I met AJ Burnett when I was working at a Sheetz gas station in high school. I wasn't 100% sure it was him until he grabbed one of the cookies next to the register, which was shaped like a Batman symbol.
Next customer was Jordy Mercer. A dead giveaway that you're a MLB player is buying the giant bottles of Voss water in a relatively blue collar area

He was eating at the same restaurant as me years ago only a few tables away. Other than recognizing him and immediately thinking, "That's AJ Burnett," the only way I knew for sure is that people occasionally were coming up to him and his wife/girlfriend as they were eating (autographs, obviously). So I never actually met him because I wasn't going to do that to somebody while they're eating, but it was definitely him.

    Couple RefGuess grouping ideas:
-Players drafted by multiple pro sports leagues
-Players born outside the US (to get excited for the WBC)
-Players who skipped the minor leagues entirely
    -Rule 5 Draftees
-Players that have had a Jolly Olive video done about them
-Players who had a relative play in the league before or after them
-Players who were at one point the PTBNL
-Players who never made the playoffs
    -Players with 3+ rings
-Players who became managers or coaches at the MLB level
-Players who weren’t ever inducted but spent multiple years on the HOF ballot
-Players who have hit for the cycle
-Players who have thrown an immaculate inning
-Players who won the College World Series before coming to the MLB (with the Winner’s Circle being able to name all 3 of the players’ college)
-Players who didn’t go by their government first-name
Or *ANYTHING* to try and stump Max for once

Joe Blanton was mentioned heavily in Moneyball because he was the second of their 3 first round picks that year with Nick Swisher being their top pick. And most importantly he played his college ball at Kentucky

Got these in about 10 seconds because I'm a huge Pirates fan. AJ was my favorite player growing up and Neil was easy to see. Remembered Blanton because of all the pitching moves they made in 2015. I thought it could've been Joakim Soria at first but remembered he came from the Tigers and was never a starter. Easily my best round yet and was waiting for a Buccos themed episode. Was expecting some guys from the shitty mid 2000s teams, although I don't think many would have gotten those

Or another fun one would be players who only played on multiple teams but only played in same division. IE if Trea Turner didn’t play for the dodgers. You have the Nats and Phils.
