It’s just lazy IMO. Pregnancy pranks have been done over and over and over. If Bieber wants to be a “prankster,” he should stop half-assing it. I’m not at all surprised he pushed his sister into a cake, as that is another old and lazy trick. I prefer April Fools jokes that actually put some thought into it. With his money, he could have done something far better than taking a photo off of Wikipedia and smiling like he’s the first guy to think of this. Give me the Spaghetti Harvest or the Taco Liberty Bell over “you thought we were really pregnant, ha ha, fooled you!” any day. Bieber is no Alan Abel, that’s for sure.

I actually agree with her, infertility is more than just a miscarriage. There's so much more that Phil didn't go into. I'm still a hundred percent again cancel culture or censorship. But I also understand they have a right to be upset or offended. If you've ever dealt with infertility or if anybody in your family ever deals with infertility you'll know that it's often not talked about it makes women feel like they're less of a woman cuz he can't do the one thing they're supposed to do. There's just a lot of emotional shit that goes into it. I'm not saying that Justin has no right to joke about whatever he wants. I'm just saying that they have a reason to be upset as well. Infertility was the worst thing I ever went through for 7 years, crying all the time praying for a positive pregnancy test. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. You have a right to joke about whatever you want, but not everybody's going to find everything funny. And I think we should just respect each other's views.
@@AdlersShadows Am I missing something??? Cuz what I saw was a common joke of a false pregnancy, not a joke about infertility or about anyone not being able to conceive. I understand your situation and sympathize, really I do. But ppl shouldn't feel like they have the right to blow things out of proportion or bring up irrelevant and alternative facts. If he had made a joke about his wife not being able to conceive or joking that she had a miscarriage, etc...then fine, outrage justified...but that wasn't/isn't the case!
@@nunyabizness9594 Yup. They were making a stretch with being offended by fake pregnancy. They probably get triggered when a real pregnancy is touted around them too but only suck it up because that's even more socially retarded. But, with the way outrage culture is going, I wouldn't be surprised if celebrating pregnancies also gets socially suppressed because it's 'rubbing it in the face' of people who can't.
@@nunyabizness9594 yeah I get where you're coming from. And I understand why a lot of people are confused on why people are outraged. Or women dealing with infertility are upset. I don't normally get upset with it but I did when I was on meds, but I understand why they do. A lot of them are honestly on a lot of high hormones, that can get them even more upset. I mean I had a huge fight with my husband about eating the last zebra cake lol when I was on injections. It gets to the point where in some cases even looking at babies can be triggering or hard. It's A Hard Road for sure. I think that we [those dealing with infertility] need to understand that the INTENT isn't to offend us. I'm just saying I understand why they are upset and agreed with what bieber said. I think we should respect why people are upset, but I don't agree with cancel culture or asking people to not joke about things. I feel like we should have freedom of speech on both sides. If that makes sense?
@@AdlersShadows Except he wasn't promoting infertility. It is a very classic April fool's joke saying that you're expecting a child. Sorry if you feel triggered because you can't have children, but that is the same as people that can't walk getting triggered when they see people walk. Let's say he had made an April fools joke about not being able to walk. Should people be outraged as well? Or can you simply shrug it off as a joke. People these days live to get outraged and upset and it is disgusting... Keep your outrage to yourself and stop targeting people because you got offended. Infertility is not so bad if you look at earth as a whole. Day by day we're adding thousands of people to our population and food sources are dying out. It is sad for the people affected, but you have people in war zones and in poverty that are way worse off. I don't know if I can get kids, but if I can't I can always adopt and perhaps save someone else's kid. Even if Justin was joking about infertility he is not making jokes at infertile people. There's a huge difference in making a joke about an illness and the people being ill. Same goes for religion. You can make fun of the religion all you want as long as you don't make it personal and attack the people of said religion. If you're in doubt about what I mean I would suggest looking up Ricky Gervais.
@@legzfalloffgirl5148 Thank you. One of the pregnancies I lost was very late into it and I almost bled out, so I had a rough time. But I was able to have 3 children so I feel very blessed.
Just becausw it didnt affect you doesnt mean it hasnt affected others. Each persons experience is different and people need to be more mindful of others.
.....what about that joke had anything to do with miscarriages? If the mere mention of pregnancy triggers (the actual psychological term) this woman....she should probably stay off social media for a while and work with a therapist on her PTSD.
Cole Garland I know right! And what, does that person think women who - are - actually pregnant aren’t allowed to talk about it (pregnancy) because of the feelings of the women who have miscarried? I didn’t find Justin’s joke funny and I don’t particularly like him, but getting offended at that joke is unbearably obnoxious.
Right. Facebook posts that "We're pregnant!" could be considered offensive to someone who can't get pregnant, like me (because I'm a male). Imma complain about my feelings getting hurt the next time I even see a pregnant person because they have violated my constitutional right to never get offended. It's a microaggression and punishable by law, if I'm not mistaken.
All of you have me fucked up, it doesnt just affect the woman, it affects the father and families involved, i dont wish this shit on anyone or think of them any different for being upset over it. Stop being Philly sheeps and actually feel empathy for others
@@enrymion9681 I completely agree with you. I've had a miscarriage (46 and no successful pregnancy) and I can't think of a single thing he said that would trigger me. People try to find negative with just about everything these days and it's ridiculous.
Just sayin there was a post on reddit about how a guys whole family got together on april 1st to let everyone know his brothers (or some family member idr) wife had an affair and they were divorcing and the dude busted out laughing saying how it was a great april fools joke and it was real lmaooo. i wouldn’t be surprised if it was fake but still
There was an armed robbery in Colorado Springs, CO, USA on April fools day. Everyone thought it was a joke. Noooope 😅 What a terrible day to rob a place
@@curiouslytot1950 Oh god, I can imagine the panic that sets in. "Put the money in the bag, this is a robbery" "Haha, very good, sir. So what will it be today?" "...I...uhh, I-I wasn't joking..." Fuck that person/people for committing an armed robbery anyway, but at least that thought is amusing
It's inevitable that *someone* is going to joke about them or their significant other being pregnant on April fools day. If a person is really that sensitive to it then they should probably stay off of social media for the day. It's been a thing every year since social media became mainstream.
Many people get excited even happy when they find out someone is pregnant. There are also bad feelings along that line. People who can't have children (and want to have them) tend to despise pregnancy announcements, jealousy normally. A healthy baby is a huge commodity. To joke about it and then to say fooled you is a slap in the face to those that were happy for you. For those who weren't excited it is a reminder that the "jokester" is only able to be funny because he doesn't have to deal with the "the pregnancy that is no more" or the pregnancy that never will be.
Honestly, exactly. Why do people even care so much. If you're this personally offended by a celebrity making an April fool's joke you need to get a life. 😂
I mean I understand it, I don't agree with the outrage, but I understand it. If Bieber can't joke about pregnancy on April Fools, people shouldn't joke/talk shit about him, cause that can be triggering too. I don't want either of that, but seems like a fair trait.
How could you say such a thing? Do you not understand how many people die a year due to food allergies. My son has a peanut allergy, will never know the joy of a reese's. My mom is gluten free. USA: Man our politics are an embarrassment through and through. Nothing gets done here and it can't get any worse. UK: _Hold me tea and crumpets mate._
Except the US political system was designed like that on purpose. It's built in a such a way that no one political entity can acquire sufficient power to take the whole thing over. Look at Venezuela if you want to see what happens to a "functioning" democrat system that doesn't have these safe guards.
@@palladin9479 multi party yes, but not the two party system it has become, wasn't it Washington or Jefferson who begged in a letter to not have a two party system as they left office?
@@Gitami It's not a two party system, the US Constitution doesn't say anything about political parties. There can be as many political parties are you want and in fact we actually do have multiple. We even have two US Senators who don't belong to a political party. And do more research about Jefferson and the political party he was part of.
To be fair, British politics generally does work fine (and actually, outside of Brexit the gov has done some stuff, there have been, from my perspective, good policies on greening the economy announced). The problem is referenda. Direct democracy sounds great on paper, but can result in gridlock in practice, when it divides the country and puts policy makers in impossible situations (how many voters do you reckon seriously thought about the Northern Ireland border issue before the vote?)

Yeah, he does get a lot of hate, but it was mostly due to the way he conducted himself and the image he portrayed. Is it dumb to hate someone that much because they act like a spoiled brat/jackass? Yeah. Did he bring it on himself? Yeah. There are plenty of examples of uber famous celebrities who are almost unanimously loved (or at least tolerated) because they don't act like spoiled dipshits all the time. It sucks, but ultimately he brought it on himself.
Uberanium He’s also a very giving “dipshit”. He’s given to many charities and has made over 250 Make a Wish dreams come true. None of us have lived under the scrutiny that he has. And if we did, chances are, we’d never survive it. Everyone around him were “yes people”. Combine that with boat loads of cash; any impressionable teen would of been the same way. You’re lying to yourself if you say otherwise.
@@schingh1973 I never claimed otherwise. I'm not defending him, nor am I justifying the hate he gets. I even said it was stupid to hate him, but what I stated was a fact. Some people hate him because he's popular (because there will always be contrarians out there), but that fell out of fashion years ago. It is a fact that he gets this much hate because of the way he's acted in the past. As a side note I do find it funny that people will go on crusades to defend the mega famous millionaire (billionaire?). He needs defending as much as he needs hate, in that he doesn't really need either, and both are ultimately inconsequential because he's more successful than any hater or supporter will ever be in 100 lifetimes. Just throwing that out there.
@@telletubbie13 Well this story shows how the media loves to cover him. A few months ago, they even covered how weirdly he ate a burrito in public (which was later revealed to be staged with a look-alike and obviously fake news). A story about how he is spiraling downward apparently sells!

Never apologise to these people that get triggered by literally anything. It was a joke. There is nothing that's off limit in comedy and if someone is offended that's their problem not the "comedians"
To further this point the joke had absolutely nothing to do with miscarrying and everything to do with baiting the media into a frenzy over announcing celebrity babies. People are throwing tantrums just to feel like they're a part of something

That tweet from that woman is a classic case of "let's make this all about me!"

Stop being Philly sheeps and actually feel empathy for others

the JB joke wasn't that funny, but i don't understand how you can make the connection of that joke to mocking miscarriages
People find ways to get angry even if the subjects are either not related or barely related. Whiny children being whiny children.
