It's really interesting seeing this about Harry after his recent profile where he talks about his need to be liked, not make interviewers mad, but how much it bothered him to be asked questions like that....He said looking back as an adult he can't believe some of the stuff he was asked, that he felt ashamed. The thing about Harry is that his private life was always an object of curiosity for the mass media, even if he didn't say anything. And more than the other members. This is why Harry is known for dodging personal questions. And I feel that what the others were doing is trying to help him and focus attention on them more than on him. Liam is such a great conversationalist and Niall is such a friendly chill and funny person. Zayn has big respect for the members and would always like to show appreciation esp Liam, he has high regard on him. Harry is a professional he's media trained to the bone when it comes to his love life. Louis is quite a comic but he is a emotional person too.
I think even if Louis is clearly an extrovert, he's also very anonymous. In these big settings he doesn't usually talk that much, at least not for the sake of an audience. Just for his friends. And in small, private settings he does the same but then it's more noticable because then the whole thing is more comfortable and private. I think that's what makes him so real and it's why people like him so much.
Louis doesn’t seem to be an extrovert. Although he was loud in 1d days, introverts can be loud sometimes when they are confident about themselves and comfortable with the surroundings.

the thing abt harry is tht he was always targeted when it comes to personal subjects especially back in the day he would be on some news headline damn near everyday which might explain y he answers more carefully and often dodges questions as his words get twisted quite alot (media was so obsessed with him smh). Nowadays he's quite literally mia most of the time on social media and is only active during the release of smth and then just disappears again and honestly good for him, i think finally leading a private life now after having his life on display for so long since he was 16 must be great, happy for him lol
Harry looks to be a lot more comfortable and confident talking to media these days. And he sets boundaries whilst still being polite and often with a bit of humour. He was so scrutinised for his love life and he was asked about it in every single interview. I would have dreaded them, just waiting to see what I would have to dodge or laugh off. It gets old really quickly. I was pretty shocked seeing some of the questions people allowed themselves to ask and I really felt for him in those moments…
Also, you have to understand, the media has been sexualising Harry since he was sixteen years old. He's had years of invasive questioning at this point and even when he's just friends with a girl he's automatically assumed to be dating her. People who don't know him that well call him a womaniser, when in reality he's actually one of the sweetest people. Yes, he's media trained, but I'm positive he's also sick of these sort of invasive questions. He still gets them, even now, 12 years on.

There's a new inerview with Harry that came out in Better Homes and Gardens (aparently as sort of pun to his upcoming album Harry's House). You should check this out some time. He talks about this likability and the need to please people at length there and it's a bit heartbreaking looking back at how they were treated by media while they were in 1D. He's increddibly polite but I'm glad that now he learnt to politely say no to questions and topics he finds inappropriate. I can see it brought him peace of mind and his art is now thrivingon it imo. Niall really does live almost completely under the radar. I am always surprised (at the same time not surprised) by the amount of people who didn't know or still don't know he has girlfriend who he has been dating for 3 years now! I read a comment somewhere that Niall could literally be married and have children and we won't even know. That is so true lol. Niall is also very smart about it, you would think that he is the most open and out-going member (which is kind of is), but at the same time we literally no next to nothing about his personal life

You picked up on when the interviewer was asking Harry what he was looking for in a partner how uncomfortable he was and the way he shifted in his seat. It looked to me by your reaction you were picking up that he shifted towards Zayn and how uncomfortable Zayn was with the question also. Did you also notice as the interview went on Zayn was leaning so far away from Harry? The more they try to hide it the more obvious it is. The body language was everything in this video.

From what I've seen about Zayn actually he's always attentive to listen other boys, he's really respect for Harry, he's always treat Niall like his lil Bro, but he's kinda different whenever he's with Louis and Liam, Louis is like his partner in crime, they're always chaotic, same the way Zayn act with Liam, but the difference is he's more like giving Liam respect and appreciated than Louis, this is same the way Liam act to Zayn, sometimes he's look like didn't really listen but actually he did listen to Zayn and care about him, i think why Zayn gave liam more like respect probably because Liam's personality is kinda more sensitive and matured for some way than Louis, and Louis is more like bring his inner child and have fun to do prank and did something crazy, but the things is Zayn always respect the other boys

When Harry answers his questions regarding relationship and he play and answer with his shoulder in Zayns direction.Now it make sense why he complimented Zayn on stage in ID days and had that chemistry with Z on stage.
I used to think that too, but now I don't anymore. His solo music and carrer is followed by a loyal group of fans, and I also think that it is the aim and the target of his music style. He is not an artist who dares, he tends to stay into in his comfort zone musically, and this means you could not expect a huge fanbase attracted by the freshness of his music or things like this. I think he is not looking for being big anymore like he was with 1D, but he likes to make music he personally enjoys and that only involves real loyal fans and not others. I hope you get what I mean, he is my fav soloist of 1D because of his lyricism and humble approach to art. I cannot say tho that the other members aren't doing a great job: Harry is not my cup of tea, but I admit he is a great artist and has a beautiful mind, Zayn's music is amazing to me, Liam is extremely talented on stage and Niall has a really comforting aura on stage and distinctive taste in music.

The "teen idol syndrome" & celeb idolatry in general, has always been compelling for ppl...the gifted "ppl of destiny" often become like humans fed into a meat grinder while alive. Some get a longer ride than others. HS was fed into the grinder at 14 & seems to have never had any chance to be other than whatever he has become. I wish him..& all of us.. long, healthy, happy life, neither taking nor giving harm.🙏

Thank you for the video I enjoyed your reaction. I always found this interview very interesting. You picked up on when the interviewer was asking Harry what he was looking for in a partner how uncomfortable he was and the way he shifted in his seat. It looked to me by your reaction you were picking up that he shifted towards Zayn and how uncomfortable Zayn was with the question also. Did you also notice as the interview went on Zayn was leaning so far away from Harry? The more they try to hide it the more obvious it is. The body language was everything in this video.

From what I've seen about Zayn actually he's always attentive to listen other boys, he's really respect for Harry, he's always treat Niall like his lil Bro, but he's kinda different whenever he's with Louis and Liam, Louis is like his partner in crime, they're always chaotic, same the way Zayn act with Liam, but the difference is he's more like giving Liam respect and appreciated than Louis, this is same the way Liam act to Zayn, sometimes he's look like didn't really listen but actually he did listen to Zayn and care about him, i think why Zayn gave liam more like respect probably because Liam's personality is kinda more sensitive and matured for some way than Louis, and Louis is more like bring his inner child and have fun to do prank and did something crazy, but the things is Zayn always respect the other boys
Zayn genuinely liked the other four but the juggernaut of fame and the machine that was Modest and 1D took its toll 😢

I used to think that too, but now I don't anymore. His solo music and carrer is followed by a loyal group of fans, and I also think that it is the aim and the target of his music style. He is not an artist who dares, he tends to stay into in his comfort zone musically, and this means you could not expect a huge fanbase attracted by the freshness of his music or things like this. I think he is not looking for being big anymore like he was with 1D, but he likes to make music he personally enjoys and that only involves real loyal fans and not others. I hope you get what I mean, he is my fav soloist of 1D because of his lyricism and humble approach to art. I cannot say tho that the other members aren't doing a great job: Harry is not my cup of tea, but I admit he is a great artist and has a beautiful mind, Zayn's music is amazing to me, Liam is extremely talented on stage and Niall has a really comforting aura on stage and distinctive taste in music.
