Timeline & Costs:
I began gender therapy and coming out April of 2007. (Cost per therapy session with insurance: $20. Cost per therapy session without insurance: $90.)
I started T on January 21, 2009. I have been injecting 50mg weekly since then. (Annual cost with health insurance - $50. Annual cost without health insurance: $650 - note that yearly visit to the endocrinologist costs $500 for the conversation and blood work..)
I had my name legally changed (no, I won't tell you my birth name!) September of 2009. (Cost to change it and all legal documents: $180-240ish)
I had top surgery December 2009 with Dr. Melissa Johnson in Springfield, MA. (Cost: $7400, all fees included)
I had a hysterectomy January 2012 with Dr. Travias in Concord, MA. (Cost: $14,000)
I graduated college May 18, 2013 from Skidmore College, in Saratoga Springs, NY.
Total $ spent over 6 years on transition related expenses: Over $23,000

Finding someone attractive or hot and being sexually attracted to them are two different things. Being a lesbian would be the latter, not the prime. I'm not sexually attracted to Skylar, but I have no problem admitting (the now) he looks mighty fine, since he has male characteristics despite being born as a female. Just like a man wouldn't be gay if he found a MTF attractive. There's no need to be sexually attracted to a gender to find them good looking; and if considering someone good looking =s sexual attraction to you, then you're just an incompetent swine.
The only incompetence is you and your reading comprehension. Semi-lesbian isn't full blown lesbian. A male finding a "MTF" attractive would also be semi-gay.
Well considering a object or animal attractive doesn't always inhibit sexual feelings to the object or animal. For example: your favorite color is red but you wouldn't date or have a sexual/romantic attraction to the color red. Same thing with kittens/cars/houses. This logic is pretty obvious and simple to understand.
If a man, for example, said Kate Upton was "hotter than regular girls" and she was "one gorgeous girl", then it is very safe to assume he would enjoy a sexual/romantic relationship with her. This logic is also obvious and simple to understand.
Just because one word can describe both attractions doesn't mean the same logic applies to both situations. If you weren't such a simpleton you would recognize this and not post such a dimwit dumbass comment like you did. It's obvious you find a lot of offense in being semi-lesbian.

I know that some people are against it still, but it's great to live in an ever-changing world where people are becoming more free to be themselves. So glad that people like him make these transitions. They're difficult, yes, and scary, but they make them so mud stronger... they make us all stronger as a community.

Dude, i just found this video again after 3 years and I just wanted to thank you so much.
I met someone on this chat site, apparently one of your friends, and he showed me this video and it opened my world up to transgender people and transitioning. It's taken a lot of time trying to come to terms with it, but I myself have realized that I'm trans, and even though I probably would have eventually figured it out I have you to thank for opening my eyes to the trans community. I seriously want to thank you so much. I remember about two years ago, I watched a few of your videos. Back then, I hadn't came out to anybody already. I was a little confusd about my gender but I knew I wasn't cisgender. You really helped me figure out who I truly am, and watching your videos really inspired me to become more and more comfortable in my skin. I know you're probably expecting a reply from Sky, but I just wanted to tell you my opinion.
I had/have had the same problem as you. From a young age I just like the things that guys did and I like there clothes and what not. When I grew older I realized that you could be transgender and I started researching and stuff. I started getting all hyped about it and thought like I just needed to tell someone. I started out by telling my friends and then I basically said "screw this, I'm telling her..." So I wrote a quick note for my mom and asked her to come into my room because I needed to talk to her. I actually was really worried about what everyone is worried about - your parents not accepting you. She said I was probably just going through a faze, but if I wanted to do this when I get older that she will help me out anyway she can. By the way, I'm turning 13 in October. Everyone thinks I'm too young to be thinking like this, but all I can do right now is try to ignore my dysphoria. I'm not sure if that helped in anyway what so ever, but I guess I tried.

Might I suggest Jiu Jitsu (the Brazilian variant it quite impressive), has an awesome mix of skills, I'll tell you joint locks, nerve pinches and leverage moves will take 98% of the people who will ever bother you straight out of the conversation, giving you more than enough time to use the most important martial art of all, run-fu. Get the flock outta Dodge if there's trouble there.
Just wanted to share that years ago I saw this video when I was trying to figure myself out. This video gave me hope for my own future and I’m so happy that I found it again so that I could say thank you! I’ve been on T for two years now and I am so much happier! Thank you for making this video so that my younger self could have hope that things could change and things would change!
Wow ! I think I first saw one of your videos like 2 years ago and for some reason you came to mind. My brother, who is in the process of transitioning, (FTM), has been looking at many peoples inspirational stories and i was talking to him about about a video I had seen a while back and I wanted to show him. Looking at this now makes me feel very happy, and i'm sure he'll find it great too! :)
