Oh Lindsay, what a lovely purse and I have to say the color is so pretty. You always find such great deals at the market, especially on the meats this week, the kids will love the maple breakfast sausage, isn't it Jacob who always requests sausage for his birthday breakfast. Your sourdough turned out beautiful, great rise and crust on it when it was finished baking. I can't wait to see what Dave is taking for lunches, maybe it will help me figure out what to feed my honey for lunches too. Thanks, Tania. I was so happy with all those deals at the store, I don't usually find too much meat marked down. And yes, it's Jacob who requests sausages for his birthday breakfast. We actually had breakfast for supper tonight. It's tough to come up with new lunch ideas. Dave isn't picky, so it's not too bad! We're taking the kids to the hotel tomorrow for fun, they're really excited! I hope you've bene having a great week! 😊

Hi Lindsay 👋 😊 Been very busy with outdoor work. I've been on holidays for over a week to be able to get stuff done. Love the handbag and color. Not ready to spend that much on a bag though but it's beautiful and looks to be well made.
Your bread turned out great. Love tater tot casserole 😋 it's always a hit. We're getting rain for the next 3 days here. It's cooled off some thankfully, it was hot and muggy which I hate.
Great grocery haul, some good finds on the meats. Prices keep creeping up don't they.

Hi Dyann, I love the hand bag too, but yes, they are pricey! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your time off. We've been having lots of rain here too, but the sun came out today. Audrey had a field trip with school today, so I was happy to see the sun. Only a few more weeks of packing lunches (for the kids anyway). Have a great weekend! 😊
I agree, I love the color of the purse. I need to learn how to make sourdough or at least find a starter. Great haul. Looks like some great deals. We never seem to have them in our area.

I stopped shopping at loblaw stores for the most part, except for things that aren't perishables. The fresh produce and meat, I can tell it's not good quality anymore. I know it's more money but I'd sooner shop at safeway or save on foods. Save on foods slashes their yogurt prices if they are close to the expiry date.
I've noticed that their standards went down too!!
How many more weeks until your kids last day of school 🏫 I have 1 week and 5 days until school is over and I am so happy to be home
That is exciting! We have a couple more weeks. We go right to the end of June here. Kids are looking forward to summer break! I am too. 😊
Beautiful purse and I'm sure worth the money and less than many of quality. Checked it out but too rich for my blood at the moment. When I do have the funds, I don't mind paying for quality so maybe one day. Not exactly my style but I see in a quick glance they carry other sizes, etc.
The grocery haul uff da those prices are 50 percent off? Wow. High. I thought we were high but I have to remember your wages and other costs are different. The prices almost all sounded double to me BEFORE the 50 percent off. Egg price also high.
It's interesting in that we both have Walmarts and the price variations, although much at Walmart is a rip imo. I also find it interesting the different flavors of things like Doritos depending on where one lives. I've had Doritos in Mexico where they have entirely different flavors than anything I've ever seen here. Your jalapeno one is one I haven't seen but here we have a few new ones out, a Spicy Mustard I think and a Monterey Jack type of chip, think they called it Jumping jack or some such. Almost none are worth the price any longer imo, they have dialed down the seasonings and the chips themselves taste like cardboard these days. I thought it was my taste buds as I age but find my daughter and SIL think the same. And not just with Doritos but also with Fritos, Lays, etc. Jmo though. Quality on all has gone down so bad while prices go up.
Eggs $4. Ouch. But again I forget your prices, wages and economy is different than in the U.S.
I am subscribed but have only watched a handful, don't get a lot of time. I like to see things from other countries and cooking, grocery prices, etc. and from my own. Prices can vary widely here too just from state to state and store to store.

It is interesting to compare prices of the same items in different parts of the world. Prices have sky rocketed and continue to creep higher and higher. I don't often buy doritos now, because the price has gone up so much, unless they are on sale.
