"Dark With Excessive Bright" with David Grossman + Missy Mazzoli

Take a glimpse behind the scenes as Principal Bass David Grossman tackles "Dark With Excessive Bright" for Double Bass and Strings by GRAMMY Award-nominated composer Missy Mazzoli.
Building on its recent and historic catalog of recordings, Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra is set to begin recording the follow-up to their 2019 record, "Jalbert, Bach, Part & Vasks: Music for Violin & Orchestra".
The first live recording date - set for THIS weekend - has Music Director Jaime Martín and the Orchestra joining forces with Grossman on Mazzoli’s new work, "Dark With Excessive Bright" for Double Bass and Strings.
Limited tickets are still available for concerts at the Alex Theatre in Glendale on November 16 and UCLA's Royce Hall on November 17.
