How did you get that opportunity?
Right lol
@@fenwa592 he dreamt about it
it's like 3 separate sounding motors in 1 it's fuckin glorious
where does the engine draw air from now the intake is not outside?
Just don´t breathe ;D
The air in the car
By far the best example of VTEC engagement I've heard
Except just sucking in hot engine bay air 👍🏻
Dam I’m hearing 2 vtec sounds, beautiful work
Will take an NSX over a Ferrari any day 😍 Such a beautiful sound ❤
@Alex M This sounds far better than any ferrari in my opinion. A V12 ferrari might reach some seriously high notes but it's too fast, it doesn't have much inertia. It revs to redline in less than a second and goes down just as fast.
Although in terms of performance, I would pick a ferrari, lotus or porsche compared to this
@@InitiateDee I'd go with a Nissan fairlady personally. I think Honda's fwd type-R series held their own a lot better though.
VTEC goes like "nnnnnnnnnnnGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!".
Got to love it!
need to blip more when downshifting but cool. Now K20C1 swap, build, 700hp.
Why would you get rid of such a beautiful sounding engine for a k series, and then a k series that doesn’t have intake vtec at that...
@@inaNis_ less weight, revs higher, more aftermarket support
@@E82N55 The K20C1 does not rev higher, it's redline is 7k where as this C series tops out at 8k. The other two are pretty valid but it's still not a beautiful v6, yknow?
@@inaNis_ I think some people just wanna go fast.
the thing is you cant trust someone's opinion on their own engine swap. That many thousands invested and it works? you either love it or have talked yourself into loving it.
@@inaNis_ the k20 especially in the RSX type S has it… the lower version like in my accord, the 2.4, despite being bigger has only intake side for … economy reasons i guess
Imma v8 mane myself but GOOD LORD THIS NSX SOUNDS BEAUTIFUL
That actually wasn’t the vtec kickin in, he had just a small percentage of throttle and then he floored it. You can actually see the string that opens the ITBs functioning….
Can hear the vtec activation clearly at around the 35 second mark
@@farcere yeah, that was the VTEC, but most people think that the VTEC was activated right in the beginning of the video, but that was just the ITBs opening all the way
OMG, it sounds like a different car once VTEC kicks. Wicked
Sounds lovely, then I saw the regular cars pass it
No car passed it after it got to 2 gear
Always reminded me of the power band kicking in on a 2 stroke.
It’s like a two stroke 😂
The bridge is of exceptional design too..
I imagine the soundtrack of heaven plays through velocity stacks like these.
That is a great illustration.
I didn’t know I needed to hear this that much
Sounds real nice and reminds me of the 2 stroke dirt bikes I used to ride. Man they had some kick.
I don't know how Honda's V6s sound so different (and so good) but they do. Even on a stock J35, when the VTEC kicks in you feel and hear the power.
This just reminds me of hitting 9K RPM in my S2000. Man I miss that car
This is just magnificent.
Its like when your ears suddenly clear up
So similar to the Taurus SHO's of the time. That Yamahammer would be sluggish and then just rip when the secondaries kicked in
I’ve always been a V8 guy, but this is impressive
That crossover *chefs kiss*
It’s like the engine’s flexing muscles like a bodybuilder
Damn, brings back memories. Sounds like the old sounds from NFS
Literally music to my ears
How can people not fall in love with the cross over
You can only really hear the VTEC change twice: at ~0:22 and ~0:36. Every other sudden change you hear is a throttle opening- you can see the linkages moving.
I really like the high harmonic of V6 engines.
Music to my ears
You first hear the secondary intake runners opening, THEN the VTEC. With no ITBs people often mix up the secondaries with VTEC as the engine has noticeable extra intake noise when they open up.
Soon we're gonna have Nissans with Vtec and Hondas with CVT's what a time to be alive.
The guy in pulp fiction , "keep up i drive fast"
I'm a foxbody guy, but that sounds real nice 👍 and pulls good.
