@@nickflix8657This show reminds me of my father died sadly, and never got fun stuff together, and things in the past that I didn’t like about me, I was very sad about those memories of my young age, me being in trouble, and me sad in Grade 1-4 that I got trouble sadly, and my memory of mine was very emotional and brutal, and I want you to be happy and see you being happy with your life, and my life being 13 is great, so you’re awesome and a great TH-camr, and me very kind and sweet, and always there for my family and friends 🥲🥲🥲, so I’m very happy for you. By German
My favorite thing about the scene when he sets down his mask is that it’s a major clue as to who it was before the reveal in the finale. A wise old owl.
I appreciate your empathy to Sangwoo in the end. You don’t take the events of the show at face value. Some people don’t understand that they can feel sorry for both Ali and Sangwoo. Yes Ali is a better person and Sangwoo is a criminal but in the end they were both in this shitty desperate situation.
actually, the title One Lucky Day is from the novel titled One Lucky Day. In that novel, the protagonist is very poor and his wife is very sick, and she really wants to eat Seolleongtang(the food name). And one day, he earns more money than other days and he decided to buy the food for his wife. But when he was back with the food, his wife was already dead. One lucky day means he gets to earn more money, but at the same time actually it contradicts his situation because his wife died that night.
Nah, just this short story makes me cry. Like this hits me harder than anything. Like the happiness of finally having more money and buying something you've talked about with your partner. The character probably also wanted to surprise them, it would've been so sweet. But the only thing there is, is sorrow and misery. I just can't.
Damn. It hits even harder now when Gi-hun realized that he also lost his own mother. The fact that he wasn’t by her side the whole time is just…utterly depressing.
Sangwoo was committed to dying - he is smart and knows how to play and also the rules. He made sure he made it until it was secure that either way his mom would be taken care of - if Ki killed him and both Ki+Sae decided to leave - his mom would have gotten the money because he know Ki was softhearted (he wouldn't kill Sae in the end if it ended up being those 2). If he wasn't walking out with the money; he ensured that at least Ki would in the final. Sangwoo was the best player in the game.
I don't think he stabbed himself because he couldn't deal with what he did but was actually a very calculated move to make sure the protagonist doesn't try to throw away the money to save him, since he'd rather his mom get some of that money, and die which he feels his friend might do. He was already suicidal before he even came back to Squid game as he was trying to kill himself with carbon monoxide poisoning in the scene where he was in the bathtub. To him it was always either to win this game or death. He felt he had no other options. I really don't think it was remorse, but that.
I agree. He needed the money for his mother rather than himself, and as long as the other players were alive, he couldn't be sure that she would be looked after. Gi-hun was ultimately his friend, and Sang-woo knew he would look after her, and therefore he was the only player in the game that Sang-woo couldn't comfortably kill himself for.
He could be calculating and remorseful at the same time. These two things are not mutually exclusive. He killed himself, so that Gi Hun would get the money and help his mother AND he also felt shitty about the things he felt he had to do.
Thank you for watching the entire show with us. It was such a wild and interesting journey. Also, when you think about it, after the fourth game the game master got this call where he responded „I‘m glad you enjoyed the game“ or something along those lines. That must have been from the old man then. Rewatching the first episode again also kinda revealed that the sensors of the Robo Girl didn’t quite scan him the same way others were detected. What brilliant writing this show has in general.
The entire crew of this show were absolutely amazing. The crew members, the director, the producers, the writers, the sound team, the actors. They really made an amazing show in all possible aspects. It was thrilling, suspenseful, and extremely emotional. I cried all over again just watching it through your reactions. It was fun seeing you react to this series!
So, after seeing some comments around in regards of Seong Gi-hun’s decisions at the end and how he “was wasting time“ while doing nothing, I felt like sharing my opinion and thoughts about it too. 👉👈 I personally think that it’s quite harsh and entitled to expect from him to proceed with his life and taking care of those promises right away. He is the “winner“ of the Game. Winning a Game or Bet was always such a big deal for him. Remember how euphoric he got every time he won? Even when he lost x times before or when he didn’t even make the amount back he invested, winning made him feel like the King of the World. (Which was also said about winning the Squid Game at the beginning of the very first episode) But does he feel like a winner now? No, he doesn’t. Not even all this money can make him happy like winning a game used to be able to do for him, because the price he had to pay in form of connections with people who were dear to him was just too high and not even all the money in the world can bring this back to him. He feels guilty and probably more like a loser instead of a winner, because in the end he still lost so much more by participating in these games. Try living with that feeling and Trauma. And then, when he was finally able to head back home so he can help his mother and show her that she doesn’t have to worry anymore, like he promised after she left the hospital, he couldn’t even hold onto that because it was too late. He basically went back into the game because the incident with his mother was something worth risking his life for, but now she’s gone too and the worst is that she probably died all alone without knowing where her son went and what he’s going through in order to get his life together again. So I’m not surprised in the slightest that he needed a year before he was able to move forward again with his new set motivations in life. He must have been so broken that there was literally no strength or hope left in him anymore. He had to go over all of this trauma and loss. He had to rebuild his life from scratch. He had to pay back all of these debts. All of this while apparently barely using any of the money he won in the Game, because he feels so awful about using it, probably because this money feels almost like one big bribery built on all these lives which were taken in the Game. Figuring out all these things take time, not only to go through but also to reflect on. But as soon as he got that extra push by Il-nam he finally got the strength back to fully move forward again while keeping his promises and planning things through. And to get yourself back in shape is important too in order to move on. He didn’t want to see all of this sorrow and regrets in his face anymore, so it was time for an entirely fresh new look. It’s a shame he couldn’t go and see his daughter like he wanted, but I think on the other side he was simply done with looking away and doing nothing while the next set of players are about to get unknowingly invited to these Games. His daughter will be fine, she is in a good, secure and caring environment, but can you say the same about all these people who are going to enter the Game? Could you just move on and never look back when you know more people are about to die? Seong Gi-hun surely can’t. If we learned one thing about him during all this time, it’s that he‘s someone who cares about others. And He went out of his way like no one else in order to help, even if it meant that he could have lost his own life as well. And now he is done with playing games.
YES. Finally someone I agree with! I know it's fair for people to get mad at him for not getting on the plane, but all I can think is "Yes! Go back and tear down that system from the inside out!"
Also, he won 1 last game... someone helped the guy out on the street and to see some good people still exist could have gave him that push to fulfill his promises... I agree with you.
When explaining the game for the first time, the prize money is given to those who pass 6 games, not 1 winner. The last squid game is also a team game. If we work together, we can get many winners. However, with people's greed, there was only one winner every year.
You definitely have a point. I think you’re right in that officially being the rules, but not that the reason that only one winner survives is because of peoples greed. The games, and especially the time between games, are designed so that the people in charge can make sure that only a number of people get through it. They gave them less food when they wanted them to fight, but only let them brawl for a little while to make sure that not too many died. Before the last game they gave the surviving three knives to make sure one of them got killed in the night, but they stopped the last two players from killing each other, so there would be a last game at all. The system is made to be controlled from the top. It might be different if the players were more aware that they had the opportunity to win as a team, but even then the game makers could just change the games to make sure they had no choice but to kill their team mates to win (like they did in the marble game). It would not work this perfectly to only get one person out every time if it wasn’t designed to do that. People are not that ruthless on their own account - it’s what they’re taught to be by the system they exist in. They feel like they have no choice because to a large extent they don’t. It’s not only the rules that are written down that counts. Same goes for the world outside the games. At least that’s my analysis of what’s going on.
All throughout the series, there's little hints about the old man. First, he's player number 1, his name translates to number one man, the neighborhood in the marble game seems to have been fashioned after his childhood home, some people say he wasn't outlined as a target by the doll during red light green light, and his cuffs weren't locked during tug-of-war so he could've easily slipped out of then if his team started going over. Plus, in the VIP episode when we first see him in his golden owl mask, the hands that take it off are the hands of an elderly person
You forgot what is actually my favorite one, and which I actually noticed while watching Nick's reactions: during the riot, the guards only intervene after 001 screams in fear and begs them to stop the fight. He's not talking to the other players, he's actually talking to the staff. Also, this is not actually a hint but a little something else that makes sense in retrospect: even if he claims that he let Gi-hun live because he had fun with him, I suspect his plan was to forfeit the games after the marbles one all along. There's no way he could have even jumped in the bridge game. Probably he was even expecting to be left with no partner for the marbles game, then people would come back and not find him and assume he had been executed.
@@MiruJaca another thing about your point with the riot. I never really thought about it until now but that's something that should've tipped me off that maybe something was different about the old man. Why would the guards have cared if some old guy said he was scared when they're literally killing these people, unless there's something else going on.
@@MiruJaca plus, if he never got picked for the marble game, that would make it fair for the odd number of people because everyone who was an actual contestant would've gotten a partner.
@@jneumy566 Well, actually I've thought about it a little more and arrived to this conclusion: Il-Nam's plan was to play the marbles game from the beginning. Of course he would want to, he loves games and marbles would be one of the easiest for him to enjoy. Maybe he was planning to let his opponent win, whoever it was, and then pretend to be executed as he eventually did. But that wouldn't have been fair, so maybe he was actually planning to try to win, and if he did he would find some way to avoid playing the bridge game. Hell, maybe it would have been a different game altogether if he was still playing by that point. Then the thing with the doctor happens. One player is unexpectedly killed and the number of players is now odd. And what I said before happens: he thinks he's going to be left without a partner, which actually makes him really sad. Then comes Gi-hun and chooses him. And THAT'S what makes Il-Nam let him live, because he's genuinely grateful he got the chance to play the marbles game thanks to him.
I actually heard about the outline thing in red light green light and the lock thing in tug of war from a video I didn't bother watching since it looked very clickbait-y, but it doesn't hold much water. I checked those scenes and at most Oh Il-nam's outline was maybe like a shade lighter than the others which could easily be chalked up to perspective, and he was definitely locked in during tug of war. Even if he wasn't locked in during tug of war he almost certainly still would have died since he was in the middle and would have been dragged down by the others.
This entire show is so similar to Would You Rather expect Squid Game is much more glamorous and grand, where as Would You Rather is much more horror and a movie.
Saw this somewhere and it blowed my mind! All of the character's death were foreshadowed in episode 2. Ali was eliminated because Sang-woo took his marble the same way he took the money from his Boss. Deok-su jumped off the bridge and was eliminated by falling off the bridge. Sae-byeok was stabbed on her neck the same way she threatened someone on neck. Sang-woo almost committed suicide in the bathtub and was eliminated from the game by killing himself. The old man died from Brain Tumor. Finally, Gi-hun swore on his mother's life and his mom died.
Nick, I have to say this right now ... You are one of the most precious persons in the world! So pure, so empathic ... I respect you so much for that! Greetings from Germany!
I've been checking my phone all day for this! I can't WAIT to see your final reaction, Nick! I'm so excited my friend! My daughter and I have theories on how season 2 will go. She thinks that past "winners" will come back & compete. Neither of us think the police officer is dead & he's still in play.
@@nickflix8657 Hey You! I just read a comment below from someone that mentioned disappointment he didn't fulfill his promises for over a year. If I remember he told Sae-Byeok 1. Help the brother. 2. Help the Mom 3. Be a better Father. Interesting observation that I didn't think about. Begs the question - how long would it have taken him if Oh II Nam hadn't sent the flower? I've been reading different articles & interviews since I finished and their was a list of clues in the show that Oh II Nam was behind it. You actually caught quite a few of them, Nick. He was always happy - which you noted many times. During Red Light / Green Light he was the only person smiling. There was no outline from the doll around his body. He was in no danger. He wasn't changed to the tug of war. His only "fear" was when fighting broke out. He couldn't control the situation. He looked at the camera and said "I'm scared" is why the Front Man said "go in & stop it". Many more - 11 clues I believe. I also feel this is one of the best series I've ever seen. Sopranos being #1, Breaking Bad #2, & Sons of Anarchy #3. This was a mere 9 episodes but its now my #4. Can't wait for Season 2!
Even though I watched this show already (twice infact) it was fun to "watch" it again with you and it felt like I was watching it with a friend. I have been doing some resin art while watching your reviews, so it kept me entertained while creating some art.
SPOILER!! SPOILER!! His mom’s death is even more sad when you realize she died on the same day of the marble game when a lot of good people died. Dang-woo’s mom said she hasn’t heard her in 2 days, which 2 days ago was the marbles game.
To add a little The title of the episode with mom’s death it is from a famous literature of korea named “one lucky day”. Its like returning to classics to us (korean tragedy) though we knew what was coming, the inevitableness of facing the reality made it more tragic.
I read the scene where he kills himself a bit differently, not that he had any remorse for his actions but that he would rather die than return home without the money
To be honest when the old man asks him to play one last game and nobody was showing up I thought Gihoon would go and help the homeless man. I get that the way they did it means that yes there are still good people out there who will help others, but he was watching that guy die without doing anything, just like the old man. I felt like it would have been a nice touch if he ran downstairs to help him, and then decided to use the money to help people so that they would never have to choose to attend the game. But instead he is just passively watching as someone is dying and it just ties him to the old man and the VIPs who just watch the game wondering how it will end without ever stepping in to actually help.
That one wasn’t as really a shock to me. It’s usually a trope for most of these survivor/human hunting/trafficking and mass murder with the elite of society stories lines that the person the contestant is fighting for usually dies or goes through a lot of trauma/abuse since they left. It poses and really enforces the moral questions “was it even worth it? Would things be different if the main character stayed in their current situation? Would the results still be the same since they had a reason to join the game in the first place?” Example: Gi couldn’t afford his mother the health care she needed before the game. So would she still have died anyways since they set up the idea that Gi couldn’t afford the treatment she needed or did she die because Gi wasn’t there to watch and take care of his mom, the same way his mom worked elevate some of her son’s stress and debt and was still there for him even though she knew he was a screw up? Even though I saw it coming and I knew 99% that’s what was going to happen, it still hurt. Especially seeing Nick’s reaction.
And then, there was me seeing the old guy episode 1 and being like "He is 001... I suspect him" and since we do not see him getting shot, I knew he was a part of it. Nick is so precious for not getting it till the very end, protect that man at all cost
It's absolutely hilarious how happy you got when you thought the old man was alive without even having a thought that it could mean he is a bad guy who is behind all of it. It's amazing. lol
Gi-Hun saying "Mom, I'm home." haunts me. She most likely died thinking he was out gambling more money while she needed his help. Meanwhile he was struggling to stay alive and get the money for her. If only she was able to hold on a little longer.
Seeing your reaction to this series was so beautiful. All of the emotions i experienced when first watching this series, i got to experience again thanks to you
There were so many hints but my favorite one was during tug of war. After they win, when they’re all laying on the floor, they zoom in on each of them. Everyone but Oh had a lock on their cuffs. He would have survived if they lost.
It's a filming error actually. You see a split second when the chains are being put on, they put his on too. And when they're pulling, you don't see a chain. Then when they're laying down, he's attached.
Has everyone noticed the games were revealed since the 1st episode? It was hidden by the beds but the hints were just right there^^ you can see drawings/sketches on the wall that represent all the games they will play💡✨😎
This particular episode has left me completely shattered. I just don’t know who to root for anymore. Sure, there is Gi-hun, but then again we lost Ali, Sae-byeok, Mi-nyeo, and the list goes on. At least we don’t have to worry about Sangwoo at this point. Also, I still feel betrayed by Oh Il-nam (the old man) cause he’s the mastermind behind all this.
Fun fact: all the games were on the wall where the room with the beds are but it was just covered by the beds, the players could've seen the games they were going to play. You can see that in episode 8 where the room is empty. Another fun fact: there were many clues that Oh Il-nam was the mastermind behind all of this cause in the first game if you look closely you can see that the thicker green line outside Il-nam's body was not there, and other eastereggs and another theory is that Oh Il-nam is Gi-hun's father but it's just a theory so we don't know
It’s like Haymitch in the hunger games says “There are no real winners of the hunger games, only survivors.” I feel the same applies here and to life in general. Sometimes you can have everything but nothing at all in both senses. We all really only survive life and how we do it is our own painful experience
most of reactors show their anger seeing gi hun got the name card written gganbu and notice that the player one is the one who played everyone. but nick was happy to merely know that the old man is alive. weird but look so pure he is lol.
I finally can say it...I *NEVER* trusted the old guy, since the very 1st game! The fact he was *SMILING* while people around him were being shot by a giant doll made him hella suspicious from the very beginning! The more you were getting attached to him,the more I was feeling bad for you! Also, notice these before/after the game coincidences... *The Tatooed Guy* Before the game:he ran away and jumped over a bridge. Cause of death:he fell from a bridge. *Alì* Before the game:he stole money from his boss. Cause of death:he was stolen by his"friend". *The Main Character* Before the game:he swore on his mother's life. After the game:his mother died. *The Main Character's Friend* Before the game:he tried to suicide. Cause of death:suicide. *The Girl* Before the game:she threatened to stab a man. Cause of death:she got stabbed.
The whole concept reminds me of "Citizen Kane". The movie also was about a rich guy, who was dying and in his last word (Rosebud) there lies a secret and the secret is, that all the money he made in his life, all the success was meaningless, couldn't buy him back the happiness he had when he was a kid, before he got rich.
He's not abandoning her. She is with her mum and her step dad. If he leaves and doesn't try to stop the games that's something Sang Woo would have done. He is putting everything to one side to save lives. He's sacrificing yet again.
I don't think I ever got that far to the ending, I couldn't continue after seeing the mom die but I am so glad to be able to finish it on this channel. I'm saying it again Nick, I would love to see you react to "Romance is a Bonus Book," another K-drama that just rocked me to the core and was absolutely amazing.
Omg thank you Nick for posting this! (Again commenting before I actually watch this because I know I’ll enjoy it whatsoever lol) so Excited to watch it! Yay!
i suspected 001 from the very beginning. not only was he way too enthusiastic about the games, we also never got to learn about his situation in ep 2. like they showed all of the main characters and what motivates them to join squid game, except for him. he just joined for the lulz haha. also, we never got to see him die so i was like 🧐🧐🧐
Enjoyed the show and the reaction videos! I'm really hoping for a season two, and some more characterization for some of the secondary characters (like the police officer's brother or the guy from The Train to Busan!). Great to see your kindhearted perspective!
Nick, i was waiting so much for this final reaction, i'm so happy right now hahaha If possible, I would like to ask you to react to more Asian series, there are several very interesting series out there. A series that has the same style as Squid Game is Alice in Boderland (which is also on Netflix), I highly recommend it! Kisses from Brazil ❤️
There's a theory why Gi Hun dyed his hair red. Pay attention: at the beginning he chooses a blue 'square' during the first game (the 'ticket' to the Squid Game), and the man in the end chose blue as well. Gi Hun was under control during the games, but now he tries it get in control. (There is another theory that those who choose the blue square become players and those who choose red become guards, but who knows?)
Congratulations and Squid Game Facts: Old Man, Player 001 (O Yeong-su) won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor for his Outstanding Performance. Player 456 Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) won the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Award for Best Male Actor in a Drama Series and (Our Girl), Player 67 Kang Sae-byeok (Jung Ho-yeon) won the SAG Award for Best Female Actor in a Drama Series, also for their Outstanding Performances in Squid Game.

I want you to check out another Korean drama called Mr Sunshine, it’s a lot longer then squid game, but the story is amazing, and the guy who plays the front man Lee Byung-hun is the main lead.
Just fyi, there is a famous Korean novel titled "One Lucky Day" which is abt an alcoholic husband came home with his bedridden wife's favorite food only to find her dead. So the title was a forshadow
To be honest the first time i saw the old man i made some assumptions about him as I found some things weird. It was weird for me that he was no 1 player or that he was the only very old person so i thought that maybe he played this game many times before and he actually knew from the beginning everything or something. But when the front man said something about the host couldn't attend the game and then when they showed the old man in the bed i then immediately guessed that he was the one behind all of that. And let me tell you i felt betrayed...i really loved him as a character. Before he "died" i was really sad as I was watching him playing for the last time, cause i knew they would kill him...gosh episode 6 was so intense. Loved this series and I can't wait for more.
Most people realize the old man is a mastermind of the game the time gi hun read invitation card. It's funny you don't realize that and feel happy he's alive hahaha

We need to protecc.
I will die to make sure Nick wins the next Squid Game. Who is with me?!

My favorite thing about the scene when he sets down his mask is that it’s a major clue as to who it was before the reveal in the finale. A wise old owl.
Ngl, I thought it was like a house cat
I thought it was a rabbit. pfffttt
It was a manbearpig. Go watch it again
I love how u are not afraid to show ur emotions. We love a man who can cry❤️❤️
I love women who know how to cry without shame too.

@@ocelot815 yes but a lot of people think of it as weakness and/or feel the need to hide when they do
I appreciate your empathy to Sangwoo in the end.
Oh wow
Seriously why did we have to read this I'm elementary school. It's so sad
I completely agree; it's just so well-done to say the least, so bravo to everyone who made such an amazing, and memorable experience. 👏👏👏
Just not the VIP actors lol
I just love that episode 2 revealed how everyone was gonna end up. And that the number one guy was the one leader of the games.
So, after seeing some comments around in regards of Seong Gi-hun’s decisions at the end and how he “was wasting time“ while doing nothing, I felt like sharing my opinion and thoughts about it too. 👉👈
I personally think that it’s quite harsh and entitled to expect from him to proceed with his life and taking care of those promises right away. He is the “winner“ of the Game. Winning a Game or Bet was always such a big deal for him. Remember how euphoric he got every time he won? Even when he lost x times before or when he didn’t even make the amount back he invested, winning made him feel like the King of the World. (Which was also said about winning the Squid Game at the beginning of the very first episode)
But does he feel like a winner now?
I completely agree. 👏👏👏
I was MAD ASF for feeling anything for that old man! But that’s literally life, some of the “sweetest” people, are monsters behind their mask
I completely agree; I can't believe I was rooting for him. 😭😭😭
I’m serious episode six and episode eight and nine we’re like literally my favorite episodes it’s like emotional I literally cried😢😢
@@jneumy566 Well, actually I've thought about it a little more and arrived to this conclusion:
Il-Nam's plan was to play the marbles game from the beginning.
This entire show is so similar to Would You Rather expect Squid Game is much more glamorous and grand, where as Would You Rather is much more horror and a movie.
your reactions are absolutely next level, they are so nice to watch cause you don't try to hide yourself
So glad you enjoyed them.
Heeey, another fellow german! 💜 Hallo! Ich liebe Nick's reaction videos, er ist wirklich ein so liebenswerter Mensch.
I've been checking my phone all day for this! I can't WAIT to see your final reaction, Nick! I'm so excited my friend! My daughter and I have theories on how season 2 will go. She thinks that past "winners" will come back & compete. Neither of us think the police officer is dead & he's still in play.
Hey Jen! I think the police detective is alive as well! So excited for season 2, glad to see you again!
I didn't pickup on the clues in earlier episodes .Will rewatch after Christmas🥀
Even though I watched this show already (twice infact) it was fun to "watch" it again with you and it felt like I was watching it with a friend.
I have been doing some resin art while watching your reviews, so it kept me entertained while creating some art.
SPOILER!! SPOILER!!
His mom’s death is even more sad when you realize she died on the same day of the marble game when a lot of good people died.
Dang-woo’s mom said she hasn’t heard her in 2 days, which 2 days ago was the marbles game.
Oh fk. Behind the scene of ep6
To add a little The title of the episode with mom’s death it is from a famous literature of korea named “one lucky day”. Its like returning to classics to us (korean tragedy) though we knew what was coming, the inevitableness of facing the reality made it more tragic.
Is that really a spoiler?
This show has me crying every minute😭 those cries sounded so real, amazing actors/actresses💔
I feel so bad for Nick. He was so happy to see the old man was still alive only to receive the shock of his life.
!!! You right!! OMG
When I found out the mother died, I was like really…are you serious rn. Are you fr fr. Deadass. Cut the cameras.

Great reaction video Nick! Watching your face light up when you found out Il nam/the old man was alive was so wholesome.

Gi-Hun saying "Mom, I'm home." haunts me. She most likely died thinking he was out gambling more money while she needed his help. Meanwhile he was struggling to stay alive and get the money for her. If only she was able to hold on a little longer.
remember, he was only gone for just few days, still tragic that mom died, he just wasn't there when she passed, she was just too sick
Nick in the OG episode 6 intro: I can't in my head be like 'he's alive' when he's dead
Oh Il-nam: And I took that personally
Seeing your reaction to this series was so beautiful. All of the emotions i experienced when first watching this series, i got to experience again thanks to you
Oh dang I didn’t get the notification! So happy to see your reaction to the finale, your reactions have been some of my favorite in this series!!
The episode was such huge plot twist
Another fun fact: there were many clues that Oh Il-nam was the mastermind behind all of this cause in the first game if you look closely you can see that the thicker green line outside Il-nam's body was not there, and other eastereggs and another theory is that Oh Il-nam is Gi-hun's father but it's just a theory so we don't know
Bro, I'm just glad they didn't show the stray cat dead, because no one would feed it, except for him on his way home. THAT would've killed me.
Oh nooo :(
I just got home after a very tough day at work so having you drop this video makes me feel better already
Nick seeing he was alive really went from ☺️ to 😯
Never felt so betrayed by a fictional character like this before
hi king halfway to 100k!!
Been waiting all day for this brother!
It’s like Haymitch in the hunger games says “There are no real winners of the hunger games, only survivors.” I feel the same applies here and to life in general. Sometimes you can have everything but nothing at all in both senses. We all really only survive life and how we do it is our own painful experience
Was expecting to be sad rewatching the rough scenes but the real pain was Nick bring happy that the old man was alive at first

I finally can say it...I *NEVER* trusted the old guy, since the very 1st game! The fact he was *SMILING* while people around him were being shot by a giant doll made him hella suspicious from the very beginning! The more you were getting attached to him,the more I was feeling bad for you!

Cause of death:she got stabbed.
hey nick really love your reaction series and am a big fan
When I saw the hands of the host I immediately had a feeling where they were taking things.
I was super angry at Gi-hun at the end for turning around and not getting on the plane, because he was abandoning his daughter once again.
Same...dude is a good friend but an awful father
He's not abandoning her. She is with her mum and her step dad. If he leaves and doesn't try to stop the games that's something Sang Woo would have done. He is putting everything to one side to save lives. He's sacrificing yet again.
Exactly he’s a idiot too this guy just said get on that plane they know exactly where he’s at this daughter is gonna get snatched up watch😂🤣
I don't think I ever got that far to the ending, I couldn't continue after seeing the mom die but I am so glad to be able to finish it on this channel. I'm saying it again Nick, I would love to see you react to "Romance is a Bonus Book," another K-drama that just rocked me to the core and was absolutely amazing.

i suspected 001 from the very beginning. not only was he way too enthusiastic about the games, we also never got to learn about his situation in ep 2. like they showed all of the main characters and what motivates them to join squid game, except for him. he just joined for the lulz haha. also, we never got to see him die so i was like 🧐🧐🧐
Enjoyed the show and the reaction videos! I'm really hoping for a season two, and some more characterization for some of the secondary characters (like the police officer's brother or the guy from The Train to Busan!). Great to see your kindhearted perspective!

Your reactions to this series were great and I'm glad to hear that you will start watching korra again.

If you pay attention, number 1 was never registered in the files when the detective was looking for the files on his brother. If you want to, look at clues that you may have missed videos for this show. It's really insightful.
@NickFlix, the diagram of the Squid Game is that of the main triangular figure of the squid body without the tentacle.
Hehe im excited to see how you reacted to the ending ☺
이 분 엄청 잘 우시네ㅠ 너무 귀여우셔😂
I want you to check out another Korean drama called Mr Sunshine, it’s a lot longer then squid game, but the story is amazing, and the guy who plays the front man Lee Byung-hun is the main lead.
We're getting to the endgame now. 🦑🦑🦑
I love your vids your the best
Most people realize the old man is a mastermind of the game the time gi hun read invitation card. It's funny you don't realize that and feel happy he's alive hahaha
