I'm hosting an event for ENFPs in Europe this summer (2022). There will be 15 of us in total. It is a great way to break out of a rut and make a big change. You can watch the video about it here th-cam.com/video/OaeCtaeSV5E/w-d-xo.html or read more about it here: www.DreamsAroundTheWorld.com/Prague2022/
As an ENFP what’s really disappointing to us is when people we believed in let us down just by their lack of depth in character. We as an ENFP believe there’s always something more to a situation, a person, their character . We try to understand their story and where they are coming from , we are naturally empathetic that’s why we always try to make people happy and believe in the good in people. We are really forgiving and see the potential in people. Sometimes it’s hurtful when people judge us for the silliest things , when we have been soo accepting of them throughout.
My best friend is an ENFP and she's so charming. She can walk into a room and make everyone happy just by being herself and at the same time she's modest and kind. She's very warm-hearted and want people to have a good time. If she can cheer someone up she will make it her mission! In terms of faults she tends to overanalyze things people say and do, which can be a bit annoying (because she will talk with me for hours on the phone about something that made her ponder). Also she's very sensitive and need constant reassurance and validation. But she's the best person I know! I look up to her a lot.
So sweet. My husband is an ENTP. My best friend (INFJ) and I have been friends for almost 10+ years, it's been a rocky road at times but probably my closest and longest lasting friendship.
Rachelle that’s great I love it! are you usually the one talking the most? Haha I feel sometimes as if he’s so quiet, it’s just his personality and when he does speak it’s always something profound or funny or just great in some way.
The worst feeling in life for me as an ENFP is feeling like I am trapped. Stuck in a job I cannot leave and in a cycle I cannot break. I sometimes feel like life is fading away and all my many dreams and aspirations are being chained down by my present circumstances. I desire nothing more than to be free, to feel the breeze on my skin and to explore life. To experience new cultures and people, to see all that I can and make a difference with this life until it's no more. But alas it's 12 A.M and I must get to work in the morning lol. Sigh.
I was once in an ENFP Facebook group and suggested that we have some sort of convention or big meeting, but then I realized that no one would want to deal with the logistics (and nuts & bolts) of making it happen. :)
U ROCK. 🌟 We're about to connect conscious ppl with a fun A.i. which is bridging language barriers. Throw a party when you're done! ~ Greetings from Hungary
I think we ENFPs have way more impact on the people around us than we think! The more i work on myself the more people wanna spend their freetime with me and asking me for life advice (even completly strangers). We are very good in pushing people out of their shells and changing their thinking at least for a short time in conversation.
can you talk about how tiring it is when you're an ENFP and you give yourself endlessly and cheer up everyone? I literally find my self exhausted after meeting friends I truly love because I'm temporary empty from excitement, happiness or not anymore cheerful...
That natural habit of people pleasing is bad for us when taken to the extremes, I totally relate though because I’ve been there. We as ENFPs become powerful when we learn to set strong boundaries and learn when and how to say NO
@@belphie4210 I always feel this, when people around do tell me that they appreciate me so so much. but i guess, i just wanted to see the same efforts from them as well? yeah i think that's about right.
My dad always says I’m like a bubble of energy because life just excites me so much!! I also ask the most random questions all the time but it’s just because my brain works so quickly to process the information, sometimes I forget that other people don’t do this and it can be frustrating to have to explain it to people but hey that’s just me. I love being an enfp ❤️
I am so proud to be an ENFP! I survived suicide because of who I am. How I always choose to be positive and look for solutions. Eventually, I work hand in hand with my therapist and succeeded in discovering myself a little bit more and find a cure to my depression!
We ENFP's are warm and affectionate people. We are very charming. We make great managers and leaders, and there is a difference between the 2. I work in management and have met other ENFP's who do as well. We make good leaders and managers because we don't make others feel like we are a boss, even when we are. People respond nicely to this. We have the ability to connect to almost everyone at some level.
You are a true enfp. I can see you make this video because someone's comment. We enfp can't take critics, because we take that personally. Anyway, it's a good video! Keep it up!
You're wrong Chai, it might be something we struggle with but do not define yourself by ENFP. You struggle with time management and criticism? Focus on those in your life as well as everything else, you can handle it the chaos of having too much to do, you're an ENFP.
ENFP here. Actually, I can take criticism very well because I realized that most of the time people criticize us on our result or actions, not who we are. Unless that person obviously judged me or calling me names, they're gonna taste their own medicine 😂
I can't handle critics very well either. Unless if people are able to give critics ONCE then move on, I'll take it very well cz i do listen. but most people are never good at giving critics/advice properly (they would usually say the same thing in repeat and expect to see a change immediately) anyway so eventually i gave them a taste of my mind. they either get afraid, almost wanna cry or hate me immediately, i don't care. i get pushed, they will get the same. i will however go and apologize (if i actually care about that person). cz I know my words can be super duper harsh, many have told me. and i don't do sarcasm. people don't cry from hearing sarcasms.
I have actually seen that enfp's do make good politicians because of the desire to help the wider community (ie the whole world lol) however i imagine because most of us actively seek knowledge we know the corruption behind the politics we wouldn't morally be able to go there. 'Ideally' we'd probably prefer a government full of ENFP's...Peace, love and equality for all....but who will deal with the execution of it all lolol
A government of all ENFPs!? Say goodbye to regular garbage pickup and the transportation system! I'm not so sure about regular government work, but we make great revolutionaries turned dictators :) Personally I would struggle too much with the inauthentic nature, although see what has happened in the US, it is certainly possible to take office without filtering yourself.
ENFP people are generally optimistic people. We try to find the best in people and situations. People come to us for advice because we find the positive in situations. We naturally build people up.
I’m ENFP and just found out about my personality type and thank you for the videos coz it made me understand myself. I’m 35 n always thought I’m different, too enthusiastic, and little crazy for others, always felt lonely coz of that. Now I know that’s just a personality type and that other people out there are like me, it makes my life easier n the burden lighter or gone. ENFPs let’s get together n change the world :))
I'm an ENFP and I love to consider myself a mad hatter. I used to question my own sanity, because my questions, ideas and thoughts were unique and only of my own understanding. It used to frustrate me because a lot of conversations felt shallow and honestly, a bit boring to me. Now I love my insane thoughts! I find that the way I put my ideas out there has an awakening affect on people. I open up what may start off as boring conversations with thought provoking questions. I do this is a childish, fun, curious manner, which helps people not be so defensive to my open minded questions. It makes people think. It entices curiosity. And even if the encounter is short lived, I've had people randomly reach out to me expressing how one idea or conversation changed their perspectives and how I've stuck around like a little mad hatter in the back of their minds. If I noticed one thing about me is that if around me too long, I'll can get you to think for yourself. It's okay to be a bit mad in such a sane world.
Kimberlee Ewing right on! I can relate on the shallow conversations. I tend to say realy bold thing to make people react and think about something. Never realised i did this because of my personality tough
I am also an ENFP, and I always feel that everything is somehow connected, one of the things that i m always thinking about is peoples behaviour around me, and how there behaviour is influenced by there family, culture, education, I even sometimes compare myself with other people and question how someone can be smarter then me, how does that person have more friends or a girlfriend, why are people so attracted to that particular person or why does that guy always gets invited to parties /road trips....and yes, this overthinking and curiosity does cause a lot of depression and sometimes jealousy of others.
I have so much I want to write to this as an INTJ, but decided to not write paragraphs on what you wrote. Overall, I find your thoughts similar to mines and very interesting. :)
why not seek information about the big questions why we are here on this earth, who put us here and why? and start seeking knewlodge to know and dicover our way throught the truth.. best wishes,, i am enfp btw :p
Exactly... i always think about this. and sometimes it gets me bitter when i haven't gotten all those things yet and my friends have. I decide to just keep those negative thoughts inside or it'll hurt someone else's feelings and think that i don't care about their happiness.
smart, resilient, relentless, work hard, great leaders, down to earth, approachable, great at anything we are interested in, loyal, defender..i'm sure there's heaps more lol. Happy camper ENFP here :)
I think the best thing about being an ENFP is taking the initiative and doing "your thing" the way you want. I like to have options and to create options. And as you said, we can feel the room, or the situation and just see the opportunities. We just want to live free, masters of our life. :))
I am constantly imagining helping. Single Moms, children at school who are bullied, the hungry, foster kids, the list goes on and on. The world brings me pain and sometimes I shut down but only in private. I find that I am scattered and want to do it all. I also can walk in a room where I know no one and everyone at the same time. I have very little fear and no filters. That’s a good and bad thing. At 60 I am finding myself. I cut off my forever long hair, spiked it, and dyed it purple. Good luck ENFP children! By the way, I did not talk to people until I was 20. Not sure why? I was so painfully shy that I would hide if the doorbell rang. Go figure.
My mom is an ENFP and I'm an INFJ... She has always been the only person that I can REALLY weird out with... She reminds me to be silly and just let loose sometimes. We definitely can butt heads and know each other's buttons well... But we can't stay mad at each other forever. 😊
For the majority of my life I didn't even know about the Myers-Briggs behavioral types. As time went on however, I began to notice that the work I did in the computer industry (QA Engineer) was extremely easy for me to do, to the consternation of my peers. I always felt as if I was outside not just of the box but of the world around me. Then I began to notice as well as the people that worked with me, that I could predict things or seem to know things that were beyond intellectual extrapolation. I began to predict where Software and Hardware issues were with such great effectiveness and accuracy, that many termed my skills as being that of a Jedi. It was only then that a co-worker recommended that I investigate the Myers-Briggs behavioral types. He predicted that I would be intuitive and perceptive but was unsure of the rest. After taking the test I found out that I was an ENFP however Thinking and Feeling were equal. I would find out later from a brain scan that apparently I have the ability to look at a problem simultaneously from both a scientific and artistic perspective. I think this is why I did so well and calculus I used to look at the equations from and artistic point of view and see the three dimensional graphs in my head. Anyway I just wanted to thank you for your channel and this video in helping us explore our hidden abilities.
Thanks for reminding me how awesome we ENFPs are :) But seriously, I am at a point where I am (again) choosing which career path I should take. I need to remember to take into consideration my strengths and what will make me happy and fulfilled. I do always try to see the good in people and love to help them get to their potential. This is super helpful!
You're welcome! I'm going to try to make more and more content around this topic (choosing which path to take). If you haven't seen it yet, this video may be helpful (it's long and detailed). th-cam.com/video/dipv1wLGY_Q/w-d-xo.html
I read people really fast, I use this to my advantage to boost people and make them feel comfortable, that is how I make friends easy and partners easy. But I can feel very easy bored if the thing I do dont have any purpose or if I dont get any result fast enough, that is what people to. If those I meet dont have any depth, dreams, goals, not outgoing and are insecure I get bored of them quick, that is a con and makes me hard to keep me to one person in a longer term.
Ohh- You remind me of someone that I know- kinda also remind me of Me Before I will say that maybe get to know one person even deeper first before thinking of leaving them because sometimes when you think that you know them already makes it harder for you to not be bored especially for people that get bored easily-- Thats what I do I think of "Maybe there is more to them" thats why I dont leave people now? 😂 is that how I put it? But yes- I thought of that alot now.. Because people can constantly change perday to my thinking atleast I would like telling my experience BEING the one that got bored and BEING the one that got left by someone who is bored at me (But- It'll be too Long but If ya wanna hear it I wouldnt mind 😂)
ENFP Aries here! This channel has given me so much support. I am still confused about where I am going because I want to pursue a lot of things. Now, I'm slowly trying to figure things out and I am just optimistic about the things that are about to happen. Being an ENFP is hard and it may take time to fully understand ourselves.
Thanks for sharing! Also an ENFP and I can attest to the jack of all trades comment. In the past 7 years I’ve had careers in Marketing, Operations, Project Management and Account Management and now Web Development. I was successful in all roles but not happy. Happy to report that I’ve fallen in love with development. Just because we aren’t listed as a more “technical, concerned with the small details type” it doesn’t mean we aren’t capable. I really do think we can excel at almost anything. Honestly, I think some more technical roles turn out to be great fits since we are able to add a different perspective while developing our ability to be more methodical. I’m now in my early 30s but wondering if this is common for other ENFPs as they get older. They learn how to harness their strengths, but it takes time and giving themselves the chance to try a few careers and explore! Thanks for the great videos and helping us focus on our strengths and conquer our weaknesses!
Thanks for sharing this! Personally, I always liked development and programming. I don't think it's my gift but I can spend a night working on my website and time flies. I think a certain subset of enfps pay a lot of attention to detail and can be quite exact with important projects. Dan
hey ENFP here. I am studying computer science to get a career in software development but my biggest fear is that I will completely loose the opportunity to express myself and I will loose my creative side! do you think that happens in this type of careers?
@@pietropiccini4873 how did you end up ? . I am finishing my master in computer science, develepment is fun for me in short bursts. But I think I rather will fit in consulting or in the reasearch&dev-Apparments.
i’m an enfp and i’d love to be in the legal system, mainly in the court, because it’s so interesting and complex and putting together evidence and ideas is just so fun!
I’m an ENFP. Yeah We are good at reading people and We can make people happy and comfortable and connect at an emotional level . We do light up the energy of the room and very positive . We are the best companion on an adventure trip . Always spontaneous and curious . We are good at leadership and taking charge of things . We are just happy people and we wanna see people happy . Also ENFP s are very generous and charitable .
"Can read people in a situation better than anyone else" OMG yes, it's always been easy for me to read my friends. I once figured who out someone I'd literally just met had a crush (I knew the crush and she hadn't said anything) on and he hadn't said anything just from his face and the things he was talking about indicated someone was on his mind.
Our ability to see the best in people and optimism that bad situations can work out in the end also opens us up to bad people and wasted years if we aren't careful. Boundaries are our friends!
Great video for watching whilst at work in a mundane 9-5 with a hangover lol. I am moving into freelance graphic design career, but my background is contact centre management. I always did exceptionally well in those roles because I could think on my feet, flourished in crisis and 100% agree with being a very natural people manager. I also get told quite a lot that I am charismatic - I think this is definitely another strong ENFP trait.
An ENFP hungover on a work day!? I can't imagine how that would ever happen ;) Your comments are very charismatic, so it must be true! Really though, an ENFP on fire can probably charm the (inappropriate comment involving nuns removed)
Thanks for all of those videos, since I realize about I'm an ENFP some of my stress levels have descended because I thought all the crazy things that my mind creates were just unique. Now I'm realized that I'm not alone, the emotions breakdowns are not because I'm a brat is because I'm connected with them.
As an ENFP I'd say our most exciting trait is our creativity and our willingness to learn, I love to find something interesting, learn everything I can about it, and then move on to something else! I have explored basically everything I could find on Dinosaurs, Mythology, Video Games, Science, Movies, TV Shows, and so on! And I love to use what I learn in my creations! I like to come up with little worlds and whatever and try to use everything I know! My weakest trait I would have to say is how I overthink every situation, someone says something, or even worse, tells me there is something to know doesn't say anything about it, that's the worst! I keep coming up with worst case scenarios and I am like "What is it they're not telling me?" "Why won't they tell me?" like literally one day my girlfriend just forgot to tell me something, but told someone else and I freaked out because I kept thinking "what if she doesn't love me?" and stuff like that until she told me what it was and that she thought she had told me and probably just simply forgot... I hate the fact that I can't just think of the simple solution and always has to think deeper and stuff! I constantly think "what if people don't like me?" "what if they think I am annoying but they're just too polite to say anything about it?" and so on... However, our best trait has to be our ability to form connections and care about others, I strongly value loyalty and sincerity! If anyone tells me they've had a bad day, or are in a bad mood, or anything like that, I always want to try my best to help as much as possible! I want to make my friends' lives better, because they've made mine so much better already!
Enfp-Making people feel good makes you feel good. Linking unrelated things into something plausible. The energy you get from being on stage and making people laugh. Making it your mission to understand others.
Hi! I am a social worker and when we have to visit new client's homes they always bring me because I can read the clients and their parents face expressions when I meet them. So I know how to treat them and make them feel comfortable. I could only bring this up 'cause of your first point. However I think the comfortable in chaos point is not too relatable for me. Maybe this only goes if you work your dream job where you kind of have structure already? Hope someone can help me out :) (BTW: I read that the best jobs for ENFP's are mostly in the social, psychological, creative and research side and not commercial)
Aaay! Hello fellow social worker! I got so excited when I found your comment. I didn't realize reading people didn't come so natural to everyone. It definatley helps in regards to working with someone, seeing the big picture, and helping them identify their needs ❤
My sister is an ENFP and she is really positive and energizing to others, she always follows what she likes and what she is interested and does not let "normal" way of living or thinking stop her. She follows her dreams and makes them come true even it seems impossible and that is something I really admire about her. She is usually the one who is talking and sharing her life and passion and want others to do it too, she is a good listener and she keeps being true to herself. And yes she has a lot of interested in things and has many many unfinished books, haha and new ones are coming (I feel that one as an INFP too)
Great video! Positives I might add: the ability to keep options open and navigate possibilities as deadlines approach (more intentional than procrastinating lol), being able to make deep connections quickly, seasoning conversations with humor. I relate a lot to the "chaos" bit. I've been told I stay incredibly calm in crises and as a soon-to-be art teacher that'll come in handy. :)
SPOT ON with regard to ENFPs and their ability to lead and manage in chaos, combat, ambiguity, and austere or dynamic situations. You hut most all others as well.
I just found out about the personality types and it’s explaining so much. There isn’t a place where I want to settle down. I want to be everywhere all the time.
Im an ENFP and I remember in college certain asignments that was last minute back against the wall moments I got high grades. I don't know if its the adrenalin rush, working in high pressure situations, working better where your pushed because it seems if we are in situations that are too laid back sometimes we get lazy.
I can relate to alot of your videos, Its kinda refreshing to know there are people similar to me. (especially since I live in the middle of nowhere kansas)
Dan - get your self into Marcus Buckingham’s books on Strengths based approaches to management. Turns out we waste far too much time as coaches on trying to fix shortcomings / weaknesses. His view, and I subscribe to them, is concentrate only on your strengths ALL of the time. As a coach I began my job attempting to “fix” weaknesses of my players. Reflecting on those years I see massive inefficiency in that redundant approach. Recently I had the pleasure of coaching a poorly performing team. So bad were their weaknesses they had never qualified for the top level national division one championships. I was resource poor and time limited. The only path forward was concentrate 1000% on their strengths - and they had many in equal quality and quantity to their weaknesses. Guess what...we qualified for Div 1 where our goal was NOT to come last in a competition of 12 teams. We came 11th. Twelve months latter under our strengths based approach we came 7th narrowly missing out on the semifinals. Strengths based approach is the way bro...but you know this.
Spot on! Whenever any of my friends have a problem with their phone or anything they always ask me to figure it out. I am also very social but the thing alotta people can't understand is after a few social outings I HAVE to have some alone time!
"When ENFP leads, they can see endless possibilities and potential to its people." That's struck me realllyyy really hard!!!! So true men. But that's unintentional, I don't know why I'm like that? or I'm just too exaggerated?
Learning about this stuff over the past couple days has been crazy! Being ENFP has helped me a lot in sales. When we do trade shows I am absolutely in my element, put me in front of a group and I’ll make sure everyone has a good time. The ego I’ve developed aside, we are kind the best personality right?!!!! Keep up the videos, I’m learning a lot!
As a male ENFP. My Christmas list is just to spend time with my family. I don't want any more gifts I just want a chance to see them. When I was in the Navy I went 6 long years. without seeing people on the holidays.
Being calm in crisis and handling them well is definitely something I notice most of the time. When accidents happened, I usually don't get panicked and I automatically analyze what was happening and spotted the root cause right away.
love the video. One trait that's positive is even if someone doesn't trust you (ENFP) cause you come across flaky or extroverted, you can win just about anyone over. and if you don't, you accept it easily cause you see that person as someone not worth winning over anyway. not taken personally and you don't hate that other person , cause they are just being themselves...we just moooove on. probably make a joke about it but follow up with a respect sentence, stating that you are ok with it. ~love, an ENFP
I find I as an ENFP have the ability to shed positive light on other people’s situation… maybe largely due to the ability to “translate“ from person to person, like you mentioned in another video. My therapist also told me I was better at understanding other people and what was happening in their world and in their emotions than in my own….. good, bad, or otherwise
ENFP here. One of our common traits I most enjoy is being able to connect with people from all age groups and cultural backgrounds and life experiences. I can always find a way to connect.
Ah this made my heart warm!! Needed this as having a bit of negative feedback from work which is making me fall into that ugly mode of self pity. But this experience brought me right back out!! Hehe thanks, you're awesome :D
I think your other video about our shortcomings was great and very helpful for me!!! The only way to get better is to acknowledge your weaknesses and how to work around them.
like it’s not even all about what i want either. for example i really do not think my birthday is special at all. at the end of the day, almost everyday is my birthday 😂
I am an ENFP and a Gemini. I am 17 years old. Idk what to do next in my life because I have too many passion and I become decent in all of them. I am kinda a Straight A's Student and everyone around me expect me to work in a science-related field. But Idk, I love Science, Maths, Arts, History and more... I am struggling to find my ambition. But I do want to bring a good change in society and help those in need.
Gemini too. Though, I am a bit older than you, 18, pronto 19. Soon, starting to work a 9-5 job because of money. After many pondering and self-reflection, decided to pursue a more creative and artistic path. My main goal is to be a filmmaker, movie director. Thus, the plan is to make a fulfilled life with a lot of experiences, so I can make an use of that in my future profession. (I'm pretty much an outgoing person, going to a fine amount of events and parties, but I want more. www.workaway.info This site inspired me so much, check it out.) As you know, we ENFP's love to try a lot of new things and be good at everything, dream about everything, how we could achieve this and that, how we would react and feel if we achieved that, and so on... As a consequence, I started to play seriously guitar and piano. Writing (screenplays, short stories) takes a nice slice of my daytime cake. Still lacking discipline, and time actually, for 2D and 3D animation. All I mentioned plays a role in becoming a good filmmaker in some 10 years. Clear-cut: Am enjoying these things and they are empowering me. I can finally unleash my originality. I recommend you to learn more, explore more (through people, internet, school, job, your current region...), investigate whatever you might like, even a little. Feed your imaginative and curious brain. Creativity needs fuel. ❤
@@valideno9592 thanks a lot for sharing! I actually plan to be an Interior Designer but I didnt take Arts subject in high school (now) and people around me expect me to be somebody in the science field. They expect me to be doctor, engineer but actually I am quite lazy to study harder even though I am capable of doing that. I am quite flexible and I can adapt quickly, so I can go to a med school. But the problem is the journey to be a doctor is too long. I can't keep my dedication that long. Pretty sure I will regret later on because I can't focus on one thing for such a long time.
I agree about your statement on we ENFP want to be good at everything. Yes I want to be so. But is there any job or career for that? I heard marketing is a great career. It needs creativity to attract customers and some sort of science (psychology).
I’m an ENFP and man I struggle! They say ENFP’s are social and stuff which I think I am but when the environment is off for me it can get very lonely. Mostly I prefer being alone and doing things alone because no one wants to do the out of the blue things I wanna do, or talk about the crazy things I wanna talk about. So it comes down to me and my own thoughts, so I go to concerts alone I go hunting for interesting places alone I learn and search about new things alone. It’s so lonely but I find that it’s better to be with myself and do the 1001+ different things I wanna do than sit with a group of people who just don’t seem to enjoy my company or the things I wanna do. Is that normal for an ENFP ?! I mean I am social but only when I feel comfortable I guess this comes down to the intuition thing we have ?
Do you think most ENFPs have ADD? I think most creative people have it and we just learn to tie a rope around it and waterski behind it. As you were describing the ENFP who was hired to handle crisis situations it reminded me of Harvey Keitel as the Wolf in Pulp Fiction.
Had to laugh when you mentioned ENFP would never want to be a politician. This ENFP is one. The ability to connect well with others has helped me in my negotiations to get legislation passed.
I totally agree with you and with riniam nabam. I also see a possibility that this is also a kind of "natural selection" like, *all* type have some boundary which is uncomfortable to recognize, and even more cumbersome to surpass. I don't think we enfp's are _naturally_ forgiving and empathetic but because we had the exact same germ layers, upbringing, social environment, or even trauma, what makes _tendencies_ that make us "enfp"s. But the real hard work starts in rewriting your fixed habits that was coded in you 'til your age 7, and that is only possible with repetition. We also put such a hard work in forgiving others because we empathize with them, but our personal mission I guess is to draw a damn strong boundary with saying *no* , or _logically_ and respectfully remind the other one to the consequences they cause, rather than play a victim role. As my dear friend said, a goal just to 'help' ppl is bullsh*t, but to share your understanding based on experience is magic. So we eventually helping ppl with setting our self respect as a prior, instead of anyone else's business. Just like U do 🤍! ~ _a curious enfp_
I also tried sales in my youth....door to door....did telemarketing....and hated those. I worked as a sales assistant for a small company and enjoyed that until too much drama began to unfold. I do so like your suggestions and will continue to watch your videos. Thank you.
Enfp here. Thank you very much. I can relate to a lot. I don't have a christmas list, but a bucketlist. I have travel a lot. I share my life with a lovely Intj. My strugle is to find balans in my life. I want to learn, have fun, be a good mother, perform at my work, develop myself( personal growth) and so on. Maybe you can make a video for the Enfp parents. I will always give the best. But somtimes that mean that i have to take care of myself first. I didn' t figur it out yet. But i wil keep trying. Knowing that i am an Enfp and knowing more about the traits, has given me more insight and power to rock. Have a nice day!☺️
That would be a great video! Now just one problem...as far as I know (with 90% certainty 😆), I'm not a parent. So I would have to interview some awesome ENFP parents and get their tips and advice. Want to help? Fire me an email dan@dreamsaroundtheworld.com
I'm an ENFP but thought I was an INFJ for the longest time because of a few quizzes but whne I'm at my best and take the quiz, I'm always and ENFP... and I'm pursuing a career in Health Coaching!! So happy to be ENFP :D
Interesting that you mentioned about our curiosity level. It took me years to understand why people would wonder about something, but they never took the time or effort to research the answers to their questions. For instance, when I hear people say something like, “I’ve always wondered why___________ “ fill in the blank. Personally, if I “wonder” about something, the first thing I’m going to do is look for the answer. Why someone would “wonder” about something for years, yet they never bother to figure out the answer always baffled me. 😂
That's right though, I'm the easiest to find gifts for, lol!! Art supplies, books, unique things, jewelry (not so much anymore), organization tools, gadgets, house supplies etc Everything!!!
I am an ENFP and I really like how open-minded and tolerant I am. That, paired with my insatiable lust for life, allows me to go to places and experience things a lot of people just don't.
As an ENFP, I kinda think I’m losing my qualities. It almost seems as if I’m unable to do things I used to do naturally without even noticing. Sometimes I wonder if it’s selfish to think about my own feelings when I’m well aware that the other person is actually going through so much on their own. Welp, that’s messy, lol
Hi Dan, Great video! I'm not sure if it's an enfp thing but I think what you said towards the end about loving yourself is a great thing. I see a lot of people around me who are so down on themselves, and speak so horribly about themselves. Don't get me wrong I frustrate the crap out of myself quite regularly 😉 but I would never say I hate myself. So I think perhaps we can also see the good in ourselves as well as in others. I think that's important. Also I think that although we often struggle with focus we can actually be very focused and a powerful force for good in the world when we find something that aligns with our passions and values because we genuinely want to make the world a better place. Really we're just awesome 😎 Oh and I actually took a whole day off today!
ENFP virgo here! My natural extrovertedness and disorganization makes people feel feel im less of a virgo , because people feel all virgos are supposed to be 'perfectionists' but everybody's different u know? Shoutout to all my disorganized virgos!
Our function stack lets us lead with an extroverted function which is always helpful. I think having both Ne and Te lets us buckle down according to Fi's determinants for our life and that gives us a measure of guidance.
Sometimes it’s hurtful when people judge us for the silliest things , when we have been soo accepting of them throughout.
oh my god so true.
riniam nabam I cannot tell you how much I relate to this.
Too relatable
This really hit me
Oh my god so true!!!
And what is your MBTI ?
Are you an INxJ?
I'm an ENFP and my best friend is an INFJ :)
Rachelle ENFP and INFJ are soulmates. I’m marrying my INFJ partner and we couldn’t go better together than we do.
"We wouldn't wanna be a politician, that would be disgusting" I laughed really loudly, yes mate this is the truth! Great vid!
Awesome :)
Omg I died at that line too 😂I’m crying!! “That would be disgusting” 😂😂😂
Same thought! It's something that disgusts me as well because of the corruption. I can't morally step into that kind of world!
I'd literally trust myself of Everst. Like all that angst. Nooo
Perrie Edwards I’d think it isn’t that bad too
The worst feeling in life for me as an ENFP is feeling like I am trapped.
Sigh.
Me2
hahaha same its 1:30 and im imagining about travelling
Dane Brown Couldn’t be more relatable, but hopefully you’ll get out of it someday and find what you’re looking for
I relate..all I have ever desired is freedom and to see what life can bring
Soooo me.
I think we all ENFP should gather and create something focused on people!! hahaha
We are good revolutionaries :)
I was once in an ENFP Facebook group and suggested that we have some sort of convention or big meeting, but then I realized that no one would want to deal with the logistics (and nuts & bolts) of making it happen. :)
we must allow a single ENTJ, INTJ, and a ENTP. Then we will all be okay! :D
Don't forget the ISTJ. Very good at making stuff happen.
and an xSFJ to cook us food and take care of us!! xD
I am an ENFP and I am starting a company that will bring to light and fund projects that help the planet and humanity! Go ENFP!!
OMG THATS My dream can i work w u? After i finish college( im studying sociology) andd im also an enfp
ENFP here. studying computer science, let me know if you need a website, it sounds like a cool project
U ROCK. 🌟 We're about to connect conscious ppl with a fun A.i. which is bridging language barriers. Throw a party when you're done! ~ Greetings from Hungary
Justadude Love that you have the initiative to go all the way! Good luck 👍
Help me out when u get there lol
We are a Jack of all trades but a master of none
The complete quote is, "Jack of all trades, master of none, but better than master of one."
I'm an ENFP, btw. :)
@@xenaexperiments3984 Same here!
- edit sorry I'm infj 😔 just found out
@@xenaexperiments3984 I like how positive you ppl are
Maybe we just wouldnt consider the idea of mastery, because we know that there is always more to learn about everything.
We as ENFPs become powerful when we learn to set strong boundaries and learn when and how to say NO
This is absolutely correct. I will always try and cheer people up when i can, but sometimes I just feel so empty and lonely.
@@belphie4210 I always feel this, when people around do tell me that they appreciate me so so much. but i guess, i just wanted to see the same efforts from them as well? yeah i think that's about right.
@@niahelmee6890 I guess so
if I see my ENFP friend exhausted for that reason, how do I make them feel better? (I'm sorry, but I can't figure out what others need) ~INTP
I am happy for you, and I am the same way!
I feel this same way and it's so dope when you don't have to explain it to people lol the questions may be random but they all connect ya know?
The mother of a school friend used to name me "Emotions-Flummi" (in English: emotional rubber ball ;-P )
ENTJ agrees.

yesss... and I'm always fond towards the management area or department.

I can only think of ENFP daddy Michael Scott
You are a true enfp. I can see you make this video because someone's comment. We enfp can't take critics, because we take that personally. Anyway, it's a good video! Keep it up!
We naturally disregard criticism because we do not judge, so, when someone dares to judge us, we can react in many ways. Great videos!!
@@niahelmee6890 Sure. I bet. They probably tell you off or just laugh at you. You sound like a big shot behind a keyboard. LOL.
I'm not so sure about regular government work, but we make great revolutionaries turned dictators :)
Personally I would struggle too much with the inauthentic nature, although see what has happened in the US, it is certainly possible to take office without filtering yourself.
Our current president is an ENFP unfortunately, a very bad one
No, he's the french one
You are right. I was in politics for a long time and finally am tired of the corruption and inauthenticity. Now doing real estate.
I want to go to a law school, its gonna be hard tho lol
ENFP people are generally optimistic people. We try to find the best in people and situations. People come to us for advice because we find the positive in situations. We naturally build people up.
So true! "Let's do this! I don't know what I'm doing but I'll figure it out!" My famous words.
Hey those are OUR famous words :)

Same here, 36 and I found out about ENFP a month ago. Life changing for me, I always felt so different, but now I know why
Kimberlee Ewing all hail all of my enfp mates! Madness is the only fun thing in this world if you are an alien lol
Kimberlee Ewing right on! I can relate on the shallow conversations. I tend to say realy bold thing to make people react and think about something. Never realised i did this because of my personality tough
I feel you haha
This is so me!!!!!! I’m so random to people but make complete sense in my brain.
"A bit of madness is key." - Mia, La La Land.
Interesting,i do something similar
Lift weights
why not seek information about the big questions why we are here on this earth, who put us here and why? and start seeking knewlodge to know and dicover our way throught the truth.. best wishes,, i am enfp btw :p
Exactly... i always think about this. and sometimes it gets me bitter when i haven't gotten all those things yet and my friends have. I decide to just keep those negative thoughts inside or it'll hurt someone else's feelings and think that i don't care about their happiness.
Actually main problem is lots of goals at a same time
smart, resilient, relentless, work hard, great leaders, down to earth, approachable, great at anything we are interested in, loyal, defender..i'm sure there's heaps more lol. Happy camper ENFP here :)
I think the best thing about being an ENFP is taking the initiative and doing "your thing" the way you want. I like to have options and to create options. And as you said, we can feel the room, or the situation and just see the opportunities. We just want to live free, masters of our life. :))
So very true! ☺👌

We’re naturally friendly but only when others are welcome for us.
Haha from Colombia..me too!
Dreams Around The World please do! you're the answer to my most recent prayer.
Dreams Around The World check the link to the video? it led to a blank page. lol
I think this might be the first time in history I have been the answer to any woman's prayers!
Ohh- You remind me of someone that I know- kinda also remind me of Me Before
I will say that maybe get to know one person even deeper first before thinking of leaving them because sometimes when you think that you know them already makes it harder for you to not be bored especially for people that get bored easily-- Thats what I do I think of "Maybe there is more to them" thats why I dont leave people now? 😂 is that how I put it? But yes- I thought of that alot now.. Because people can constantly change perday to my thinking atleast
I would like telling my experience BEING the one that got bored and BEING the one that got left by someone who is bored at me
(But- It'll be too Long but If ya wanna hear it I wouldnt mind 😂)
I can't imagine how that would ever happen ;)
Your comments are very charismatic, so it must be true!
Hey man thanks, you're cool! Rock on ENFPs!
Thanks, I'll take the compliment!
ENFP saved my life. Met this guy at work and he talked to me and helped me a lot.

Hope someone can help me out :)
(BTW: I read that the best jobs for ENFP's are mostly in the social, psychological, creative and research side and not commercial)
I love being an ENFP 💓 I took like four personality quizzes and got the same results over and over, so yaayyy
ENFP leo here!
I agree with this video. And yes.. WE RULE!
AHA ANOTHER ENFP LEO
Im an ENFP and I remember in college certain asignments that was last minute back against the wall moments I got high grades. I don't know if its the adrenalin rush, working in high pressure situations, working better where your pushed because it seems if we are in situations that are too laid back sometimes we get lazy.
This is true lol I learned binary code in two days just cause I wanted to then guitar and drawing and video games the cycle never ends
I can relate to alot of your videos, Its kinda refreshing to know there are people similar to me. (especially since I live in the middle of nowhere kansas)
There definitely are more like you! You may also find that if you move to a larger city you will meet more and more people with a similar mindset.
YO! I live in Kansas too! Let's meet up.
Hh
lol me too lets go
Dan - get your self into Marcus Buckingham’s books on Strengths based approaches to management.
OH MY GOD PEOPLE I CANT BELIEVE IM READING A DIARY HERE! ENFP GATHER UP LETS HAVE A GROUP HUG!!! *IMAGINING MY HANDS GROW LONGER TO REACH EVERYONE*
Sheeshhh don't tell the other types ;)
I feel so lonely caus i don't know any enfps. I wish I can have a soul mate whose just as crazy as me
I am as crazy as you!
An ENFP
Find an INTJ!
Also, I'll be your friend.
So true! Well, as long as the person is interesting or witty!
as an enfp sounds like i chose the right career path as an aspiring social worker! i love seeing the potential in ppl :)
Ah this made my heart warm!! Needed this as having a bit of negative feedback from work which is making me fall into that ugly mode of self pity. But this experience brought me right back out!! Hehe thanks, you're awesome :D
I think a pretty great strength of ENFP is that they're really tuned in to the role of the community on a project they're working on
Any other ENFP who has to listen to video's on 1.5 speed so that you don't lose interest?
I think your other video about our shortcomings was great and very helpful for me!!! The only way to get better is to acknowledge your weaknesses and how to work around them.
Thanks Britani
like it’s not even all about what i want either. for example i really do not think my birthday is special at all. at the end of the day, almost everyday is my birthday 😂
(I'm pretty much an outgoing person, going to a fine amount of events and parties, but I want more. www.workaway.info This site inspired me so much, check it out.)
As you know, we ENFP's love to try a lot of new things and be good at everything, dream about everything, how we could achieve this and that, how we would react and feel if we achieved that, and so on...
This is literally the most accurate overview of us!!! Lol thank you for this
It's crazy the level of relatedness I am in!
"we don't overthink things" now I'm really questioning my ENFP identity.
We definitely can overthink as well
Don't lose any sleep over it. Just be yourself and don't put yourself in boxes.
ENFP Aries!!
Me tooooo
Samee
Same!!!
Thank you for spreading so much positivity.
Had to laugh when you mentioned ENFP would never want to be a politician. This ENFP is one. The ability to connect well with others has helped me in my negotiations to get legislation passed.
As long as you're not a Republican.
Thanks for the positive message in this allowing us to realize and embody our strengths confidently
Enfp capricorn here ! 🔥
ENFP Capri-quarious. Born on the cusp of capricorn and aquarius. Probably mostly aquarius
Thanks for your honest reply.
You're great!! You're all great 😁 thanks for being!
Okay I officially believe I'm a robot! How did you know so much about me?
It’s not (K)Impossible for him to find that out when you share the same personality type hehe
Really we're just awesome 😎
Oh and I actually took a whole day off today!
Gosh I rule! I'm the non-judging, always dancing, art analyzing, ever curious friend that gets you into memorable trouble and success
I go from being an enfp to an infp each time I do the myers briggs test but I much prefer and LOVE enfps!
me too
Good performers and actors read peoples energy - and best ones can change it (for the better hopefully).
I love creating! It dosnt matter what it is
I'm an INFP and I truly love ENFPs. fav personality type out of all.
Winning :)
