    Congratulations on the great design and construction. Shocks are impressive and also the belt too. I didn't know 3D printer can do something like this.
    As for why it doesn't drift, I have a few suggestions. First the steering angle is very small so you can't initiate the drift or make it go sideways as easily as it should. Next are the tyres. Seems like they're trying to grip on the floor all the time so maybe you can print them out of a more solid and slippery material. Otherwise you might have to make do with Mini-Z drift tyres.

    Great work man!
    Just a question: I already tried the Gamma print-in-place RC. I used a Lipo 7.4V, but in 5 minutes I literally fried the pinion.
    BTW, I had to print my own pinion in PLA, because it is quite hard for me to find them (2USD each... quite expensive)
    Does it work with bought pinions and 10440 batteries?

    • @kasuraga

    • @kasuraga
      @kasuraga 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Romasu_ Exactly. These smaller scale RC cars drift beautifully if you have AWD and some slick tires or a slick surface. With the rubber tires on my xmods, I could drift around the dusty linoleum flooring we had in the science room like a dream. On grippier surfaces the plastic drift tires would drift on everything no problem.
      Xmods in rwd mode definitely were a nightmare to drift. I think there was some sort of weird tire/diff setup that did make it easier, but with no gyro it's basically impossible I think.
