      @@DownFallNetWork As a norwegian, I believe you are wrong. Just like you mispronounce just about every single norwegian word in this video, Varg has a very norwegian pronounciation of the word Burzum. Especially the rolling r-sound is particular to his hometown of Bergen.

    Vargs dungeon synth is some of the best shit there is. Ironically it is similar to the music the japanese made for the Moomin Valley tv series from the 90's. Fittingly they're both pretty esoteric at this point, though one is dark and spiritual while the other is wholesome and lonely.

      I guess it's fine for what it is but as far as music goes it's pretty unimaginative. It certainly isn't something that you would play to give you energy or feel like giving a shit about anything. He got to be one of two black metal artists to be on the first actual movie soundtrack ever and he chooses drip drip drip, dripdripdrip. Funny enough I know the first black metal band to be on a major Hollywood production and nobody even knows the song. It was the band "Fog" and the first major attempt at a true crime drama called "Bully" from 01 or 02. The director from the aforementioned movie was involved in some ways btw, plus one of his actors was in it.

      Varg was the foundation of introducing those memorizing melodies into the 2nd wave, developed from Bathory. You can hear that inspiration in great bands like Windir. • @dasein9980
      @dasein9980 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      InputSilver9 it's somewhat complicated. Varg admitted to having Venom shirts but not because he liked Venom. I believe they were sold at Euronymous' shop. While they sold them and Euronymous may have wore them it's possible, like so, many other things, Euronymous was merely trying to be super-edgy and appeal to people outside the Movement who, oddly enough, Euronymous despised.

    • @dasein9980
      @dasein9980 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      InputSilver9 yeah, I think you're right about that. Anyhow the only reason Varg had Venom shirts at his place of residence was because they were inventory. When the police retrieved clothes for Varg they grabbed a Venom shirt. I don't see any reason why he would lie about that.
