@yolandria no I know that, it's just she's done so well! She's also totally owned becoming an official member, so I'm happy for her :) Also she's younger than the others lol, and has been with Babymetal for way less time than Su and Moa, so in that respect she kinda is
I love how in so many songs previously they have teased us with screams. Momoko comes in and provides! I know there have been other types of screams in other songs but Momo really delivers with this one.
Do as the Queen says dont make her tell you twice 🤣 The happiness in the eyes of the lady who stuck her tongue out was there for all to see . Experience this song twice. i felt the same 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
When the Queen order, you have do follow her order, i almost crushed my bones last Live :P and this MV is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaays better than the normal one for sure :D
For all of those over the years that said BABYMETAL was dead, because of the loss of members, the changes in lineup, and everything else: BABYMETAL bucked all of that with this release, the 90+ show world tour, and the huge collabs. The future is bright.
I love that they showed plenty of footage of the Kami Band as well in this video! The camera on the guitar looks badass and I feel like Koba has afforded a bit more freedom to the band and Su, Moa and Momo to have fun and express themselves a lot more on stage! Let's hope for some more new music in 2024!!
Hell yes!! This was an unexpected and much appreciated drop from Babymetal today! I loved that the Kami Band got a bit more screen time too, and they seem more animated, sweet!
The music videos are excellent, but the most impressive thing about Babymetal is that they manage to be even better live. The sound becomes heavier, faster, still technical-it must be a unique experience, especially with the North American Kami Band
Loved your VLOG of Babymetal John. You are truly part of The One. I agree with another commenter that MOMO's growls should have been part of the studio version. If we do not get any growls on the next album I will be gutted (do you hear me Koba?) Love this song and all your reactions but then it's impossible not to like everything that they do. Greetings from Australia (BM fan for 10 years)
_Wasshoi wasshoi!_ 🦊🤘🏮 John mah man, I saw you at Alan (Dicodec) talking about BabyMetal, so happy to see you there.❤ Cool they finally released a live version of METALI! without blocked issues, the Summer Sonic version is really cool too but unfortunately almost no one was able to get through the copyright blocked. Now you can enjoy the differences with the official MV and of course with that special crowd interaction they did at every live show around the world, although you already know about that iirc. Kitsune up bro!🦊🤘🔥
not hardly. i am 58 and a huge Babymetal fan for last 10 years. you go to a show and there are all ages and races. they appeal to all people not just one generation.
@raycollins511 I'm not concerned about races or ages I'll just have to look into it. I'm more of a 1950s-1990s type of girl but I love new music.im also a huge BTS fan as well.
@@Parkjkookie1831 i was just lucky to find them before they really came big. but i hope you do decide to check them out more because to me they are my go to feel good band. their messages are all positive and good meanings. when you hear them you can't help but feel happy and good and happy after.
For the first time in 8 years, Babymetal have made a MV I can't get my head around. It's just too fast, with the image changing literally every second (time them!) for the whole MV. At first I thought they'd been inspired by the way the BMTH and Babymetal live MV had been shot but that impression disappeared fast. Not as fast as the editing here but pretty quickly. 🦊🤘🤘🦊
Thanks again from Japan 有難う 💛。When it comes to BABYMETAL, everybody prefers live rendition to studio MV. (If this video included cool instrumental intros by Western (American) Kami Band, which are played at every venue, it would be prefect.) As you experienced, this song was one in the setlist performed all of the shows in the North American tour (29 gigs) with Dethklok and EU/UK tour (20 gigs) and other gigs. I appreciate the devoted support by Chris, CJ, Anthony and Clint (and Ryan in NA tour). The title is a synthesized word from two words : "Metal" and "Matsuri 祭 (festival)" → Metali. And if you want to know the deep meaning of the lyrics please check Professor Hartley's channel (Andrew Hartley). Momometal's extravagant elocution and moves in Kabuki style with her growl thereafter gave an amazing accent in the exciting repetitiveness. The repetitive わっしょい "Wasshoi" is a call or yell used in Japanese Matsuri (festival) to stoke people's exhilaration and especially to encourage the power of guys who are carrying a heavy Mikoshi (神輿) on their shoulder that is a kind of a float in Western style festivals.
They've taken a trick from Bring Me the Horizon. Babymetal videos are so cinematic, and this one is so chaotic like the Kingslayer video. Nice change,, like I said when they released Metali with Momoko, if this is the new direction I'm on board.
That "Are you ready?" should have been included in the studio release and video, in my opinion. It's so epic!
I can't express how proud I am of Momoko, she's really been thriving with Babymetal and absolutely klling it 🥺🥺
You sound like she is a rookie who just joined the group. She has been performing with them for years now. Only thing that's changed is adding a mic.
@yolandria no I know that, it's just she's done so well! She's also totally owned becoming an official member, so I'm happy for her :)
Also she's younger than the others lol, and has been with Babymetal for way less time than Su and Moa, so in that respect she kinda is
Momoko's growl gets me every time, i love it

I was at their show in Milan, METALI live is truly a banger 🥁😈🎸!

This is how a Live Video is done! Not just focused on the Girls but putting the Kami Band and the crowd!
The music videos are excellent, but the most impressive thing about Babymetal is that they manage to be even better live. The sound becomes heavier, faster, still technical-it must be a unique experience, especially with the North American Kami Band
Sooooo good live. Absolute banger and might have been the most fun song in person.

I was there, about 4 rows from the rail. The crush was intense from behind. But the crowd vibe was intense and fun!
If I didn't know better, that was cute Japanese Slipknot . Love it
👍 👍
Fantastic reaction.
More focus on the kami band yes pleaaaaaaaase.
I had the chance to see them live when they came through my area as well, and the way I lost my mind when Momoko busted out with that growl...

Hi John! Yes, this song slaps hard live! I saw it 6 times last year and it got me pumped every single time ❤🤘🔥🦊
I'm like the only one who's never heard of baby metal but my 17 yr old daughter does. Must be a generational thing. 😂

It was in fact shot/produced by the same person/team as the Kingslayer video, so your first instinct was correct!
Automatic like!

Can you react to Kasey Chambers cover of Eminem Lose Yourself. It is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
