Honestly, I think Paul Bolton gets some great footage at the tough sections but you need way more cameras on the ground. You need to be getting the top ten riders at all the gnarly sections and giving us a flowing coverage of the race as it’s happening. Getting these little clips ten days after the race happens just doesn’t get me excited. The best publicity you guys can get is the POV from the top riders, you should seriously reconsider the decision to not allow the pros to wear them.
well get out there with a camera team of like 60 to 80 people and work on that footage day and night and youll have what you want, tell me how long it takes you
I wasn’t knocking Paul Bolton or the job he is doing, I was more knocking the FIM for taking the POV from the Pros. I like being able to see the riders from an outside perspective, it definitely shows you a lot more about how they ride the course than the POV, but it doesn’t give you a sense of a race happening, more of a highlight reel. It was just a little constructive criticism not a reason to get defensive. I think if you had 4 or 5 guys waiting at all the hard sections, then as soon as the top guys cleared their section they could skip ahead to the like section six and so on so one guy isn’t trying to race the riders along the course

This race will always be a special one for us, what an amazing time in Serbia. Our first prologue 1-2 with the Brightmores and P1-3 in the Juniors. Such a beautiful country and an amazing race.

Graham is my favorite. I have the same bike as him so I tell myself if I can't do it, it aint the bike. I love to hear the 2t's on the pipe on those hill climbs. I know the wife fondles my bike when i'm not around but she will deny it.
A well-deserved P1 for Mr. Young! Stellar coverage of this race...nice to see coverage of most of the top 5-10 riders throughout as opposed to focusing on just a couple...perhaps a bit of silver lining to not having Mani and Billy in the race. Great work again by Paul Bolton!!

to this 68 yr old viewer/rider, this sport, which is mainly a video sport, is getting boring, with a handful of humans riding/pushing bikes over nearly impossible landscapes. Not to mention the mass of money from RedBull corporation, which makes and sells a pretty nasty product that is the opposite of healthy. I;d rather see a couple wealthy companies invest a bit of money into getting some old fashion tracks available for all the inner city kids with amazing riding talent who are being criminalized for wheelieing around brooklyn and philly. Dirt biking shouldn't be some exclusively white kid activity. Watching this stuff is like watching the Sailing crowd. ha.
