    Dude, love it. I have a 6'5 15 year old who has some issues like this among other things (arm spiral) and your explanations are fantastic.

    Trevor Bauer recently said in his video that you’re supposed to lead with your elbow and throw more like a dart motion. Thoughts?

      He definitely doesn’t mean to throw like a actual dart throwing motion😭
      Yes the elbow can “lead” meaning come in front of the chest somewhat but the pecks and lats pull the arm into release ultimately. The arm spirals into extension. Bauer’s a troll😂
      Just look at slowmos of guys going from external rotation and into release. Even Bauer agrees about the arm spiraling and talked about the Japanese book about it. It’s just different mental cues for different people and generally we don’t want to actually throw darts and too many people that use that cue WILL throw it like a dart😭 if the mental cue works for him then great BUT if it doesn’t then we’ll who would’ve guessed
