i can hear u talking all day, the voice tone and expressions are so calming also thought i was too stressed for doing that but its more into me being secretive about my feelings and exposing what's going on my mind, i don't like to share things cuz i usually am not heard or understood that's when i need to get it out by trying to explain and telling things to myself. now that u mentioned childhood u unlocked a memory where i was talking to teddies, having imaginary worlds it was all out of loneliness. when its getting overwhelmed i try to write down or use voice recording to make it less awkward and not feel anxious being caught
@@emilyraye5663 I saw a TED talk recently, I will try to find it and link it here...which gives a slightly different perspective. You may like it. While this may be debilitating, it can be seen in an apathological way too.
@@ABhattacharya Sorry for just replying! Yeah... so it turns out I actually had undiagnosed ADHD this whole time, which is probably why my daydreaming was so maladaptive haha. But I do think (and my psychiatrist agrees) that immersive daydreaming (same thing without the bad parts of it) is actually a good coping mechanism because it keeps me active and is a great source for creativity. So with that being said, I definitely think there is a bright side to it and I'm going to have to find that Ted Talk!
