  • Another sequence that was forgotten and rediscovered lately. I've made this while working on my sample pack, Inspiration Kit. I've made a few loops in Koala Sampler. resampled them, then chopped them up and rearranged them into this trip hop sequence.

Very nice! - Haven't used samplers so far in my composing. Do you think the Koala would be a good way to get a grip of this style of music making? :)

Thanks! When it comes to samplers, Koala has a very particular workflow. It definitely has it quirks, but it's fun to work with it. Samplers are usually quite similar to each other in terms of functionality. They differ mostly with the workflow. Cool thing about Koala is the fact that it's cheap and well featured, so there's a lot of room for being creative. On top of that, it's fairly simple and well laid out. If you're curious about it, try it, you may end up having ton of fun with it. ;)

@@Chaotrick Thanks for the thorough answer. 🙂 I just might give this one a go! Getting new hardware is almost always a big step (some steps are bigger than the other) but apps are very wallet friendly. 😁

@@sonikronikElektronik I agree! Hardware is quite expensive, compared to software, but a good piece of software can be a game changer. And hurt the wallet less. 😄
