doing a good job Nick, LED lighting look's good I hope you get some freebies off your suppliers that little van going to look mint when finished, all the best Nick and Adam see you on the next video
Really enjoying the Van. Someone is going to love it. Started watching the channel after the Velocity Bag video, would love to have one of the bags just cost to much to ship to the United States. Keep up the good work.
A small inverter 12v to 240v would be a god send, Ive got two in my van used to charge batteries and my laptop. If your getting a head unit ask them if they could upgrade the speakers also and/or add some. loved seeing
How about some reversing sensors. The cameras a great idea, but sometimes you can't judge how close you actually are. Thanks for sharing Nick.
If you put the shelf and van vault LED strips in a diffuser, should protect them and the install will last longer (possibly longer than the van!). 😁👍
Awesome stuff Nick. How about some grey or black carpet on the front of the timber partition/headboard? The gas soldering irons are great. If you don't have your hot air gun for heatshrink there's an adapter in the Dremel kit for heatshrink. Cheers
Wheel barrow race to win the van. They need to pass their wheel barrow licence ;)
Another great video I highly recommend owatrol for any black trims you want to get back to looking almost like new
put bigger wheels on and then go for bigger brakes
i used to fleet 100+ of these and that's what i always wanted to do
also, make sure you've got the later canvas boost hoses rather than the older rubber ones as they can pop off with ease
other than that they go on for ages and ages with nothing more than driveshaft and front wishbone issues
one van had the sinking clutch pedal issue but nothing else in 4 years of running them
you just need to specify if it's the earlier one with the 1.5 din head unit or the facelifted full double din head unit, the on/off button is rubber on the earlier ones and plastic on the facelifts, makes a HUGE difference in what head units and options you can fit as the earlier ones came with the older plugs whereas the newer ones came with the quadlock connectors
Nice little van
From a visual aspect mate I think that mdf bulkhead looks out of place would look so much better with abit or black fabric stuck onto it
Well that looks awesome doesn’t it 👏 👏 fancy not using black cable, what a let down 😂😂
Using heat on the bumpers is a bad idea. It works by drawing the oils in the plastic to the surface, which makes them dry out quicker. Have you thought about doing a colab with a local car detailer that could give the van a good, proper clean?
Van is looking good. How about speaking eith Rhino about some kind of discount for the van insurance for the young apprentice.
Give it to adam for him to use great videos guys look forward to loads more
i just watched a video from 2 years ago when you made your work bench and put the roof on in your office, has your voice gotten higher? haha its probably just the mics but yeah, love your vids
Restore faded plastics with boiled linseed oil - have a Google of that!
Your van has no MOT mate nice wee van for Adam but can’t drive 😂😂
as somebody from the United States silicone on your number plate, crazy! Have you ever heard of screws? but then again you don't have to change them as often as we do From what I understand. We depending on state have to change them between owners, expiration or lapsing.
Good stuff.
Interesting vig
Hi Nick, Nice Video. Just wondering about the Mezanine floor that you said you were going to build. Have you changed your mind about this
or are you still going to go ahead with it?
Fill it with plumbing tools haha
Blue or black gas for the restoring plastics m8 it a cooler burn
Offcuts of LED strip, lighting sparkies' vans since a few years ago
Will you be fitting it with a good alarm ?
No mate don’t think so
Hi why don't you spray the wood black behind the seats as well it will look nice.
Done 👍
Alloys, sway bar, coilovers, re-map. Standard things needed for a van really.
Nick, as a 46 year old bloke who has just finish their first year at college, I have just had a bit of a windfall and I want to buy a MFT, obviously I don’t want to goto eBay and possibly buy something that has been stolen, so I am looking for recommendations for a MFT that I can get within my budget of £800, and help would be appreciated
Have you stopped doing yt shorts?
Been on holiday mate
Spinners🛞🎉
Tidy little motor
Think I’ve seen someone use wd40 on headlights etc
What no heatsink ! On the LED lighting in the wooden shelves…….that will shorten there life
They all have heat shrink on. Showed it In The video……
@@NBundyElectrical oh right do they ? I must have missed that bit Nick ….Sozz
With Apple carplay some bitching speakers in rear ceiling, just to let the rest of the planet know you are arriving. How about you take it to the Smallest Cog for a once over.
Too many adverts, sorry thumbs down
I don’t put them in mate TH-cam does
Vass, you do know how TH-cam works don't you?
