I am starting to see where the shotgun at the bedside is a definite better choice for some. I once thought that a small revolver or semi-automatic would do but I think about the shotgun being much more to hold on to and the way more damage that it will inflict. New subscriber here and a definite thumbs up for this one and the one I watched previous to this. Thanks!
Nice choice , I couldn't decide so I went with the 870 wingmaster with magpul stock ,stream light fore end , & a plus 2 extension. also got the Mossberg 500 with same Magpul stock and stream light fore end . Then just for good measure i found a Winchester 1300 defender marine with high polished stainless steel it's so cool 😎, i love pump shotguns
Nothing like a good old 12 gauge, they’re my favorite. I have a Mossberg myself, I prefer the tang safety. But the 870 is tried and true as well. I have a bead sight, and I put one of the clip on high viz sights on it also. Plus I installed a rail with a reflex sight, so I have some good options on that front. I have a Velcro side saddle like yours too that holds seven rounds because my shotgun holds 7+1. It has the 20 inch barrel. I have a Magpul stock coming that I ordered because I don’t like the factory stock. It’s a bit too long in my opinion. Feels like my arm is stretched out too far. You got a nice setup man. I probably should mount a light like yours. 👍🏾
Nice setup. I have a small red dot scope added to mine. It came with the micro dot cutout for it. The flashlight mount had another picatinny rail to it so I added a small handgun laser to it that has a strong green laser. I'll take any advantage I can.
I have the tactical magpul edition. Strictly for home defense. Upgrades/changes: non-mim extractor, steel follower, tritium front bead, wilson combat heavy duty spring and xl safety switch, m-lok cantilever light mount with Streamlight tlr-1, qd mounts for one or two piece sling, magpul ms-4 sling, six shell velcro side saddle. Loaded with #4 buck. 6+1.
Sweet setup. You could put a slightly shorter stock on there if you wanted to make it a little more manoeuvrable for close spaces. Magpul or Hogue make really nice ones. (I have both.)
I keep my 300blk and 12ga hot for the bedside and home defense guns. U don't have time to be loading your guns when 2 are 5 people is kicking your door open
Excellent choice. Shotguns are typically overlooked and waaay underrated. 😊
Most people are too scared of the recoil plus they don't think they have enough ammo capacity

if you are right handed, you should mount the light on the right side of the firearm, so it is not in line with your center of mass...food for thought

Nice setup. I have same just looking for some magpul furniture and need some of those adhesive shotshells holder. 😊
They’re just normal Velcro elastic shell pouches but I got adhesive Velcro and glued that on there

6+1.
Simple and effective.
Thanks man
Amen to that!

I’ll look into that
Fine setup. Bead is the way. Shotguns are for closeup. Closeup is for fast. Competition shooters use beads.
Subbed 👍
love it !!! 870 rules in my book..
I’m partial to 870s
