    I recently picked up a 2021 Beta 300RR. Finally got it out for a ride. This video is my initial impressions of the bike.
    I'll have this bike and more available for rental this summer.

    "This engine is freakin awessome!" I knew it wouldn't be long until I heard that from you. Best engine in the 300 class!

    Nice video. Good level of commentary mixed with the sweet song of the 2T. Beautiful country there! Subscribed.

    Great video! I have a 2022 and the 13t front sprocket really helped. I agree on the suspension and the motor. Super happy with my choice and you can't beat a 6mo warranty! Subscribed!

    Just found your Channel. 👍 I have a Beta 300 RE. The stock regular 300 suspension is definitely nice in technical terrain. I’ve had my forks done by race tech and they’re great in the whoops but still lacking plushness in rocks. Great riding! You’ve got some skill. Very nice. I’m sticking with Beta. I really like the brand.

    Change the tyres asap. I have the same bike and didn't realise how bad the stock tyres are. I went with a gouldy 333. Big difference. Congrats on the bike.

      The irc jx8 gekkota is my go to tire currently. I’m going to try and run the Michelin for as long as possible. They love them in Europe I think it’s a decent tire in the right conditions.

    I have about 6 hours on mine. At 10 hours I’m doing the suspension. It’s way way to soft. Especially if you press it on 3rd,4th,5th gear single track, or the occasional track day. It’s fantastic. Love it.

    Forest fires gone done burned everything! Beautiful though...I was curious how much clutch control you're using and all that slow techy trial stuff? I'm a beginner so I want a tractor that doesn't require constant clutch mastery....

    • @blackhillsdualsport
      @blackhillsdualsport  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use the clutch a lot for power modulation but this bike lugs really well and will pull very nicely up most terrain without a lot of clutch input. Thanks for watching!

    What elevation are you riding at? Are you running the stock jetting? Sorry if you mentioned in video and I missed it.

    Standing between a 2020 Beta 300 RR and 2020 Husqvarna 300 TPI.. don‘t know which one I should take :/
    Only slow trails. I want the bike which is easier to ride. Weight is same as yours.

      My 2020 KTM 300xcw is my favorite bike . I mostly only use it for technical riding 1st and 2nd gear stuff. It’s been a great bike and I’ve had zero issues with it . The beta is an awesome bike too. I use it more for faster hare scrambles and singletrack. It can totally do the slow technical riding. I just don’t have it set you for that. I think the beta is better for a newer rider as you don’t have to be as sensitive with throttle control like you do on the TPI bikes. Downside of the husky is the composite subframe. I think they’re really hard to get right now. Beta is composite but it’s 3 pieces. So you can replace individual pieces if necessary. With the husky You’ve gotta buy a new subframe. Both are great bikes

    Is the turning radius of this Beta a real deal-breaker? or is it just fine? I am hesitant to get a TPI that's why.

    • @aussiesam37
      @aussiesam37 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have the same bike. The turning is not that bad. The bike is amazing. I was going for a Husky 300 tpi. I have always has ktm or Husky. The tpi system put me off. All so try a sherco if you get a chance.

    • @Haroold127
      @Haroold127 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@aussiesam37 yeah, i actually like the tpi because of you dont need to change jettings for any kind of rides but in a long term put me into a hesitant mode. thats why i am looking for a rr race edition..

    • @blackhillsdualsport
      @blackhillsdualsport  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Definitely not a deal breaker. I have a 2020 300xcw and honestly think I prefer the engine and power delivery of the beta. It’s low end power is so good. It holds traction very well. Turning radius can be improved a bit by adjusting the steering stops. Bike is really good!

      @@blackhillsdualsport How's the stock suspension? do you really need to revalve it? i'm torn between beta or sherco. dang

    • @blackhillsdualsport
      @blackhillsdualsport  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      For the kind of riding I do I don’t think it needs a revalve. I mostly ride slower technical stuff and am rarely out of 3rd gear. Usually 1st and 2nd. The forks feel great to me. The rear could probably use a stiffer spring for my weight 225lbs. I haven’t ridden a Sherco but people online seem to love them. I ride with some pretty talented guys that have betas and they all have had great experiences with them.

    How does this compare to the GPX 300r?

    • @blackhillsdualsport
      @blackhillsdualsport  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No comparison really. The gpx is a 300 four stroke, not a lot of power but still fun for what it is, a good beginner bike or woods basher to keep your fitness up. The beta has tons of power and pulls like a freight train it is much more of an experienced riders bike feels racier.
