- Hunter Lawrence has had a turbulent time of it ever since he fell at RedBud and now, after a subpar Washougal, he is desperate for answers. Lawrence is candid and honest in this discussion.
This guy is one of the most likeable people In motocross. Never blames anyone but himself and keeps it 100% all the time
I liked Hunter more before he said he would let Jett pass him for wins…still like him though
Agreed
@@trav.builds
Like he has an option lol. He couldn't hold Jett up if he wanted to
Jett has always been the better sprinter... hunter will always be the better rider to watch. Facts and chase will always be chasing 7 title's in a row.... God bless merica
Hunter is a straight up, man’s man! He is extremely articulate, obviously very intelligent, and clearly not afraid to speak the truth! Gotta love em 👍
I was going to like this comment, but then saw it has 96 likes, so left it 😎
Hunter is such a class act . He is really getting comfortable on his 450 now .
His honesty does not go unnoticed, class act.
Respect to Hunter for being honest and to Lewis for doing an awesome job in these interviews
Just a Solid Young Man all around. Hope ya get it identified and resolved Hunter ✊💪✌️😉
Fast forward to 2034 and this guy is HRC's boss
Nice hearing the transparency. Hopefully he finds it soon.
He won't unless he sits on the couch for 6 months. Concussions don't heal by doing four 30 min motos
Like RC said, the Lawrence’s are a no excuse family.
until you get to jettson
@@ajajjfjrjejrjellekfkfjfndj1014how so?
@@ajajjfjrjejrjellekfkfjfndj1014 what excuse has jett made 😂
@@Torrn518 jett hasnt needed an excuse , he has won 7 straight championships 🤣🤣
Thinking there is a health problem with him sounds like an excuse
What a legend.....!
Hunter you got this keep going bud emu kangaroo baby...!
Big fan from Australia.
Hunter is one of the good guys for sure ! the more I watch him and listen to him speak, never any excuses just straight up answers!! he is one of my favorite riders for sure!!
One of my favorite riders. Just an absolute grinder. The effort he puts out is unreal and always holds himself accountable.
Hang in there Hunter!! Get some rest and back to basics and your win's will come!!
Wow. Tip of the hat to Hunter. Acknowledging that he’s got a job to do just like a blue collar worker shows his work ethic and great upbringing by his family. Humble young man. Cheers!
Hunter is doing great in his rookie 450 season. He will figure it out and love his interviews.
His riding declined at the same time Jett got injured. I wonder if not having his brother out there setting the pace has caused him some issues. Love the straight up honest answers.
Love this, always, awesome perspective.
Love how he talks about the working man like his dad.
I've been working construction my whole life.
Feed my family, put a roof over their heads, give them the best life I can. It's my job!
The more I hear from Hunter, the more I like the cut of his jib.
Humble, keeping it real.
Real humble, just like when Ricky Johnson went to shake his hand on the podium and he treated him like a jerk humble? Gimme a break!
@@seneca998 You mean the one where he looks directly at Ricky and instead of shaking his hand, he gives a thumbs up and walks away? Maybe you just love the guy?
Hunter was 8yo when Ricky Retired and grew up on the other side of the world and he was in the middle of a podium celebration. Calm your farm ya clown
@@Efemedio1you totally don’t even understand what happened there. What an embarrassment to motocross. Rick isn’t offended and understands, why are you incapable? Don’t be an insufferable “Kant”.
That kid just totally changed my opinion of him answering the question do you wonder what you got yourself into.
I was coming here to say the same thing
@@mikschultzyevo I don't mind being humbled for a good reason
#96 all Champions don't win every Race. Your honesty is what Champions have..#96
Hunter is always a great interview!
You'll find your speed Hunter keep up the determination 💪
Good kid!
Down to earth, owns it!
Fantastic, Honesty is not always what comes to mind but that is what he is about
Right on man from a contractor myself ! Thanks for the respect !
Much respect Hunter for you and Bro. Keep rippen be patient.
You are doing good Hunter. It’s your first year. Your time will come. Head up and ignore the haters. 💪🏼
Damnit... This interview makes me really like Hunter now!!
Dude is so insightful I love it
I like hunter. Such a good honest kid! Not afraid of being a bit vulnerable. Also, he will be better from it. Admit defeat and get better.. still an awesome rookie season..
You will be back on the podium soon. Keep up the good work 🙂
Hunter has nothing to worry about.
Basically simultaneously having your training program altered with an injury, while losing your training partner and confidant is bound to have temporary repercussions.
I hope Hunter takes a deep breath and looks forward to the things he can change and improve on.
You can't ask for more transparency than this interview. It reminds me of Chase Sexton's interviews 4 months ago. That 'X' factor about being out of the flow zone... Chase is back I think Hunter will back.
Don't beat yourself up too much Hunter. You're riding great and still one of the best dirt bike riders in the world! Hang in there man! The Lawrence Bros Rock!
Both brothers have an incredible attitude to racing and values… your be fighting for the win again soon 💪
surprised you were able to get hunter this week and haiden last week - by got them, I mean both got interviews AND got good content from them. well played, sir.
Good dude, wishing him the best 🤙
This dude is so humble and such a likable guy. I’m always rooting for this kid !
So much respect for hunter after this interview!!!
Hunter is a stand up dude and racer!! Transparent, doesn’t hide anything, honest, doesn’t pass the buck, owns issues!! Humanity should be this way!!
I like Bunter he is growing on me no bs kind of guy and the end of his interview that was great because he is right does not matter if he thinks it is to many races could always be worse and he gets paid a lot to race dirt bikes which is so many peoples dream
Head injuries are a mother. Been there done that and it literally ruined my life. He needs to get to the doc and get the issue resolved. There is medications that will help recovery but time is all that will work. I lost a huge construction business and a few properties because of it. I am huge on head injury/tbi safety now
yeah they are hell, hope things are better for you now
His honesty is why I’m a fan he just doesn’t make excuses & doesn’t get too high when he wins & im actually a chase fan
Hell yeah he's straight up with his words, and being honest, shit happens, he will figure it out what is going on
Love this dudes approach
Hunter legend ❤ been watching ya before pro years back come a long way very smart and switched on.
Hunter always keeps it real, I’m such a huge fan
I have alot of admiration for hunter,, he seems as genuine as a person can be. His calm persona makes me think he's got his life in balance, good for him.
Brilliant raw to the point! Thanks Frank! 🤙🏻🇦🇺
Love the honesty of the lad awesome work hunter
Hunter is Class. It's what us Aussies say "Top Bloke"
Was waiting in line in the pits by the Honda trailer and this cute family in front of my said Hi to Hunta and he was so nice to them, pulled them out of line for a little chat dude is a straight up class act makes it fun to root for him. He does finish strong so I'm expecting a flourish of strong podium finishes to finish out the season. Moto dudes respect a man who stands on his values like Hunta does.
Gotta love hunter, hope you get things sorted, been a great addition to the 450 class this season 👌🏻
Keep at it Hunter!
He is going well considering this is his first season on the 450, that is a big change only Jett has made that look easy. Stay healthy bank it as a building year.
Class act! I wish him well!
This young man has class.
And just like that,....I become a Hunter Lawrence fan,....and SUB'D to this channel. Good on ya', mate...
Always like how open and honest hunter is.
Keep working Hunter it's all you can do buddy!
Good guy here. All the best, hope he figures it out!
Love the great attitude!!
I hope Hunter gets answers it’s sad he’s not feeling 100%
I was thinking it was going to be a good slugfest between Hunter and Sexton. Hunter was as fast as Sexton or even faster a few weeks back. I guess it just shows us what confidence can do for someone. I hope Hunter can find another gear and come back and make it interesting. Either way Hunter is having a great rookie season !
Considering the level of talent on the track, he's not doing bad at all.
Hey MAN :: Your a great person and one of the best riders in years Great job !!! After being in the motorcycle business for more than 45 years I have noticed that when a lot of riders get older and comfortable money wise a change happens. When they are kids its fun and exiting but then as they get into the top pros it becomes a job and the kid enjoyment fades away. Ask any of the pros and see when it happens. Just an observation to think about.
Love his attitude
Hang in there bro you are great just have fun!!!
Keep pushing kid.
Gotta love Hunta
You can’t help but like Hunter. Doesn’t throw the bike or team under the bus. Just straight up owns his results good or bad.
7.23.24 Where's Jettson?
Gotta say he is a real no bullshit guy and wish him well 👍
One day i hope we get Hunter lawerence in tje TV booth because he really sounds like hes ways smarter then all of us an a great perspective on mx life an ravmcin..he always ends on a positive note ..pictures at 11 o clock news...always end on the up
Don’t be so hard on yourself. Pretty good results for 1st yr 450.
Good on ya mate
Genuine good dude
Hunta!
he needs to have a spell from tuesday afternoon - saturday morning this week= will be fresh. i can garantee it will work.
Hunta seems like a great human being
His biometric ECU needs a reflash.
Lawrence lads might need to dial back the training and get the fatigue management a bit more in check… Bakers Factory lads seem to have it a bit more locked down….
Long covid post infection fatigue brain fog etc... people are gradually declining with reinfections. It's what got Alessi
Hunter, it's fatigue. It was a tough 250 season, mxon, plenty of crashes in sx/mx, and first time on a 450. You're used to bouncing back quickly because you're young. But, counter-intuitively, take more rest and less training
This is the way to adress adversity.
Disciplined, honest and takes responsibility.
Better than some other douchbag on a blue 250f I could mention.
Hunta is my fav!!
I like this guy
Hunter is way too hard on himself. This is his rookie season. The guy is doing great and better now than the start of the season. I wonder sometimes if Honda just expects too much from its riders.
I’m a fan. 👍
Lance says just get a blood transfusion, you’ll feel much better afterwards
He’s a rookie on the 450 class like he’s doing damn good for a rookie so he only gets better like the 250 class
Anyone that's ever gone down hard......it's an attitude adjuster. Takes a little bit to forget................
96 & 21 are my dudeZ!!!
0 excuses from the Hunta 🇦🇺
Everybody saying he’s a class act are forgetting when he took out Jo on purpose in the outdoor season for a 3rd place finish when Jett was gonna win the ship no matter what. I like him, but a lot of people in the comments saying he’s a man’s man or a class act….
I believe he that he doesn’t get the tow from jett which causes him to not mesh as well with the track causing him to try harder and get tired faster. Don’t think it really has anything to do with the crash or anything. Just my opinion though
Trees are intimidating😉
Still top 5 no matter what happens.
Hunter chalk it up to a bad day 😮Washougal can do that 😢get some rest 👍👍
Class act
At red bud he took a pretty good slam he may bot realize how hard he hit....it hurt to watch even in slow motioni hope hes feeling better...dont do that know more
