I like to think I know a lot about Hoyas, but I still learn so, so much from your videos! Every single one! Thank you!! Two things I'd love to hear you talk about are systemic pest control (I've requested this before, ha 😂) and how/where you research Hoya info. I've come across plenty of opinions on these topics, but I really value your perspective/knowledge and would love to hear your take!
Amanda, do you sell hoya seeds? Any site that you can recommend, please? I have tried to get a message out to you on different media but falling short on that. Any help will be highly appreciated. Thank you.
Hi! I don't unfortunately. I am an indoor grower so it's extremely challenging for my Hoya to set seeds. 😔 I got my seeds mostly on FB from the more experienced and reputable growers.
I kind of not getting it. They seem the same to me otherwise we ended up a lot of name for the same plant. You didn’t talk about their flowers. My guess is because they are exactly the same. To me it is already annoying that we have cultivars that give out exactly the same flowers with just different leaves. I mean compacta, krinkle8, krimsons, etc all have the same flowers . I know you are a fan of canosa and that is cool. I wish that info available before I buy a Hoya hehehe.
@@amandalaw7131 that would be awesome. Gosh I saw your Hoya sale . I wish I am in USA and can buy some hahaha I just got a one leaf cutting of Hoya tomataensis (your feature😜). I can’t get over the pink flowers. They’re pretty rare. I bought it for $50 which included shipping . Shipping’s in Australia is around $16-$20 locally. How amazing it is that Hoya would have so many cross breed and one can’t tell until it flowers. We do that king of cross pollinating for certain flowering plants . The flower can become different colours or half petals with 2 different flowers. My grandpa show me how to do it with one of those. Sometimes if you plant the two colours plants together you can get a different colour with the seeds . It is not easy and pretty random😜👍
I now have serious Hoya Joy envy!!!
Amanda this is one of most fascinating Hoya video I have watched!👏just wish I could find one of those in my country South Africa.
Thank you for the information, beautiful plants ❤❤❤
Very very interesting Amanda.
I really liked your discussion!
Thank you!!

Thank you so much for your kind words! I am learning new things every day! 🥰
Very interesting and very well explained. I really value these videos from Amanda.
Thank you!! Appreciate your support!
Nice 👍🙏👌🌹❤
Very interesting!!
I want a hoya joy now 🤩
Yes!! It's an awesome one ÷)
❤❤❤❤
I need to add metallica to my collection! Those leaves are beautiful. It's not one I've seen listed before but I will keep my eye out for it now 😊
Yea... it's a hard one to find. I got this a while ago from KOKO Ranch Hoya. Good luck with your search!
Love your videos Amanda and have learned so much. I’m wondering if you have Larisa and how it compares to Joy?
I do have a Larisa. The leaves look slightly more elongated than Joy. I also found Joy to be a faster grower.

Very interesting but to be honest, i can’t tell the difference between the ‘sisters’ 🤔🥲
I know right??!! I need to wait for them to flowers so I can investigate further 😅

My thoughts exactly! Hopefully mine would flower soon so I can investigate more.

Your metallica doesn't look like my metallica.
I know right? It's confusing. I'm waiting for it to bloom for me so I can investigate more
