Good luck getting one, a 2024. Better get on the list now. I tried to get a 2023 in December and no one in Texas (six dealers) could get me one close to my configuration in the next five months. So, if you are patient, build it out the way you want, and are willing to pay a refundable deposit, then go for it and WAIT!

It's still a mix for where the NX is produced, if you browse around on dealer's inventory you'll have some that are made in Japan and some Canada. I ordered a NX350h in mid January hopefully the price change isn't so significant for the 24MY
There is no price change from 2023 to 2024 accord to my dealer. Our 2024 NX Hybrid will arrive in mid April and already gotten the VIN from the dealer. It is made in Japan.

@@jml9550 I kinda do. Owned both NX and RX and the NX had much better panel alignment than the RX. The QC is definitely not as high in Canada than Japan

Yep. We will be getting our 2024 in a month or so. Could’ve bought a Venza Limited but as Lexus owners for the last 20 years, we will continue to buy Lexus.

I just put a deposit on a ‘24 model 350h and it came out to 59K with the luxury package and most of the add ons that are available
I put in a deposit on a RX350h last month. I do not want the Premium or Luxury package. Wait is like 6-9 months.
Today I am able to secure a 2024 NX h Base with options that my wife wants and needs. No markup nor add ons. MSRP $46.5K plus tax fees. It will be delivered by the end of April.

Thanks for the update! I agree....Tesla is NOT a Luxury brand and never has been. A high price (until recently), fleet-like numbers, insane panel gaps, and a horrible ride-quality does not constitute luxury in my opinion.
Yes and just look in side of a Tesla of how Luxury it is not. Even some had said the NX is not that Luxury well if you compare it to a Tesla it's like the difference in night and day.,

A possible indicator the Rav 4 remodel is 2025. Although NX has used an old RAV4 platform before.

Yeah, my wife 350 Fsport i wish it had a V6. Maybe like a 2.5l V6t would hav been sweet. 290hp-320lbs would match very well with this truck.. Good News..
My wife also has a 350 RX 2021 w/ V6...the new have a Freak'n 4cyl w/ LOUD Turbo....Your wifes car has gone up in Value HUGE...Because others LOVE the V6!

They need to give us a fully digital instrument cluster like the rav 4, but upgrade it with showing the navigation map on it to make it look more premium and/or adapt CarPlay 2.0 to screen car play maps onto it. (Like the new 3 series/ i4)

I have ordered one nx but it bugs me knowing im not gonna have the map in my cluster like i do on my bmw from 2019.
@@Donkens it’s embarrassing tbh.. like it’s bad enough that they pretty much part share 90% of the time and just swap out fabric for leather and slap a Lexus badge on it and charge you an arm and a leg! I understand preserving reliability.. but damn.. these other brands are dragging Lexus through the mud when it comes to features and value
I love the light brown leather interior look but you have to get the basic NX/RX to get that color tone but the F sport handling model looks a lot better on the exterior! I want both!!!
But they only offer black/red interior for the F sport!??? Why??? I wish we could build our own vehicle with any option/color/exterior we want.
They should have added more sound deadening to the 350. The RX with the exact same engine is much more quieter.

...............You are hearing the FREAK'n Run Flat tires ...dump them NOW....additionally you are hearing engine noise from the Dog TURBO....get the 450h_ "F" Sport .....no Turbo but Naturally Aspirated engine...however I never use said engine ...simply plug in to 120Volt and drive three days no FREAK'n gas EXTREAMLY QUIET in Elec. mode.... and NO waiting at stations to get hands smelly and getting poluting gas
My brother has a 2012 (I think) RAV4 with the V6. It was a sad day when Toyota took away that option!
Yeah, we have a RX350 and ES350, both are V6s. Love them but not proud of the MPG. Our incoming 2024 NX hybrid should fix some of that.

Typically the 4th model year is the refresh. But Toyota/Lexus seem to showcase the refreshes on the 5th model year more frequently lately. (i.e. 3rd gen Tacoma/4th gen RX/4th gen 4runner/2nd gen gx).
I'm sure most people don't care one way or another. But I'm the type that would rather wait for the refresh than the pre-facelift. The sooner the better.
Seems like Toyota/Lexus are veering from noticeable exterior changes in model refreshes.

Lets hope the 450h+ "F" Sport does NOT change ..i.e. front fascia like the new RX with the part plastic grill mold with dimples looks CHEAT....NOT as distinct.
Deciding between a Rav4 and an NX. The Rav4 is bigger, looks good and is much cheaper.
The NX is too small especially the flat back is not a good look. Less back seat leg room and cargo. And much more expensive. Plus you have to use premium gas.
They dont want to make the NX any bigger bc that will take away from RX sales.
It realy makes the decision easy for me. A Rav4 is a much better value, bigger and looks amazing. If i got a Lexus, i would feel bad for paying almost twice as much for such a conpact SUV.

Kirk, The time change really confused me, is it 2024 already? To be serious, the design changes the NX needs are an interior larger than a Venza or RAV4 and a spare tire. 🤨
Yep it is 2024 Model Year already. Just go a call today from the salesperson today. Our 2024 NX350H with a VIN # will arrive by the end of April.
The updated interior does look better. Was hoping to see the 250 gone for the 24 model year 😅

@@mikej238 I SAID LEAST EXPENSIVE TO MAINTAIN! did you not read that??? the NA 4 cylinder engines that Toyota/Lexus produce are LITERALLY bulletproof and require little to no maintenance and can run on any grade of fuel.. if you can service a Camry you can service this Lexus engine with no troubles. I love the turbo and hybrid models.

Lexus numbers could go up if they could make them faster. It took me 2 months to find one and it won't be here for 2 more months.
Get rid of the run flats and add a space saver spare. While they are at it, ditch the digital latch door handles.

Agreed. The 12" digital driver's display from the RAV4 and Venza would have been a nice addition for 2024. With the new gen of Lexus models lacking the moving gauge ring in the IP cluster, their digital driver's displays just look like they lifted from the Corolla.

The front dash passenger area is still a sore-thumb. I'd go with the 2018-2021 NX Fsport or Executive Package.
Not on the 450h+ "F" Sport! My interior is ALL carbon fiber any where the Piano black is Additionally on the dash above the red glove box cover is a Logo / Badge saying "F" Sport in Red and Black matching the Circut Red and Black seats
The 450h+ for Japan and Canada now also have the option of the Mark Levinson 17 speaker stereo. Can see any evidence of this offering for other markets like the US or Australia? Do you know anything??

I have a ‘23 NX350h. It’s base version and I’ve been thinking of upgrading, but mine is made in Japan and the build quality is excellent. Not sure if these minor tweaks to the 2024 model is worth it.
Mine is also made in Japan, 2022 NX350h, but that doesn't stop their software from sucking.
When you have two keys and two iphones (as in wife and I) in the car together, it gets all confused. Such a simple thing to program. Just activate the profile of the key that opened the driver's door, and the associated iphone goes with it. Can't believe Lexus engineers can't get this done when BMW and others have no such problems.
@@itsm3th3b33 I will agree with you on the software part. It has been a major struggle just to get the Apple CarPlay feature to work consistently. That is something Lexus tech crew need to go back to the drawing board and reevaluate.

Another pet peeve of mine: you can store your preferred position for seat, mirror, etc. In fact, 3 positions can be saved in memory. But you can only recall them when the car is in *PARK*. So if you're on a highway, and you want to recall a position you have to find a way to pull over, put the car in park just to push a button. Seriously Lexus?
This is not safety. It's overzealous. I own many other brands and none of them require the car to be in park to recall a saved memory position.
I'm so upset at lexus for not putting a simple dash trim above glove box on NX. It looks so cheap.
I have 4 complaints on my Nx 450 is the rear door could open wider and there’s a plate covering where the rear speaker should be and I purchased the luxury edition but I didn’t get the wireless charger or the front camera or mirror camera for 360 degrees
.....The only complaint you SHOULD have is that you DID NOT get the Much Better Model of the " 450h+ "F" Sport with the Adaptive Suspension" and Much nicer LQQKing Fascia i.e. the Large Black FUNCTIONAL / not plastic like beemer Black air intakes with the Gloss cross pattern on grill and intakes!

I don’t think Tesla is luxury, but how is luxury determined. Is there a criteria or they just use the name luxury. I was looking at NX last year but the run flats a non no and bought a Venza. I think you said your sister bought a NX250? How does she like it now?

Get rid of the run flats....No brainier get Michelins get MUCH smoother ride, / less rolling resistance and pick up 95 miles to the gal on hybred mode not the adver 89 miles per gal and et 47 miles per plug-in to 120 V and Do-NOT ever use freak'n gas!

I have a 1st gen NX and am not crazy about the 2nd gen. Lower roof line and still not that much space. I’m feeling less and less impressed with Lexus.
things are getting cheap
Rear doors flow directly in rear wheel wells instead of having frame separation between door and wheel well ( salt spray / moisture spray) , the black interior called black is not black (it’s grey) , only comes with run flat tires which are more expensive, a bumpier ride (from zero flex sidewalls) and more road noise and vibrations inside vehicle. Run flats should ONLY be an option. Car should come with Michelin non run flat quality tires with a spare tire and jack. I will not buy Lexus.
I thought they had improved a little bit the combustion engine. Even the torc could be improved a bit more. It is a heavy car.
Here’s a question: if the NX and RX have the same engine and both are 5 seater models and both expensive, then why make two models, just make the RX and cancel the NX. Simplify the lineup.
Because both sell near tops in class. It’s like saying BMW should cancel the X3 and just sell the X5.
@@MikeForsytheX5 has an I-6 engine and weighs over 6000 lbs gvwr. Very different than X3. No such difference between NX and RX. Also NX and Venza are redundant.

GVWR rating is important to US businesses so that’s why I brought it up. It distinguishes the X5 for tax purposes. Overall, BMW is much smaller than Toyota/Lexus.
Nonetheless, Toyota/Lexus are at an inflection point. The market share is going to be cut in half with more sales going to Tesla. These legacy models need consolidation and the old market segmentation is no longer valid. Toyota/Lexus should simplify to 3-4 models on each brand plus trucks going to their own 4Runner brand. It’s drastic but so is bankruptcy, factory closings and layoffs. It’s coming …
@@MikeForsythe exactly. We will get our 2024 NX Hybrid in a month. My wife coming from the RX doesn’t want or need the new RX size anymore. I just told her to pick the NX or RX Hybrid and she still chooses the NX.
you guys don't think the NX350h is a bit loud? its like Lexus FORGOT to put the sound dampening materials that was in the RX. Extremely disappointing tire noise is almost as loud as a truck. Not Lexus like at all. for 2024 --- all they need to do is ADD the sound dampening materials. Luxury vehicle?? embarrassing.
Put it on a RWD platform, give it more power, a much better quality interior, remove the useless gimmicks, give us better tech, and then we’ll have something

Agreed, there's very few compact SUV's with actual RWD proportions: Genesis GV70, Maserati Grecale, Alfa Romeo Stelvio, the old Infiniti FX. That's all I think.

Purchased a 22 NX 350h in 10 /22. '23 came out soon after. Now the '24, so I have a 2 yr old car in 5 months? Lexus sucks along with its awful infotainment system. I don't care about the colors.

2024 will be here from Japan in Early June with a $1200 price jump because it’s a 2024. I cancelled the order and will be buying a Toyota 2023 Venza!!
@@MrKeyman04 😂 I ordered a 23 NX350H I was told in March I would be getting a 24 . In April I found out it was 1700 bucks more for my car with option package. Gave them the 🖕🏾 after a year of waiting. I also had a back up order, Rav 4 Hybrid Ltd ...it arrives next week after 10 months .
And a 24 NX350H is the same as a 23 NX350H other than a few pieces of color trim on the interior.
Lexus is actually LOWER by 6.6 percent, not up.

Disagree with the "Luxury" label - think it's outdated and we should move away from it.
I don't label the iPhone as Luxury. Android can come out with phones with better ergonomics and material, doesn't make it a better overall phone.
It's a high-end phone, and Tesla is a high-end car. A car that's safer, more efficient, more fun, faster than most cars and people are suggesting it's JUST a mass market car because it achieved higher sales volume? Selling a lot of them shouldn't disqualify it from any other categories - sporty, luxury, etc.

Luxury is about refinement and a sense of quiet isolation on the road with cars. Cars aren't phones. They aren't comparable directly. The problem with Tesla's 3 and Y is that they don't ride and feel as premium as some mainstream cars like Hyundai Ioniq 5 and there's a difference between the Ioniq 5 and the more upscale feeling Genesis. One fallacy being pushed is that the Genesis is a cosmetic upgrade. That's not true. It is a refinement upgrade in terms of more sound deadening, more stiffness in the structure to isolate road harshness, and just a more premium version of the platform. Same with Lexus. Changing this to tech is not a convincing argument to suggest it is luxury IMO. You can have aa good amount of sales and still be luxury or at least premium, however.
@@benjaminsmith2287 I think the analogy with the phone served it's point. Coming from a Lexus family I appreciated the isolation and ride quality. You can define luxury however you want, I know the Tesla Model Y is a better overall driving experience
@@j0404t I think we can agree to disagree about the phone analogy. The Y is a great driving experience. From a passenger standpoint, however, the ride quality, build solidity and other aspects of refinement don't match Hyundai's mainstream products that are quite refined now. Same is true of Toyota's TNGA cars like the Camry or even the Corolla. So, it's hard for me to consider it "luxury." It's different in the S and X because their suspensions are more compliant. But they could be quieter as well. Still, those two vehicles are at least premium or premium luxury.
Terrible review. There is absolutely nothing different between a 23 NX350H to a 24 NX350H. Except a price increase of 1000 plus extra on the option packages..almost 1700 bucks in my case.

Tesla may not be luxury, but there is no dealer markup either. Lexus using that cheap droning 4 banger is not luxury.
Tesla’s markup is whenever they want to raise the price. They lowered the price in January because they were sitting in high inventory. We will receive our 2024 Lexus NX350H by the end of April and no markup, no add ons. Just MSRP. You need to be patient and willing to wait.

Nope. All nx hybrid comes with Run Flat tires.

@@jml9550 I was told that Lexus will not repair a punctured run flat tire. You have to buy a new one at $1200. That would be the time to install some Michelin tires.
@@mikem9852 yep, I realize that. RF tires are not to be repair, replace only. As soon as one punctured, I will replace 2 tires on the same axle. This is a my wife’s errand only car around town, long trip we usually take my ES350. BTW, long time Michelins fan. I buy nothing else but Michelins on our cars.
