hi nick! i know you’re already 4 episodes in, but i’m just here to recommend you watch this show using netflix’s english language subs instead of closed captions (cc). recently a couple things came out where korean speakers stated that the cc subs have a lot of mistranslations and meanings are lost, but the regular english subs are better. :) love your vids!

So for those who don't get the mask order of the guards the circle is the lowest (the workers of the game) the triangles hold the guns (the enforcers) and the squares are the highest of the three, the front man and host obviously being above them given their own special masks. Just a little help for those confuzzled still.
The girl's name, Se-pyeok (새벽) means 'early morning' or kind of an equivalent in feel to 'Dawn'. :D Just wanted to share. It's a really pretty, hopeful name.
Honestly it would make sense that if this place was on a budget which clearly they're not because of how much money they're giving away that they would have given smaller meals when there was more people to feed and they would get more as there's less to feed so it's like the same amount of money being spent on food each day but no it is 100% about making it more difficult for them to do what they've got to do and turn on each other
