I have to say I've loved all your videos. In the first one when you explain why you love Hoya it's like you read my mind you are one of my favourite TH-camrs yes yes please make more videos I really want to see how you propagate.
Awwwwwe you're making me cry happy tears!!! 😭❤ I really really really (x1000) appreciate your love and support!! The Hoya propagation video is definitely one of the top three videos I'm gonna do next!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! 😘
Your Caudata is So Stunning I would stare at it all day lol , mine is just a baby cutting, You really need to see it in person and touch the leaves to appreciate it don’t you think ? Thanks for sharing 🙏🌱
I have my Krimson Queen in a semi hydro setup. It's in a jar with a hole drilled in about an inch up from the bottom, the media is leca with a lil orchid bark. In the winter/spring time I just make sure that the media is moist. During the growing season I have keep water in the reservoir, the water last for about a month or 2 before i need to water again. Super easy to take care of, It even has a vine that's all pink with leaves that's all pinkish white. (I know i should cut it off cause it's not really making energy for her, but I don't want to. lol )
've just finished watching your 6th part and subbed sometime this last week. I have found your videos to be very informative Mandy. I have been collecting Hoya since probably September this year and mainly get them as cuttings. Nothing as rare as yours, and here in England the choice seems a lot less varied than the US. I am becoming quite experimental in my propagation methods and usually end up moving them into semi-hydro. I think I noticed most of yours are in a medium of some sort. I don't have any humidifiers yet, or a grow tent, but I use other things like terrariums/up turned glass jars to raise the humidity and I am fascinated by the amount of ariel roots they put out. I guess this is to obtain moisture from the air. I just love this genus, they are fascinating. Thanks so much for all the effort you put into your videos.
Wow thank you for your support!! I really appreciate it. =) I love propagation!! I usually propagate in sphagnum moss and move them either to leca or bark mix. I don't use a humidifier since my house is pretty humid already (I live by the beach). I'm so glad to meet a fellow Hoya lover in the UK! Yay! ❤
I'm so glad that I found your channel! You have beautiful Hoyas and I found such information. I have approximately 30 and I know there will be more in my future. I have tried so often to buy from Gardinos but everything is always sold out. I'll keep trying. Thank you for sharing your collection
Thank you!!!! Yea Hoya is so addictive! 🤣 I find that it's easier to order from Gardino nursery now because they changed their restock schedule. Keep trying! I promise it's worthwhile. ❤❤❤
@@amandalaw7131 it's weird isn't it. I live in London so nothing special I grow my Hoya under normal household conditions but carnosa nope she hate me.
Ann I’ve been able to keep it alive by forgetting about it I even had it in low light 😳 I just moved it to brighter light. Now the queen 🙄 I give it everything it “needs” and I’m on my third one and so far so good 🤞🏻
I two have had trouble keeping my Queens a live I have killed 5 in the last 6 months 30 years ago I had a Queen I was gorgeous huge I didn't know anything about Hoya's just used regular potting soil and it thrived now I am doing all the tricks the collectors use and they are dieing it is my favorite Hoya if you find out what the problem is please please let me know!! Thank You! Betty Kastner
I just rewatched all of your collection videos - for the third time! These never get old! I hope you do an updated collection video in the future. 😈 @mermaidhouseplants
It's actually really easy for me. But some of my friends said it's hard for them. I mean it really depends on your own environment. I give mine a lot of bright light and water it when it's almost completely dry. Humidity is about 50% to 60%

Thank you!! It's a gorgeous looking plant isn't it? Not the easiest to care for, but worth the trouble. ☺️❤🌿
I agree, Lauterbacii is a diva! I’ve been struggling with it for 4 years 😢
You have an awesome collection. I look forward to the care and propagation videos. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Looks like you need more hoyas for episode 7! 😉😉
More Hoya are coming as we speak. 🤣🤣🤣
I’m so surprised you struggle with Crimson Queen. I’m a beginner and mine is thriving. Sorry you lost yours

Gosh the name is a mouthful!!!
I always thought I was the only one on earth that couldn’t keep the QUEEN alive 😅
Nope. You got me right there with you!! ❤❤🤣 Let's see what happens... third time is a charm!! 🤞🌿
The one I struggle with is carnosa I can keep so called difficult ones alive in fact thriving but carnosa hates me.
@@user-cn3bk6en8f Interesting! All my carnosa are thriving expect for the queen so idk 😂🤷♀️

Propagation boxes are meant to be a mess!😅
I know right?! Sometimes I can't even find some of the cuttings I put in lol!! 🤣 It's super fun though :)

Lol thank you so much! I'll definently do an update ones since I have gotten so many more 😂😂😂
Hi was that a mealy bug on your hoya obtusifolia ?
Hmm I don't believe so... she seems to be fine. Thanks for the head up though =)
Ahhh... were you the one who won the undulata from iyares? If so, I lost to you by $2.50 Ahahaha. But they sold me another one 😅
Yes I got it from iyares but the first one. I remembered there was a second one which went for a lot more
is hoya caudata easy?
