I love Jonathan Ross and Ricky Gervais. I’ve been through quite a bit of hell and back here in the US and this show has definitely helped me get through I love British comedy.

Ross: "I will hold you to that." Look at that laugh. For him, a good joke is a good joke, even if it is his own roast. Other examples are his interviews with Letterman.

Watching Ricky and Jonathan is like the conversations I have with my parents...it's like pulling teeth half the time, trying to get them to get to the point and then realising they have no idea what they're actually talking about, they just wanted to talk! Both times were cues to me that I needed to lose weight and of course I get the 'do the dance!' nonsense as well. At my Grandmothers funeral we arrived outside the church in the limo behind the coffin and as I stepped out stood in some dog shit …. After cursing and the Priest casting me a hard stare … I then followed the coffin scraping my foot on the ground trying to get the dog crap off my shoe …. With various people standing at the side waiting to go in behind the coffin wondering what the hell I was doing ! My grandmother would have been very amused I sat through the service imagining her laughing at me. 😊
Yes, very sharp but relaxed & playful. Travolta was blown away each time b/c their riffing on each other seemed so spontaneous. Ya, like musicians playing back & forth building something up, but here it's making each other laugh, bouncing back & forth.
You can tell Ricky and Jonathan are really good friends. And that chemistry just makes their comedy something unique and special.
